My dad and I used this drill set to build a whole greenhouse with wood and polycarbonate from the ground up and install the shelves. The battery lasts for a long time and we only have to charge once a day after a whole day of use. It's a bit banged up from all the use and abuse, but it's still going strong and has become my dad's favorite drill. He barely uses his corded drill anymore. I think he's claimed it as his own now ...

The spade bits were used to drill into 4"x4" wood for the greenhouse frame to make holes for 1/2" hex bolts. The different sized drill bits proved to be useful for the different sized screws we used for the greenhouse. Since they aren't as sharp as the more expensive brands, they do take a tiny bit longer to drill through certain things, but for those with less experience, the slower equipment allows more time for precision. My dad has limited vision so the drill and drill bits give him time to steady his hands and also allow him time to see where the drill is going while he's on.

Instead of asking for jewelry, I asked for this drill kit as a Valentine's Day present. It's hands down the best drill I've used. It's small yet powerful. I have tiny hands and I can hold the drill comfortably in my hand without getting tired.

The drill bits are easy to switch out and tightening it doesn't require a lot of strength. I use this drill on almost all my DIY projects around the house, like fixing my Roomba, installing ceiling fans and installing curtain rods.

The only thing I don't like about this kit is it doesn't have a box to hold all the drill bits. The bag has no compartments to keep the drill bits separate. I keep the sharp kits in a smaller bag and throw that in with the rest of the tools. But the con isn't enough to decrease the rating.

Everything in this picture is included in the box! The drill is a compact drill that even has an LED light to see where you're drilling if working in low light. It comes with a wide array of tools to help any DIY person like myself. Black and Decker has always been at the top of my list for tools and accessories and it continues to be after this purchase! I never had a complete tool set and was in dire need of one because of random projects, and now with this I can do everything I need too!

My only complain is the bag, its small and there are no sections or pockets to separate anything so it would be jumbled together. I decided to use an old tool box I had in the basement.

All in all a 5 out of 5 for this tool set! I big recommend to anyone who needs a tool set and doesn't want to break the bank!

Got tired of my husband's tools never being available, so bought this one just for me! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Just the right amount of tools. I've already used it in the house, the barn and when working on a shed. Plenty of power for the projects I've had. Can't say enough good things about this set.

This kit was the ticket for starting a new place! The kit has just about everything you need to do routine work around the house. I built a new house 1500 miles away from home, 15 miles from the nearest town and 200 miles from the closest lowes/home depot. There's been a variety of tasks to do finishing touches on my visits. Cant fill a suitecase with tools. Every time I've needed a tool, I've got it in the bag. Hug time saver. You can do almost any project with this set. The only thing missing is a saw.

Before I get into my review, I just wanted to state why other reviewers were having problems with their tools. The tools, like the drill bits, are somewhat low quality. They'll get the job done if you stay heavily aware with the drill, these aren't exactly the types of bits to be rough with and expect them to still work okay. This tool set is a kit, considerably a started kit actually. The way it was packaged and made, any person can tell that due to how light and mobile they were made. The drill, I have absolutely no problem with it whatsoever. I like how small they made it because I'm more in control of what I use it for. The spade bits were a tad rough around where they were supposed to be sharp, but that's something a few streaks of sandpaper can fix. I love the variety of screwdriver heads, they're an absolute lifesaver if you have kids with bikes or any other toys that have odd looking heads. I noticed that with the spade and nut drivers, they came with more holes than what the kit has and it's to allow more room for more bits when needed which is fantastic. Now, I don't normally talk about such a basic tool, but I absolutely LOVE the adjustable wrench. It's very smooth when it slides and very very responsive to how you want it. I haven't tested this kit out in any projects yet but I'll update this review when I do. I'm very pleased to say the least :)

I bought this for my dad as a gift, and he absolutely loved it! A couple folks have mentioned that it's flimsy and almost "for kids". Look, if you plan on working on a ship, airplane, or freeway with this kit, then by all means - do NOT buy it. This isn't for THAT heavy duty work. If you're repairing garage door that your wife accidentally ran into, or replacing the hoses on the washing machine that your kids overloaded and broke - THIS IS FOR YOU! The case that comes with it is also very comfy. Not that I've ever slept in it, but because the tools fit in there perfectly. Great product with a long lasting battery folks. You'll love it.

I bought this for my husband. This drill has proven to be the best we have ever owned! It even beat out or Craftsman drill !! The battery pack and drill are light weight and hold a charge for a good amount of time. He uses this drill at work also and has proven its self there also! FANTASTIC DRILL!!

I finally decided to buy a drill after my most recent move. I had things to install around the house, my dresser needed new holes drilled for the mirror attachment, curtains to hang, and I didn't want to have to have everything ready to go all in one day so I could rent a drill. Plus, as a renter, 2-3 drill rentals equals the cost of this kit, and this is obviously a much better value, so if you have the money in your budget, absolutely buy. My boyfriend's response when he saw this kit: "how much did this cost? I want one for myself!" Everything fits nicely in the bag--however, I do wish it came with some smaller pockets/compartments for the small, sharp things. I grabbed an old makeup bag for the little things and tossed it into the larger bag it came with. I'm sure eventually I'll upgrade to a better project bag, but this works for now. The drill did have a little trouble when we hit studs, but did great with drywall and the furniture. Powerful enough for anything I would probably be doing, but definitely will need to upgrade for any heavy-duty building. Definitely would recommend for the hobbyist crafter, fix-it-yourself-er, or renter.

The driver takes a charge quickly and lasts for days of heavy household use (installing towel bars, etc.). I'm very impressed. Normally I'm a tool snob and insist on better brands, but this little unit fights above its weight. The drill bits and paddle bits are brilliant additions as are the full-sized screwdrivers. The weakest component is the hammer only because it's cheap plastic grip makes your hand smell funny after you use it. But for cheap, this is a GREAT starter set.

My husband was in desperate need of a new drill set. He wanted one that had decent power and torque, so I did some research. While this is not the most powerful drill out there, it looked like it would fit our needs. I went ahead and got it for him for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. He said that for the size of the drill, it has great torque and power.

The drill comes with a number of pieces to help with any project, and has the charger with it. The drill holds a good charge - much better than other drills we have had in the past. There are several bits with it, as well, which is very nice. Everything is nicely packaged and comes with a carrying case that seems well-made.

We plan to use this drill set for basic little projects around the house. My husband is also working on building some wood-working projects such as a bookshelf that he is excited to use the drill for. With so many pieces in the set, we likely won't have to go buy extra pieces.
