This review is for the BlueFire 1100 Lumen Tactical Waterproof Flashlight. We have a nice collection of flashlights to keep in our vehicles and for emergencies (we live in hurricane country) and this is one of my favorites so far. Don't let the compact size fool you because the lumens exceed a lot of the much larger plastic style flashlights. The beam focus is good for all around use.

It has an endcap control button which is a plus because it allows you to control it while keeping a tight grip. The light has three intensity settings, strobe and morse S.O.S. Controls are easy to use and figure out. Solid push button for on and off. Changing settings is done with a softer push of the button. A nice feature is that it remains on your last selected setting when turned on. The body is smooth, but a raised rib helps in maintaining grip. The light comes with a retention strap, which is a bonus, but the thin nylon attachment isn't the strongest. I replaced it with a small key ring and now it's solid. Overall, a quality E.D.C. I have many flashlights. I just like to try them all. I love the really bright ones. This BlueFire tactical flashlight is bright. It is over 1,000 lumens. It has a Cree XM-L2 LED bulb. They are very bright and do not use as much power as some other flashlights. They are also just all around better bulbs. If you drop a regular bulb flashlight it will probably ruin the light bulb. Unless it is dropped hard, this bulb should be fine. Another thing I really like about this light is how it looks. It is a very pretty color and it is very smooth, not the usual boring black. It comes with a wrist strap that is already connected to the end cap. There are 5 modes on this light that range from bright to strobe. This light can be used anywhere because it is waterproof, which is awesome. I like how this flashlight looks and how bright it is and I would 100% recommend it. It does not come with a battery but I suggest buying a rechargeable battery and charger. It uses one 18650 or two CR123A batteries and both sizes come in rechargeable. You know this is a great flashlight when the guys on the fire department all claim this specific flashlight is theirs when you know very well it is yours. I admit we have other flashlights but they all seem to perfect for specific tasks. Yes we have the one that has the red led lights that flash that’s perfect for assisting with traffic but this heavy duty tactical one is great for vehicle accidents and even search and rescue. It does have the tactical feel and grip. The powerful beam searches farther than the traditional flashlight. Illuminates 60 yards, has a center beam with a flood outer. At 8ft away beam illuminates approximately 10 feet wide of an area. Up close it has a wide pattern that floods the room with a spot center to point and highlight the area. At a distance the point center floods which gives the spot focus a wider brighter area. Good for distances up to 60 yards. Not an adjustable light patterning meaning the ability to spot or widen the beam is not available. Glow in the dark on and off push button for easy location it the dark- only if it has been recharged in the light prior. Now it does require a specific battery or even a battery adapter to use AA batteries, however as First Responders we have both just for back up. Either battery is not included with this tactical light and must be purchased separately. Multiple light setting for use as needed; bright, less bright, dim, rapid flash, slow flash, off. This tactical flashlight had the better led bulb, brighter than others. Great tactical flashlight to have on hand to assist us in assisting the emergencies that arise. I have yet to completely immerse in water but in full rain downpour this light has not failed us yet. I received this product at a promotional rate for quality testing. One of the things about where I live is that there are almost no street lights and when there is an emergency with any of the animals its hard to do anything. One of the things that we have to always have on hand is a flashlight. We have probably over 6 flashlights in the house but there is always a need for more.

When I received this flashlight at first it didn’t look like much. The flashlight isn’t very big (the flashlight fits in the palm of my hand.) Though this is one of those cases that things are not always what they seem. Now the batteries do not come with this flashlight and the batteries that are needed for this flashlight are not ones that are usually laying around the house. I bought my batteries on line for a great price. One of my favorite parts of this flashlight is the sheer small size of it cause its super easy to put in your pocket and go. The flashlight even has a nice rope attached to it that is nice and easy to place around your wrist if its needed.

Now onto the fact that this flashlight can turn night into day. One of the things that this flashlight is smaller but it shines like it’s a big boy flashlight. We own some huge flashlights and this flashlight out shines all of them, The light shines bright and also rather wide for such a small flashlight. The flashlight is made of a heavier metal and the flashlight does have some weight to it. This is a sturdy flashlight so that this is one that is great to have for any emergency needs. This one is now sitting in my glove box for emergency purposes.

This is a must have flashlight. It packs a punch in a smaller package. It's waterproof according to the IPX-7 Standard, which essentially means it would be suitable for mounting on a vehicle such as a motorcycle, a bicycle, an ATV, a golf cart, or a boat. It will resist splashes, snow, and rain. It can withstand incidental exposure to water of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. For the average enthusiast, this standard rating is more than sufficient to use in most scenarios. This is a super choice to keep handy in your vehicle and you never know when you might need to put a little light on the subject. You can always attract attention with the S.O.S. light feature or warn people with the strobing option. All 5 lighting option choices work great and are very impressive. My personal favorite feature of this flashlight is super brightness. When I go camping, this comes out of my vehicle and goes into the camper, as I hate fumbling around trying to walk on uneven ground at night. In fact it went with me this last weekend and I kept it right beside me while sitting by the fire. When I needed to get another refreshment or grab the 'smores ingredients, my flashlight went with me. For me it's a must have, and it's a great gift for the recreational vehicle owner in your life. It does require a 18650 Lithium Ion battery for operation, and those can be found reasonably on the Internet. I was expecting just a regular flashlight when I bought this, but it's way brighter than just a regular flashlight. It takes weird batteries and I was lucky that I had a couple already. I brought the light into my bathroom because there are no windows and it's pitch black. As you can see from my photos, this flashlight made it look like it was the middle of the day in there. One feature that I like is the glow in the dark power button. The very dark photo is showing the glowing power button. This would be helpful in the event of a power outage. It would also be great to keep in the glove box of your car. You never know when you will get a flat tire in the dark. This flashlight is super bright! I was impressed with how bright it is for being so small. We live on a pretty good sized lot which is mostly woods. I can use this and see quite a distance into it versus my bulkier flashlight I spent a lot more on! I love that it's waterproof. I put it in a bathtub of water and the light still worked. I was hoping I didn't screw it up (hey ya have to try it all!) and it worked perfectly even the next day.

This would be an awesome flashlight for an emergency bag or something like that. We get hurricanes and lose power, get flooded etc. This flashlight is now located in the bag or two we have set up for those situations! I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.

Super impressed by this BlueFire 1100 Lumen Tactical WATERPROOF flashlight. Now this is the real deal totally waterproof great to use for fishing at night in the boat or small canoes since it is so compact and the water will not damage it!! My 8 year old played with it for the last few days and the battery is still super charged usually he kills them after the first day so far this one is holding it`s battery charge real impressed!.Made military grade and has 5 light settings and is great for camping,hunting,fishing and hiking all the fun outdoor activities. This does take a special battery it is 18650 or CR123A batteries so make sure to get a few when you order this because it does not come with any! I live in a hurricane state and having flashlights is a must in a emergency box of supplies.

This torch flashlight is by far the brightest one I own, the light carries quite the distance and has a wide beam.

It is extremely light weight and very eady to use, it does require a different type of button battery that is expensive but seems to last quite a long time. I found the battery at our local hardware store in the lighting department.
