I use this extension to allow me to mount the Battery Maintainer on a shelf in my garage that is near a power outlet. The extension allows me to drape it in the rafters of the garage and then the connections from the battery can come down from above. Before buying this extension I had to set the battery maintainer on the radiator of my truck with its hood up and run an extension cord over for the battery maintainer to plug into. With this extension cord I can unplug the battery maintainer, disconnect the battary maintainer connections from my truck battery and drape them over to the side, shut the hood and drive away. Before it was a hastle to disconnect the battery maintainer and move it over to the side of the garage before being able to drive off. The extension is worth the money to me for that convienence.

The insulation on this is not superthin cheapo stuff. The connectors fit snuggly. The connectors on this also fit batteryMINDer battery maintainers.

This quick disconnect extension cable works with my existing Battery Tender to keep the battery properly charged in my extra truck. Since I keep my truck in the driveway, I didn't want to keep my Battery Tender out in the weather or under the hood. Nor did I want to run a 120-volt extension cord outside where it could get wet and shock someone. Now, with this long cable, I can keep the Battery Tender mounted on the wall inside the garage and I can run the 12-volt 25-foot extension outside to the vehicle as needed. Of course, before connecting and installation, read the manuals for safety-related information specific to your intended use. As an added bonus of unintended consequences, I can see the status LEDs on the Battery Tender from inside the garage.
The cable is built tough: the connectors are attached to the cable well, the insulation is thick, and one end of the cable is fitted with a plastic cover that can be snapped onto the electrical connector to keep it clean and minimize weathering when not connected to the vehicle.
SOLAR USERS: This cable is 16 gauge. Most wire size-to-ampacity tables recommend no more than 3.7 amps on this size conductor; check your operating and short circuit current ratings on your solar panel(s) / module(s) before connecting.

I am using this cable as an extention cable for some Harbor Freight Solar Panels. Connector ends fit properly and the price was great. Received this product very quickly. Satisfied customer here.

This extension is worth the money. I have ring terminals on my truck and my camaro. The camaro parks in the garage nose first. And my truck is parked outside. This extension allows the battery tender to sit on the work bench and I can just move the connection from the camaro to the truck whenever I want. And I have not seen this price anywhere else.

I have a 4 port Battery Tender to manage 4 batteries (3 motorbikes and an infrequently used large SUV). Its not unusual to find my SUV having a dead battery after 4 weeks of inactivity - this is a known problem with this older GM model - and having a trickle charge topping off that battery through the 12v accessory dash port has been a big help. I also have 3 motorbikes stored for the winter and those little batteries need to be kept topped off. Everything is spread out and adding 25' cables to each lead makes it very easy to connect the chargers to each vehicle.
I know that an alternative to this is simply popping out the batteries and clamping leads to them...but the newer, more electronic-dependent bikes are like new cars - disconnected batteries eventually wipe out programming and key-code recognition. This is a way easier, non invasive way of maintaining battery voltage and amperage over long periods of inactivity.

This cord is just what I needed to be able to put the charger unit in a convenient place and still reach the car. It's well made and at 20 feet allows a lot of flexibility.

I really needed to add an extension to my battery tender charger. I was having to move everything I ever wanted to charge to the front of the garage so that my tender was able to reach the connection. My only other option was to drag out extension cords and leave them out while charging with my tender. All of these things simply made keeping batteries charged a pain in the rear. I am glad this extension was available as a solution to my problem.
This cable seems to be real heavy duty. It is 25' as described and the connection fit perfectly with the battery tender. It is also nice that they included the little caps on the ends to keep them from arcing and allow you to leave everything hooked up without unplugging your tender.
I did not receive any type of discount, free products or compensation for providing this review. I simply want to let people know that I was very happy with this purchase and it solved my problem.

Increases your reach by 25'!
What else is there to say? I can keep my truck trickle charging all winter... or hook it to my sons 4 wheeler because he left the key on next to the garage... or my wife can bring me a battery to charge while I'm sitting on the couch watching TV... ALL WITH THE CHARGER ON THE WORKBENCH IN THE GARAGE!
