This is perfect for sorting beads and gemstones. Since dividers were so much $$, I bought a 15 x 18 inch sheet of plastic at Lowes for $2 and made my own. Unfortunately, the choices were only pink and green, but I can live with that to save $30!! The few dividers proided on the back of the unit are black..... For those who are inclined to make their own, each divider is 3x5 cm.

This item does come with dividers. They are molded into the frame and can be popped out. (I didn't notice at first either)
The drawers are made of a flexible plastic that doesn't feel like it will break there is plenty of room on the front for labels. They stack surprisingly well. There's not much else to say aside from the fact that they are exactly what they are supposed to be.

I have been searching for a good Lego organizing system, and finally found what we believe to be a winner. This is a pricey system (but so is Lego). We considered sorting to keep all set pieces together, but really felt that Lego is the most fun when you can create your own inventions and mix pieces from sets. We've tried plastic storage containers and zipper bags but none really seemed to work that well. While definitely on the more aggressive end of organizational systems, these work perfectly to sort small pieces, which can easily be located again if you wanted to build a particular set using Lego instructions. The fact that you can move individual drawers is really helpful when you want to reorganize rows or have new pieces that best belong in a specific location. Or if you have too many of one kind of piece, you can then consider sorting by color too. The drawers have a simple stopper system to prevent them from falling out easily (a tiny tab that sticks out to block the drawer from sliding out completely unless you angle the drawer slightly), which is helpful since the drawers slide so easily. If you want to move the whole cabinet, just tilt it so the drawers sit back in their slots. A slight lean forward will result in all your drawers sliding out (and hopefully not falling out completely, but it's a bit wobbly). And if you want to take it a step further, check out this person's Lego labeling system, where you can download free templates if you have the appropriate label printer: http://tomalphin.com/bricklabels (I am not affiliated, but found his site very useful in figuring out how to actually sort the pieces). The attached photo is from his page. We also bought the matching cabinets with all big drawers and mixed size drawers, but I think this one will be the most useful.

I ordered the Akro-Mils 10164 and 10144 to use for storage for my jewelry making accessories (i.e. beads, charms, findings, etc.). It's PERFECT! The drawers are pretty small, so perfect for beads. The 10144 model that had 12 of the larger drawers are great for storing ribbon and such, as well. I used a couple of the drawer dividers that come included (attached to the back of the unit, which you just cut/snap off). There aren't enough of them included to be used in all of the drawers, but I think cardboard or posterboard would probably work just as well. The only negative I have is that the two plastic bars that go across the back were slightly bent in, which makes the middle drawers all pop out slightly rather than closing all the way. But, they are still secure enough to not fall out, so I'm not worried about it. Overall, this is great for my jewelry making needs!

I am very happy with this storage solution. It is easy to find things because the bins are clear. You can get replacement bins if you lose one (that happen a lot if you bring a bin or two into the kitchen or wherever you are doing the repairs). The size is good and fairly destruction proof.
Before you get it though, be sure you know what size you need. I probably should have gotten one size up because once I got to using it I realized how many other little parts I had around the house. I'm almost of our little bins already.
It keeps the dust out if you store it in the garage so no more dusty parts! Good all around and I would recommend it to anyone who has lots of little screws and what not.

I like keeping my crafts organized and find this organizer very helpful. Overall I am satisfied with it, even though it has several things that could have been better.
The organizer arrived with no protective packaging, no instructions, and no mounting hardware.
I did not see any dividers in the package. Only when I was taking photos for this review did I notice that the back of the organizer has plastic dividers molded in the back, so if you want dividers you can cut them off. Since the organizer drawers fall out when you tilt the organizer forward you need to remove the dividers before you fill the compartments with stuff. See photo #3 to see the photo of the back of the organizer. Note that the number of the dividers are much smaller than the number of compartments.
As I mentioned earlier the organizer came without any mounting hardware. The spacing between mounting holes is 18 inches, so you cannot place both holes into studs spaced 16 inches apart. Photo #2 shows the hardware I purchased separately to mount the organizer on hollow walls. #8-10x1" bolts with anchors worked well.
There is a total of 64 compartments. Photo #1 shows a close-up of one of the drawers with a pen inside for size reference. The compartments are 2" wide, 5.5" long, and 1.5" deep.
The compartments can be taken out fairly easily which I find that handy when I need to use the content. I wish the compartments were a little longer (6" would have been perfect). Akro-Mils makes several versions of this organizer: one with all small compartments, one with all large compartments, and one half large and half small compartments.
I LIKED:
1. Organizer is helpful to keep small items orderly
2. Wall mounting saves space, I placed behind the door in a wasted space otherwise
3. Each bin can be easily taken out and put back
I DID NOT LIKE:
1. No mounting hardware, no template for making holes in the wall
2. No instructions - I noticed dividers just by chance because I was writing this review and taking photos
3. Would have preferred slightly longer compartments (6 inches rather than 5.5 inches)
Overall, I am pleased and would buy this organizer again if I had to do it over again.

These plastic parts drawers are great! They are well made and drawers slide in and out very easily when pulled. I don't have any of these wallmounted yet, but maybe when I get some more, I will try that out - there are cutouts in the back for you to mount on the wall, as well as some plastic dividers on the back you can punch out and put into the drawers.
Only con of this product is the fact it comes with maybe 6-10 dividers and there are 64 drawers - poor planning on their part. They need to include 64 dividers. I don't consider this to be a deal breaker though.
Here is what I did to make free dividers. Find an amazon box somewhere thats made of a thinner cardboard. You can use thicker, but I find that the thinner kind works best. Take ONE of the Akro-mils dividers that they provided for you (they are on the back of the drawer container) and trace the outline on the piece of cardboard. Cut out the piece of cardboard, and slide it into one of the drawers. Works nicely, and is a free solution that only costs a little time. I've also saw some people were saying you could go buy a sheet a plastic and cut that and insert it, but I prefer my free divider method
I can't wait to buy more of these, they keep me so organized!

This worked perfectly for our lego station! It is filled with little lego pieces that otherwise get easily lost. We haven't had any issues with tipping over and the little drawers slide out nicely. It is easy to tell what's in each drawer. Would highly recommend.

After a thorough search for a large storage bin, I finally settled on this one. When it arrived, I found it to be everything I was looking for: see-through drawers that I can actually see through, good construction, and plenty of space. I mounted it on the wall at eye level. Works great!

Inwont be using this for tool/craft anything.. I will be using this for my students brag tags. It is a classroom incentive for students and this is the perfect accessory to store all their tags! Love this! An example of what it will be used for is attached..
