I purchased this to fix my glasses that keep falling apart for some reason. I did find that it is useful for other items around the house such as those toys that require batteries but have TINY screws holding the lid on. It came in very handy when I found myself in need of opening my water heater panel in a bind when a normal flat head wouldn't work as it was too large.

I hardly ever take the time to actually write product reviews but I was so excited by this little screwdriver set that I was compelled to leave my feedback here. For about six dollars (with free add-on shipping) this is the perfect set of screwdrivers for disassembling laptop cases.

I cannot comment on the appropriateness for eyeglasses repair as I bought these specifically to disassemble the case of my Dell Inspiron Mini 1018, which has the 2.5mm screws.

I needed to disassemble the laptop to replace the RAM. I already own a set of "precision" screwdrivers but the ones I already had are flathead screwdrivers only. I optimistically thought I could make due and disassemble the laptop with the flathead screwdrivers I already owned, and everything worked fine until I had the laptop almost completely disassembled. Unfortunately I then encountered the really stubborn screw that just would not come loose. I nearly stripped the screw, tore up my fingers with the pressure, and managed to bend the smallest of my flathead screwdrivers before I finally gave up and decised I needed to invest in some mini phillips screwdrivers.

The Phillips size 00 and size 0 were perfect for my needs. This set has sizes 00, 0, and 1, which should cover all your needs for laptop disassembly ever for those really tightly screwed in screws. The screwdrivers felt solid. The handles are smooth so they should not hurt your fingers when applying a lot of pressure. Best of all disassembly and reassembly was super quick and I wasn't stuck with any stripped screws. I love this little screwdriver set!

I've been using the crap out of the purple screwdriver to open up my laptop, and I love how you can push down on it while still being able to turn it with your other hand. The case is very useful too so I don't lose my screwdrivers, and the side latch is reassuring to make sure it doesn't open accidentally. Fashionable, useful, and hardy.

Nice set of small drivers needed to repair eye glasses and miscellaneous other products with very small flat head and phillips head screws.l also need it to remove screws from the back of electronic devices that need battery changes.

The perfect set for my R/C flight box. You need small screwdrivers to fit the screws that hold the servo arms to the servo drive shafts.
Tip: Before you break a fingernail trying to open the case, there is a tiny nylon tie in front of the slide that you have to remove so that the slide will push forward. I've used small ties on models but never saw on that small - it's almost invisible.

OK...I don't get it. This thing cost me under 9 bucks, including shipping. It has 6 drivers that are each anodized in a different color. It has a plastic case with a printed insert. Point is, how in the world do they even MANUFACTURE this (even in China) for that low of a price? How do they make any profit.

I received this yesterday, and I'm very impressed with the quality. I just don't understand how they can sell these at the low cost that they do.

I love these! My husband has full set of tools and it is pain for me to use them when I need only for changing the batteries for the toys. I bought these and pack them with the batteries. When I need screwdriver for something small such as batteries, fixing toys etc, I don;t need to bring big ugly tool box in to the house from the garage.

This is a great little set. I'm happy to have purchased it. It's already come in handy in a lot of situations for me. I deal a lot with computers, and my wife with children's toys (replacing batteries). In every instance we've found a perfect size that has fit our needs. Absolutely needed for for those toys with crazy screws holding the toys into plastic holder in package which I can't figure out why they do it .....all that matters is kids wanting the toy toy right now. Has other uses but who cares compared to making a kids toys.
