This is an update to my original review, which was negative because I received a defective product. However, BYB light immediately contacted me to resolve the issue. They sent me a good product, and I must say that I am satisfied with the light.
I realized that as long as the human element is present, some products are bound to fail. The new product that I received work very well, that little flashlight packs a punch! Infact, it is the brightest flashlight I've ever owned.
But even more impressive than the flashlight, I was amazed how fast BYB light addressed my concerns and respved the issue. That just shows that we are dealing with a company who stands behind their products and services... and that.to me..... Is an award in itself!

I received my Super bright LED flashlight on time. Wow is all I can say. This is the brightest and most powerful flashlight I have ever saw. It will turn a very dark room into what looks like a helicopter spot light. I bought 2 more for my mother and father. Very nice and bright light. Will buy more for birthday gifts.
The zoom feature is amazing. From a small super bright area, it will zoom out to a huge very bright area. It is very bright so please don't look into the light when its on. It does hurt.

Super strong flashlights are all the rage right now but most of the reviews I read indicate the # of lumens is way overstated. Based on the LED used and the amazing distance this flashlight reaches, I have to believe it is as bright as claimed. Compact, sturdy, bright, adjustable beam width, and inexpensive. What more can you ask for?

When I purchased this flashlight, I read the reviews for this flashlight, and many others like it; many costing much more than this one. I figured the low price was worth the gamble. The flashlight arrived in the time estimated.
I am a correctional officer, so having a good reliable flashlight is important to have on hand. The one I purchased from a local tactical store just wasn't cutting it when it came to reliability, or brightness. I found myself smacking the thing to make it work. The day I got this, I charged the 18650 right away, and once it was charged, threw it in the flashlight. Neither the charger nor the battery got hot during the charging. The battery fits well in the flashlight... it doesn't rattle inside, and when I need to get the battery out, I just unscrew the back end, tilt it back, and the battery falls out. Everything fits together fine. I don’t use the special strobe effects on it, so I can’t comment on my thought on selecting those features, I just click the thing normally and the light comes on and off as needed.
The flashlight is nice and heavy. It feels well put together, performs well, and fits great in my hand. The light if very bright and white. Unlike my previous flashlight, it’s always worked when I needed it.
I have never used the AAA adapter. It’s still in the box on my dresser.

I'm pleased to announce that after a case of shells, the flashlight still works great. I want expecting it to fail, but I'm happy that it stood up to the shock.

Great flashlight. I live in the woods. Had my dog out the other night with the flashlight unzoomed saw a pair of eyes coming toward us in the outer edge of the lit area. Really wide in this position. I zoomed in on the eyes to see a raccoon. When I got to full zoom the raccoon actually froze, I actually treed it as it tried to retreat by keeping beam on it.

This is an awesome flashlight. It's really well made and high quality. My favorite part about this light is that it comes with a rechargeable battery, I think all devices these days should have one. But it also comes with a secondary insert which holds AAA batteries as well.
I love that it came with a little flashlight keychain, and it's solar powered. That's pretty neat! The light has a few modes, you just lightly press in the button to change modes. A full press turns it on/off. It has a few dimmer modes, and two strobe modes. This light is very bright and I love that it has an adjustable lens. Great for working in dark places. I do maintenance and under sinks and stuff a lot so have a wide lens is nice, I can just sit the flashlight down and have a nice working light.
The battery charger works good, just make sure the positive is at the top of the charger, near the charging light. Overall very satisfied with this light, strong, durable, bright, portable, adjustable zoom. Can't beat it. I would definitely recommend this light! Great buy.

Being a camper and hiker I really appreciate good, solid, bright flashlights. When you are out, in the middle of the woods, you need to know your flashlight is going to be dependable. This BYB 800 Lumens Cree T6 LED Flashlight is pretty impressive. Flashlight. Flashlight comes with light, rechargeable battery, charger, battery adapter, and a bonus solar power keychain flashlight. It is made from durable aluminum and is a solid, heavy duty light. The included high capacity 26650 lithium-ion battery is rechargeable, so you never need to buy batteries. However, there is also an adapter, if you prefer to use a standard AAA battery. The light itself is a XM-L T6 Cree LED light with 800 Lumens. Flashlight has an adjustable focus zoom lens to switch from widespread coverage to narrow beam. There is a lanyard connected to flashlight for easy carrying. The mini keychain is solar powered and hooks right on your keychain.
I am always skeptical when getting a new flashlight, since I have had some that have really disappointed and some that are amazing. I do have a similar flashlight that is 1000 lumens that I compared the brightness to. Surprisingly, this 800 lumens is much brighter, and lights a larger area than the 1000 lumens one that I have. I mean this is a seriously bright light! I also love all the extra functions of this light. There are 5 modes (high, medium, and low beam as well as strobe and SOS signaling features). Honestly, I was frustrated as I couldn't figure out how to change the modes, and realized you just have to tap the on/off button, not push it all the way down. My favorite part about this light, other than how bright it is, is the adjustable focus. This makes the light really versatile. You can use it long-distance as a super bright light or light up a large area as a flood light. Makes it perfect for camping; we can use it for hikes to get a bright light on path, or in the tent to light up the entire tent. For the price of this flashlight, you won't find anything that even comes close. I would definitely put this around the same quality, brightness, and durability of lights 3 times the cost. Awesome flashlight, I even love the little key chain one. It has come in really handy more than a few times.

This is a seriously bright flashlight. I do not have a way to verify that it is actually 800 lumens, but I can say that it is the brightest flashlight I have ever used! When I used it at night it was as bright as daylight, and during the day the light is still very visible. I can even see the light during the day when it is pointed at my light in the house.
The light’s beam is focusable with a cool sliding mechanism – the lens of the light is able to be slid in an out. When it is all the way in it illuminates a very large area, and when you slide it all the way out it focuses the beam into an extremely bright square.
This flashlight comes with great extras – a 26650 lithium-ion battery, a charger which charges the included lithium-ion battery as well as any lithium-ion battery (it is universal and the contact slides to fit the battery), as well as a solar powered LED keychain light. The battery charger is awesome – I had actually recently bought a lithium-ion battery charger which cost a few dollars, but the charger that is included with this flashlight works much better than the one I purchased elsewhere. The included charger has a LED indicator which turns red when the battery is charging and green when it is completely charged. It also comes with a battery holder which allows you to fill the flashlight with AAA batteries. I have not tried the flashlight with AAA batteries because the rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are much better and save money.
The flashlight itself is built very well with all aluminum outside. The sliding mechanism feels very solid and holds the adjustment, yet it is still easy to slide. The power button on the back is rubberized, and the same button which is used to turn the light on and off is used to change the mode (high brightness, medium brightness, low brightness, strobe, SOS flash). When you press the button fully it turns the light on/off, and when you depress the button halfway it changes the mode. The light does not have a memory of the mode when turned off then on again; when the flashlight is turned on the mode is reset to high brightness.
When I took the flashlight out of the box I tried it before charging the battery, and while the light turned on, changing the mode was difficult and took a few seconds. I put the battery on the charger, and it took around 8 hours for it to fully charge – after the battery charged I tried again and the light was much brighter and changing modes was very easy. So, if you are having a problem with a delay in changing modes make sure you have charged the battery!

I saw this flashlight on a lightening deal and bought it for my husband. He uses headlamps and flashlights a lot for various outdoor activities and projects and always wants a reliable product. He is very impressed by this flashlight and this company because of how nicely it came packed and the versatility of the flashlight. One of our sons saw his dad's new flashlight and immediately checked out the brightness and functions. Then he asked me to get him one too. So far I have purchased 6 of these for our kids, daughter';s boyfriend, and my husband. All the men are very happy with this bright light and impressed with the charger and large battery.
As the main purchaser for our family, I am impressed with the company who sells this product. I have ordered a couple of different headlamps from other sellers recently that my husband wanted to try and each of those items either arrived broken or missing parts. One seller was great and replaced the item immediately, the other seller sent the parts but only after I applied for a refund.
So when this order came intact and complete I was really happy.
Other vendors are selling this item without batteries and without a charger - to me why bother, this is the whole package that comes ready to charge and use.
Also, ours came with a bonus keychain flashlight that has a rechargeable solar panel. The ladies in the family grabbed up those and the guys got their flashlights to play with.

This flashlight is awesome! It is the brightest one I have ever owned. I mean this thing is bright! And it has a zoom feature which is really cool also. As you can see in the pictures, the difference with the zoom. It also has 2 different strobe features just by lightly clicking the power button and also a dimmer. I think this is the coolest flashlight I have ever had. Being prior military that is actually saying a lot. I have had all sorts of flashlights but this one takes the cake! Best by far!
