This light is awesome. I am in a slightly unique situation in which I just got a similar product as a reward from where I work. I was eager to go head to head with them in comparison. Please excuse the pun, but, this lamp "Outshines" the other one in almost every aspect.
First of all the quality. The light itself is quite sturdy. It looks well made. The strap itself feels very good. On my other lamp I have to question how long it is going to last. It is made of thin material With the Blitzu, however, it has a nice thick weave. It is also attractive. My wife says the purple squared pattern is cute. Even the logo itself looks like it is made out of a reflective material. Possibly a safety feature.
Second is the brightness. This thing is really bright. To compare with my other new lamp, theirs is quite dim in comparison. With it, you may be able to see where you are going. With the Blitzu, you can see what you are doing. I was quite impressed. And, if you are worried about it being too bright, it has different settings.
This brings me to the next aspect and that is functionality. Both lamps, I must say, have similar functionality. I will focus on what the Blitzu has. First of all, it has a tilt head axis. You can point the light from straight ahead or you can tilt it to some degree. The light itself has several modes. The first press is it's brightest setting, then two dimmer settings with each additional press of the button. If you hold the button down for a few seconds the red led with flash an SOS signal. Hold it down again and it will strobe red. Another unique feature is the battery indicator. It has another led on the lamp that will light up when the battery gets to 20%. This way you know you need to change them soon.
The only negative, in comparison, is that my other lamp came with AAA batteries. The Blitzu does not. You must supply your own. However, since it is not advertised as such, I can't really fault it for it.
All in all I am very impressed with this light. I can't wait to take it camping with me. It will be nice for evening walks, hands free, so I can hold hands with my wife.

A quick update, I took the light camping with me. It was awesome. Anytime I really needed to see, this was my go to light. It even seemed to outshine my bright lanterns. Love this light.

I got this LED Headlamp for my husband and he is enjoying using it. He runs a lot at night and even though we have streetlights, I still worry about him not always being seen. Now that he has and wears this headlamp, he can be seen from quite a distance. I'm surprised how bright this actually shines for being small. Said he doesn't even feel it on himself and it doesn't weigh much at all, even with the batteries. Has a strobe or an SOS mode which is easy to switch between them. He also used this to have light when he was taking the pipes apart under our kitchen sink last week. I wasn't available to hold a flashlight for him so he thought he would try this and said it worked very well for him to see under there. Definitely happy with this and looking to get both of my sons one for Christmas this year.

Great for kids! I bought the purple one for my daughter who is 8 to add to her day pack for hiking and she loves it, It fit great on her and she has a pretty big head, and the size can be adjusted so it's great for everyone (it can even fit on me). I love that it has four settings, High, Mid, Low and red led or SOS. It's nice for if were out during a full moon then you don't need quite as much light so you can use a lower level and not waste as much battery, because we all know how precious those are. This is a great addition to anyone's backpacking gear.

Another great thing about these are the variety of colors to choose from. If you've ever done camping with kids you know that they're always losing their lights and they'll just take someone else's because they all look the same and they have no idea who's it is, but with this I bought one more in blue for my son so we can keep them straight and this way we know what one we need to look for.

My kids LOVE to read in bed at night, but since they share a room, if one wants to sleep, the other has to also. This solves that problem. I received this headlamp at a discount in exchange for my honest review. My 5 year old is loving having his own headlamp so he can look at his super hero books while his older brother snoozes. It has 3 brightness settings (it starts at the brightest - though I wish it was reversed) and we have him keep it on the lowest while reading, and it still offers a nice light source. The headband is adjustable and comfortable, which makes sharing a lot easier. It does require 3 AAA batteries, so having extra on hand is a must if you're going to use it camping or in the wilderness. Overall, this is one of the nicest headlamps we've used!

This light is indeed a Wonderful product. First: I was a bit concerned about "comfort" since it appeared to not have any type of "padding" for the forehead; which indeed it does not, (Just in case I have some spare "rubber" padding in case I needed it, but I did not) as it turns out, it is NOT an issue. This headlamp is indeed Very comfortable to wear. Second, one review commented about the "Head-strap" not being attached and separate in the packaging, but the attachment of the head-strap was a "no-brainer", easy and quick. It is also quite "wide" so that it fits comfortably and securely on your head.

The "light output" is excellent, at least for my purposes which is working on my SUV or Harley within the garage. The ability to adjust the light intensity (Three Different Levels) is a definite "Plus" ~ The Harley has a lot of "Chrome", and adjusting the light intensity helps to cut down on "Glare", which I admit can be BLINDING at times! ...At night, on a road-side during a break-down, it will also be Excellent. Plenty of light to change a tire, look under the hood or anything else you might want. I can also attest this Head-light would be EXCELLENT for "Home Defense" purposes at night in the dark. I have tactical LED flash lights all over my home, for just this purpose, but after receiving this product, I want one for my bedside at night when I'm sleeping in the event of an intruder. Easy and Quick to put-on, AND, it leaves both hands free for OTHER things... you get my point, I'm sure... Some would say, "Hey, It Just Makes You A Target" ~ No; "Accuracy" is what is important in a "Gun Fight"! But I digress...

The light adjustment (degree of tilt angle) also is Excellent... just enough. Although I believe the description stated greater, the actual adjustment is closer to just around 45 degrees, I can't see why you would need more. But I supposed some might need more for some reason or another, the adjustment is just fine for my purposes.

The "Red" LED, it's Intensity and adjustments are also Excellent. At least Three (3) different modes. "Flashing", "SOS" and "Steady-On". I believe that there is also a "combination" of both "white" and "red" LED's on at the same time, which again is a plus.

My ONLY confusion about this Head-lamp is the "Low Battery Indicator". I was under the impression that it was in the "On-Off-Mode Selection" switch/button, but the question "forum" one person told me it was one the "left" (as you are wearing it) next to the "white" LED. ...as you look at the front of the light behind the lens, it appears to have Three (3) LEDS Horizontally across the unit. But apparently "one" of these is the actual "low-battery indicator. Which is fine, the description was just a little confusing to me, or possibly I just read it incorrectly...

Overall, I can't find ANYTHING wrong, with this Head-Light. It's an Excellent product as so many others have reviewed, well constructed, comfortable and a Excellent value. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase additional exact ones when I can. Since I am "retired" and have limited funds at any given time, I will obtain more when I can; one for the car and one for the bedroom. Bottom line; You can't go wrong with this product. Excellent Value, with Excellent shipping and delivery which again is just another "PLUS". Many too have described the excellent customer service. That remains to be seen, because I just don't have any problems with this product or expect to have any. I will indeed obtain additional units when I can.

Great quality, it's very well made, and the LED light is very bright. You can use it for many wear, you could wear when when you are riding the bike, or if you are working on something at night, and you don't need to hold your flashlight or ask other people to hold it for you while you are working. a small light yet very useful, I have been wanting to get a headlight and now here i got it. So I am so excited to try this at first i was having hard time figuring out how to put or where is the place the battery in. then slowly by slowly i got it then This strap that needs to be clipped trying to figure out how. I do not read instructions i just to it by my own like mind test lol. But anyway i did it I am showing you a video of that so you whoever watch my video will get it easily. After those 2 things, battery and strap now it is fun time ! So here I use it too excited i thought I put it over my head if this strap would be hard to adjust and nope for me it is easy. then turn on the light high low high low and this red light, i do not know but i only figure out one red light came out maybe that's just the way it is. but hey one red light works that's all it counts for me. I love the strap because it is smooth and adjustable. This is not so bright really like you expect like a bigger flashlights would give you but bright enough to see the distance that you want to see clearly. I am satisfied with this so i give 5 stars.

I have two dogs that I need to take out at night for a walk. If they see or smell something, it takes all my strength to hold them back. Because of this I have had to drop my flashlight several times to grab on to the leash with 2 hands. This Blitzu i2 - Brightest Headlamp Flashlight with Red LED Light is awesome. I put this on my head and turn it on and I can see quite away down the road. Now I have both hands free to wrangle my dogs in. What is also cool is the red light sos feature. The light gives me enough light to see in front me while not lighting up the entire area. The light is powered by 3 AAA batteries. The light is waterproof and strong enough to survive a 1.5m fall. Wow, this thing works great!! Bought it for those pesky dark corners at work, [I offload freight trucks and stock a department store before it opens, and they don't turn on all the lights]. It came in handy at home when we had to re-wire an electrical outlet under the kitchen sink. With main electricity shut off, and a small cabinet and my husband taking up all the room below, there was little area for me to shine a flashlight in above his head. I grabbed the Headlamp and tossed in down to him, problem solved! Now he wants one of his own!

Great headlight, fits well, easy to use and the light settings are perfect for my needs. Gets very bright! As wierd as this may sound I bought this to use for trimming my daughter's nails while she's sleeping. I can point it right on her hand or foot and not have to hold a flashlight and clippers at the same time. I also use it to polish my nails at night while we're watching TV and avoid having to turn on the bright living room lights to see what I'm doing. I probably look funny but it works great and I'm sure I'll find more uses for this head light.
