I know a lot of you are thinking jig saw blades are just jig saw blades... I was about to throw out my old Skil jig saw I got back in college as I could simply NOT get it to cut anywhere close to square, the Black and Decker, and Milwaukee blades I had for it would deflect almost 15 degrees even in pine.... But a friend recommended I try these Bosch blades, he said he had the same exact trouble with his B&D saw and the blades made it work the way it was supposed to...
Now mind you, I was ready to throw that old Skil in the dumpster and buy a new Hitachi...
To say I am impressed is an understatement. Square cuts now with no fighting blade flex. MUCH cleaner cuts than the other blades I tried...
So when I need to cut one or two quick curves, instead of changing blades on my band saw and tuning it back up, I can actually use the Jig Saw, get the cut done, and move on to the sander quickly... Money well spent for sure!

This blade assortment includes just about everything that you'll need for your jig saw. I have used 2 of the blades so far and have found that they do a nice job, especially providing a clean cut in both wood and metal.

This set was purchased as a gift, but I always get Bosch blades because they do a great job and last longer than any other blade I've tried. The wood blades don't even have a problem with treated wood. The first metal cutting blade I "retired" was after cutting countless metal siding pieces, and finally some angle iron. When it began to slow down, I found that most of the teeth had been worn down. That was a lot of cutting in some difficult material. A few years ago I bought a Bosch jig saw, that came with the blades. When I began using it, I could not believe it kept doing the job for so long, and I've been using jig saws for almost 40 years. The same blade has been used for months at a time. Highly recommend giving Bosch blades a try, as the amount of work they put out is unreal. Don't throw money away on "bargain" blades, if they can't finish a project. You will be able to finish many projects with these blades.

If you do a little research you will find that people who do a lot of woodworking and use jig saws regularly are well aware of the CLEAR superiority of Bosch jig saw blades. Buy a cheap jig saw if your budget is very limited but then buy THESE blades for it.
If there are better jig saw blades available I've not heard what they are or where they come from.
Trust me.....you will be astounded when you watch one of these blades go through an oak board!!

After reading reviews, I chose this set of blades for the new Black & Decker JS515 Variable Speed Jigsaw that I was ordering at the same time. I have used some of them and find that they stay straight and cut smoothly over and over.

Used the ones that were freighted in and they bent and lost sharpness rather quickly. These work so well I can actually stay on the curve without too many swear words. However Bosch makes a variable pitch blade that is truly astounding. I used that one to cut a hole in 2" Sapele which is pretty hard and the finish was great and no chipping on either side of the cut. These will chip a bit in most woods. That is just the way they are. But for the cost, if you are not cutting something where the chipping would be a problem, these are great.

Hardened very nice. They last a long time. Even sawing through the hardest material. I used them through half inch bamboo. All my other blades bogged down. These ripped though like butter.

Great addition to my Leatherman Surge.
Good assortment of blades. Not a wide variety of lengths, but there are other sets available if length matters to you.
Great price for number of blades.
Make sure you are ok with the lengths of these. If not, go with something longer.
Highly recommended, especially if you are considering these for your Leatherman Surge.
Go to your local hardware store and get a pack of long utility blades that come in a plastic container. These fit perfectly in the container, which you can attach to the side of your Leatherman sheath.

I just bought a brand new Ryobi jigsaw (JS481LG) that came with one free blade. Once the cutting starts, the blade would shift to the left and make a diagonal cut, where my intention was to cut straight.
I was quite upset, and thought either I got a lemon, or I need to try a different brand.
On that same day, these Bosch blades arrived in the mail.
Tried them on, and wow, perfect cut, controllable, and smooth.
Highly recommend them.

I break enough blades for my Black & Decker jigsaws.. So the best solution is to have some extras on hand
to replace them when Ping.. goes the Blade. I'm now down 4 from this set from lots of Handy man projects.
