- Ring is flexible, bendable and easy to wash and re-use
The Green Self-Centered Hex-Logic Light Cut Heavy Polish, Minor Scratch and Swirl Remover Pad is tough enough to remove swirls and scuffs while at the same time producing a high gloss swirl free finish. This foam pad is ideal for applying one-step cleaner waxes . It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application. This pad features PUR+ (Poly-Urethane-Reactive Bonding). This pad has the most durable and resistant backing plate, it is soft and gentle to paint. The PUR+ backing plates can be washed hundreds of times guaranteeing a perfect grip with every use that is PUR+ technology. This pad also features Hexagon technology, also known as Hex-Logic. Hex-Logic pads are designed to hold product and distribute it evenly over the surface of the pad delivering a superior even finish that is hard to achieve with any other pad. The unique construction of the pads makes them extremely easy to maneuver while distributing the product evenly on the surface. The Hex-Logic pads keep the product in the groves while you start and as the pad is spun and rubbed against the surface, the polish will travel through the hex-groves into the pad, evenly delivering a superior accurate finish. The surface is constantly lubricated which reduces friction and marring. The unique hex laser cut surface of the pad enables Hex-Logic pads to conform to the shape of the surface delivering maximum surface contact. The Hexagon construction forms perfectly to a vehicle's many curves while the unique pad construction reduces unnecessary heat. The self-centered pads are uniquely sized to 6.5 inches making them perfect for big or small jobs. These pads have a "V" like construction so the face of the pad is wider than the backing, offering a one inch foam protector that assures no matter how hard you push, you will never hit the backing of the plate against the surface.

Using these pads along with a Flex buffer and Meguiers Cutting Compound and Polish helped me remove all of the annoying swirl marks from my 2013 black Porsche Carrera S. The marks were originally caused by the inept detail crew at the dealership.

Bought these to use with my 7424xp and have been very happy with the results. Speed selection is important but you also must make sure to use a spray lube with it to prevent it from heating up & coming apart. I have been using Chemical Guys pad conditioner & clay luber with good results. Was able to do some major paint corrections & the pad is still in great condition.

Prior to this foam pad, I was using a MF polishing pad to polish after using the MF cutting pad. All I have to say is WOO! What a night a day difference between the two pads. I highly recommend this pad to you all and hope u see the results I have.
I will note that the edges of the pad seem to show early signs of damage. What I also notice was that when placing the compound on this pad, you would need to spread it on all angles of this pad. The edges were wearing out because they did not have enough compound on them and I typically only ever place 5 dots (4 in the corners and one in the middle). After place smaller dots on the very corners of the pad? I only then noticed that the pad wasn't wearing off at all anymore. Just my two cents. I also took someone's advice and used speed 4. After completing the entire car, the pad was as good as new.

I have been detailing cars for 20 years.
I am not a professional but I have done it for myself, my friends and family.
My tool of choice is a Porter Cable 7424xp
I have tried many different pad/polish combinations and I really like these pads with Megs 105/205 combo.
Meguiar's M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound - 32 oz.
Meguiar's M205 Mirror Glaze Ultra Finishing Polish - 32 oz.
They are not very aggressive, but if used with an aggressive compound can do a great job with removing swirls
These have held up after 2 detail jobs of mid size sedans.
I am happy with the product. Chemical guys is a great brand and I will buy again.
Highly reccomended

This does what it is supposed to do. Along with the Meguire's 105, followed by a white pad loaded with 205 powered by a Porter Cable 7424 XP, this combination will really bring back your paint. It sure worked on my dark, hunter green paint that is 11 years old!

HEX LOGIC are some of the best foam pads on the market today. If you are new to DA polishing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these pads (of all the varying degrees of cut). I have almost all of the different levels and colors of pads that Chemical Guys offers with their HEX LOGIC pads. I really like these pads. They are some of the best foam pads out there and reasonably priced. The only foam pads comparable in my opinion to these pads are NANOSKIN FOAM PADS which I also really like. All the HEX LOGIC pads are very well made and DURABLE. They hold up well under extended use and they really work well on your clear coat paint finishes. Chemical Guys really has some nice pads here. I like the Orange, Green, and White, and Gray/Black hex logic pads. If you are using a DA polisher, these are an absolute MUST. The hex design allows the polish to collect in the hexagonal crevices which allows you to continue polishing for a long long time, almost infinite until you obtain the level of defect removal that you are looking for. If you are a novice or a pro, you really can't go wrong with these pads. I would highly recommend these pads to the new weekend enthusiast 'home detailer" or "weekend warrior" cleaning your vehicles at home in the garage or driveway.

1. I have not had any trouble with the backing coming loose and I routinely forget about them in my soak bucket for 2-3 days.
2. While the Hex Logic pads are more expensive than flat pads I do think you can work over about twice as much area than a regular flat pad, so if you would normally use 4 pads to do a full vehicle, probably 2 Hex Logic would be enough.
3. I don't see a difference between the yellow and orange pads. If you're using the Chemical Guys 4 pack sampler (V32-V38) which works great I used yellow with V32, green with V34, blue with V36, and black with V38.
4. The only pad I definitely would not recommend is the white pad because it's hard to tell when it's saturated and you should switch to a new pad. I changed to a blue pad and thought it worked better.

These and the orange version are my go-to pads for keeping my farm equipment and trucks looking good. These along with chemical guys V32 and V36 make quick work for taking out medium depth scratches and bringing the finish up to a mirror like shine. My 1st project with these were to revive my 07 chevy pickup after years of drive through car washes. The before and after is unbelieveable! Only touchless or microfiber hand wash for me now. The really nice feature of chemical guys products is the water based formula and the amount used versus conventional buffing. No more slinging product all over the vehicle and no more trying to figure out how to get the white residue off course plastic pieces and hood screens.

Bought these Green Pads to use with my PC 7424XP and Rupes 21. Like other reviews mentioned, using the right speed on the buffers will help these pads last longer. I use speed setting 5 on both of the buffers. It is a good idea to either prime the pad with product before using it on dry paint, or applying the 3-5 dabs of polish and giving the pad one spray of water, luber or pad conditioner before you start. I typically have my pad washer with me and I clean the pad after polishing each panel. I have had the same pad for 6 months and it still looks new!

Nice buffing pads. Got these as an alternative to my 3M buffing pads. I got the HF DA polisher and the 6 inch pad fits nicely. The 5.5 inch pads are a little small, but will still work with the hook and loop system. Application to the pad of sealant/wax works well and after about two rounds of buffing, the pads soak in, but will continue with application of the product. These cleaned up well in the sink with dishwashing liquid and there was no sign of wear or hook and loop separation after sealing and waxing of 3 vehicles.
