With a 19 yr old daughter out on the road on the weekend night in Atlanta I always worry about her safety. Drivers here are crazy and go so fast! I feel a little better knowing that she has one of these in her armrest compartment. The other one I put in my car.

Very good quality and screw holes are provided to place inside door pockets ( or any place of your choice) )
so if you ever did roll over you know where to find them not being cast about the vehicle.

Every vehicle should have one of these in each front door side door pocket for easy access in case your own or another car needs the glass broken during an emergency! All vehicle side doors and rear windows have tempered glass. A hammer will just bounce off the tempered glass, but the sharp point on this device will easily break the tempered glass into hundreds of small pieces. This device will not work on windshields which are fabricated by sandwiching a special film that bonds two pieces of glass together thus preventing the windshield from shattering on impact.

My daughter told me a few days ago that if I wished to get her something REALLY appreciated, we should get auto safety tools for her cars. She has given us two grandchildren, and their safety is paramount. Naturally I immediately logged onto Amazon to see what and how much these were...and was pleasantly surprised to fine these. I purchased two, and thanks to Prime, got them in 2 days.
I'm very impressed with the heft and solid build of these hammers. Can't wait to give one to her and put one in our primary vehicle.

I'm just reviewing what I received, I haven't had to used them. They come with a little black thing (it is like a case) to place them or fix them somewhere in the car. So, I got these on time, the packagig was good and they look fine and sturdy. I hope I never have to use these but they seem ok.

These safety hammers are both a deal and a steal. You can't go wrong with one for each car in the household. The materials seem to be of a very good quality, and the mounting brackets are an added touch that they didn't have to do. I hope I NEVER have to use these, but on my daily commute to and from work, we cross the 24 mile Causeway bridge, so my wife and I are a little more at ease having these with us. Thanks for a great buy! Everyone should have one! Or two.

Haven't had to use these, but purchased the set, one for each car. Instead of putting them in the glove box, which could be difficult to reach in an emergency, I have them super taped next to the driver seat right below the shifter, where they can be easily accessible. I have never flipped a vehicle or run it into water, but should something like that happy, the wife and I will at least have a tool that can help us out.

I don't really know about the quality of this as I've been lucky enough not to have to use it. Actually, I hope I NEVER have to use it. I will say I feel much safer knowing my wife and I each have one in our car. After some bad flooding in town I decided to take some precautions and this was at the top of the list. They seem to be well made so if the need arises I'm sure they will do the job. I think everyone should have a tool like this in their car.

This is the perfect I don't to keep in your car, actually in every car that you own. With the rising statistics of children and animals dying in hot cars it should be a must in every car. It is 2 tools and one that has the ability to cut your seatbelt break and your window. It's pretty heavy so that would give you some indicator of the quality.
