I really love this little mouse. I am sanding my stairs and sideboard, and it gets into all the little corners and nooks. I have rather small hands, and this is perfect to use. It collects the dust pretty well, but the container is small, so you have to empty it often.

Great sander and I gave it 5 stars however it's worth mentioning that the little cup sand dust holder falls off and won't stay on after one use. I snapped it on as tightly together as I could manage and it still won't stay on. It's useless....pointless
But that aside... the sander itself is of good quality and works great with the assorted sandpaper pack. I'm satisfied with the purchase because I had already read the other reviews who also said the sand dust holder doesn't' stay on... I was forewarned.
But to Black + Decker I would say... get over the sand dust cup holder. Focus on the quality of your sander and stop trying to sell the product on something that it doesn't do.

I am new to the sanding world and just knew my senior hands would be worn out, this is great, yes for a female, of which I am, so far 1 chair, 2 to go the kitchen cabinets..just love how it handles and sands.

This was a pleasure to use right out of the box. I expected something cheap as it was not expensive but it performed with the best. It works all day for my sanding making craft shop ...all day long. Glad I went this route to save money almost bought one 3 times the price. Excellent job Black and Decker!

I'm happy so far. I had B&D's previous mouse and this one seems better constructed. I don't know if dust collection works as I used the sander outdoors and wear mask and goggles. I actually attach disks which have adhesive backing and they stick well to the base. I was sanding quite aggressively and this sander seems to take my rough handling. I like the slide on-off switch...prior model had two tabs which needed to be pushed to turn on-off ... I couldn't easily find the tabs sometimes. The slide on-off switch is nice and easily found when googles are all fogged up or covered with dust!

Sands efficiency and easily. The pointed end fits into tight spaces. Whole mouse is lightweight and easy to hold and maneuver...even for a 'mature' user with weak arms/hands. I have used it on wooden furniture, wood filler over large areas, and plaster....all with excellent results.
I love this little helper.

I used to haaate sanding, it was so much work and I never got a really good result, either by hand or using our orbital sander. However this sander has changed my mind about sanding and now I'm actually *looking forward* to sanding down the rough spots on my deck this spring and repainting it. I've done this once in the past using my orbital sander and it did not go well and was a ton of wasted effort. After using my new mouse on several projects already though I know they will be so much easier with this.

Works well. Is easy for me to hold, and not too heavy. I don't have a problem with the small amount of sawdust that does not go into the container, and I think this happens when I hold the sander in certain positions. So I try to keep it upright while using. Sometimes, it isn't possible. Not a big problem to me.

Works well and is easy to hold. This one is recommended because of the on-board dust collector which is easy to empty. Gets into small crevices.

SO easy to use. I'm a 27 year old petite female and LOVE using this for DIY projects! I love repainting old furniture so this gets used all the time and I am very comfortable using it. Not very heavy and easy to use!
