I'm going to start this review by saying I don't know much about tools. All I know is I needed basic tools to do household work. This was cheap, the tools seem to be good quality, and I can do almost everything I need. The only thing missing was the hex tool that a lot of ikea stuff use. Bummer on that. I'll attach images so you can see all of the tools that come in the kit.

I am a bit of a diy kind of gal. This set has a nice variety of components that complement my new B&D 20 volt cordless drill/driver. I've already used a few of the pieces and am happy with the quality.

Everyone has found out how useful that a battery operated drill/driver is these days, and like a gun without bullets, you must have the correct tools for that drill to make it useful. I have had this set for about two years and use it frequently in projects around the house. I find that the organization of the box makes the tools much more useful since you are not always looking around in the bottom of a disorganized toolbox to find what you need. The quality of the tools are reasonably adequate for most situations. I have broken some of the smaller bits and have replaced them, but that seems to be the only problem that I have had. It is a little difficult to get the tools in and out of the plastic box, but as I said, it is worth it, when you go to find them the next time that you need them. I hardly ever use any of my older (and better) bits just because it is easier to take this kit to the job site, and I know that I have everything that I need. I am sure that I will keep this case restocked so it will retain its usefulness. In addition to being a great set of tools, it is a great bonus that it is also such a great value. I highly recommend this product. If you use tools, this will be at the front of your tool bench.

I used to own a lot of tools, and i used them regularly. Starting over from scratch, this was one of mmy first purchases, and it was a good move.
It;s the poor worksman that blames his tools. that doesn't mean that with care, you can accomplish great things withh second-rate tools. It means, rather, that a craftsman selects his tools carefully are cares for them properly. These are not gold-plated tools by any eans, but thet are sound, highly useful tools, for the most part, and they are mostly tools that the average handyman will find a use for.
The weakest part of this kit is the case. Sooner or later, you'll wear out or break drill bits, and there's no place in the case to hold a new set of drill bits. Or you'll fall in love with Forschner bits. I love bits that drill a hole, complete with countersink, for wood screws. Whatever you find essential, it won't fit in the case, and if you have to carry a drill/driver case, plus this kit, plus a tool box for your other essentials, plus a box of wood screws, plus some workstock, well, you need a tribe of natives to accompany you on the expedition to the bedroom where you are fixing something. It would make more sense to have separate cases for each type of tool, so you could grab what you need and put them in a single tote.
But this is a nice collection of tools and accessories, at a price, as a start.

I love it. Just wish it had a case to put it in. Just the right weight for me and easy to use for a beginner female senior citizen! I put up a set of shelving using it and it made the job so much easier. I bought the drill and the bit combination. The only thing the bits lacked was the Ikea Allen wrench bit, which I intend to order.

Good variety for the price. Was about 60% the cost of the drill unit--not sure if that speaks to the quality of this kit or the quality of the drill. Has plenty of options for boring into wood and others have reporting being able to drill through metal, which I don't doubt. Some people have reported that certain bits (especially smaller ones) are prone to breakage & bending, but I can confidently say that was likely due to user error. I have bent & broken many expensive drill bits in my day and I have no doubt in this kit's substance; I wouldn't put these through a "stress test" or intentionally try to break bits, because you WILL break them, but if handled properly while in motion, I'm confident these bits won't break/bend under pressure. My biggest complaint is the difficulty of putting the bits back into the plastic housings (where you may break them), but this is a good buy otherwise, both on price point and variety. I'm sure there are other kits out there with a better selection at a similar price, but if you're buying this alongside the B&D drill motor, it's a solid purchase.

Great bit set. Comes with all the bits you need and then some. The case is light and durable. The perfect addition to any drill. I bought this set to go with my Matrix drill. Works great and all bits fit the drill properly. I had to put a master lock on my gun safe because the digital lock on the safe messed up and wouldn't lock. I used one of these bits to drill the lock latch on with and it worked great. The bit did not break or become dull. If you are looking for a strong bit that will drill through something as tough as a safe, this is what you need.

This thing is awesome.
I already have a toolset that contains screw-head bits, but not drill bits, so I was a little hesitant to purchase this entire set rather than just the drill bits. What really sold this for me, is that it comes in a case first of all. Second of all, it comes with 5 drill bits for drilling into ceramic tile! I had no idea there was a special drill bit needed to drill into tile, but this toolset came as a huge life saver in that aspect. It's organized properly and all the bits are very secured - almost annoyingly secured - but to be fair, I'd rather too-secured than not-secured-enough.
For the money, this set is completely worth purchasing. Maybe a little less so if you already have a good set of screw bits and drill bits, but worth it nonetheless.

If you have a new drill and need a good started kit, this is it. It has drill bits galore, for all types of jobs and materials. The case it comes in is very convenient as well, and all of the bits stay in place even after a good banging around in my trunk driving around some bumpy back roads. A great price for the amount of bits you gets, plus on top of that you get a few other random little pieces that come in handy when you are trying to use your drill, or even replace some ones you may have lost or broken.

Just what I needed for my drill. It has all the necessary bits I use frequently, and even some I probably will never use. If you have a drill, I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.
