Fit perfectly in my 13 chevy traverse. I was able to remove the factory old style 12v socket and install these in their place. I didnt have to lightly sand the hole to enlarge it very slightly and they fit in nice and tight. Cut the old connectors off and used the supplied connectors. Looks like it was installed by the factory

This USB receptacle replaced my cigarette lighter. I simply disconnected the lighter, clipped the wires, clamped them into the wire nuts provided and boom my '03 Ford is rocking today's tech. There is a blue light that is on constantly if you wire it to the cigarette lighter but you can also wire it to the ignition if you want. It doesn't draw much battery when not in use so it's not an issue.
There's 2 ports, the top is a normal port and the bottom port is like a turbo charger for your cell phone. It's easy to install, looks great and fits perfectly. It is the size of a stadard 12v cigarette lighter so no cutting is needed. The only tools I used were a socket set (to pull my panel off), and a Gerber to cut the wires and clamp them in the nuts. It took 10 mins total. I am thinking of doing my wife's car and I have friends buying them to have me install it for them. This really is a great buy. There are cheaper options but after reading this one's reviews not many people have issues. I highly recommend this to everyone who is interested in replacing their cigarette lighter.

Works great . Much better than expected . Charge is fast . Looks like OEM standard port .
No mod needed ... I installed with an 4.5 inline fuse just as an extra safety
Yes blue light stay on if your car charging port is designed like that but the draw from the batt is so mimimal the several weeks will be needed to discharge the batt .
I installed 2 and after 1 week without using the car batt was like nothing was conected .
Great product so far

Purchased to install on my Piaggio MP3/250 Maxi-Scooter. The Blue LED looks very nice... I will see overtime how it holds up to the weather. The hole is standard to other products on the market, so if you have an old Cig Adapter, you can replace with one of these.

I wanted to be able to charge our devices when dry camping and this was the perfect modification.
To install, I just tapped into the 15amp 12v line that fed our under-cabinet LED lights. RV cabinet panels are thin plywood, so I just drilled out the basic rectangle, then shaved the plywood with a sharp knife until the unit would snap in snuggly. Inside, I cut the lines between the fuse panel and the LED switch and added 1/4" female tab connectors. Took 15 minutes. The trick is to find 12v power behind a thin panel. This would not work well going through anything thicker than 1/8" because the design is to snap in place.

Chose this for motorcycle application. Fit perfectly into my dash panel. Locking ring on back side to secure to your selected mount point. Connected easily with spade connectors (even came with two female terminal ends) and are clearly marked positive / negative. Nice soft blue light around ports. Weather cap fits snugly so should perform well. Tested operation finding both ports work as expected. Buy it! You'll be happy!

We updated the electrical system in our sailboat by adding these USB outlets. After looking at several ads from other vendors we found these to be the best price, and delivery was promised to be quick, and it was better than promised. They even light up so we can plug in without putting on a light to find it!

I installed this in the blank spot on my 2016 Zero S. The product certainly seems well made. It's light and the nut screws on & off the threads with no problems whatsoever. It comes with some blade terminals that are sized to match the terminals on the back and it's a simple matter of crimping them down onto your wires.
The threaded portion was ever so slightly larger than the hole in my dash, so I took half of them off with a grinding wheel. Even after my manhandling the product, it looks and works great. The blue LED is great for knowing the socket it powered up. And with the rubber plug in place, the blue light doesn't leak out at all.

Every easy to install, took just few minutes and a Dremel tool to create a sufficient sized hole. The wiring is very easy to figure out (only two prongs sticking out of the outlet). There is a polarity, but it's clearly marked and also there's a color difference to distinguish as well. There is a blue LED in the white portion, and it provides a soft illumination. I ended up just removing the rubber cap since this outlet was installed in the center consol of my car and I didn't need the weather protection factor. So far, it's doing a great job charging an iPad and iPhone. Nothing has melted, no fuses have been tripped, and everything and every body is happy.

Installed in a 1993 RRC - Removed the cigar lighter, needed a little work with the Dremel to open the hole and it fitted straight in.
I kept the flexible cover on as at night, the blue light is rather bright.
