I have used these drill bits for a very long time under very heavy use and they are still sharp. These destroy everything they drill through. I originally bought them to go with my cordless drill and have been endlessly impressed with them. The set features a good assortment and amazon offers a price lower than home improvement stores. One of my favorite features is the case. Having drill bits that last so long usually means the case will fall apart before they are done. I have owned craftsman drill bits in the past and the "hinge" of the case always breaks apart after opening and closing so many times. This case is extra heavy duty and hasn't failed me yet. I highly recommend the set as a whole.

"Works good". I live in a high rise apartment with very strong brick masonry walls & steel brackets on windows. I have used earlier regular drill bits which did not work well. These bits went in like honey. Go for it. Other regular metal bits gave me problem but this one was good as it has pointed front which is helpful in getting the drill started which is useful.

I am doing kitchen renovation where we removed a load bearing wall and added steel I beam to hold ceiling. We needed to drill holes for heavy duty screws and drill bits did the job. Good bits and I definitely recommend this to everyone.

hello,
dewalt is a brand name that always has quality stuff. some of my old drill bits were a quite worn and needed replacing. rather than use a drill bit sharpener, for the price, it was much easier to get these titanium drill bits than to resharpen them. the others are garage sale items for sure. unless i fire up the drill bit sharpener and resurrect them. these titanium seem a little sharper and drill faster through various items than my old standard high speed drill bits. i have used titanium and cobalt drills to much success and will continue to use this brand. great product and quality service.

We use these bits in our home repair business and are pleased with the quality vs price. We have used a set for up too three years.

Used this to drill pilot holes into my drywall to mount a TV. The box is surprisingly small, I will be adding pictures later. The thing held up well and the case looks very durable. I put this into my tool box with tons to spare. However the drill bits look tough and I'm sure I'll be using these later for more purposes.

I had a black oxide drill set I had been using for a little while. I’m apparently no Bob Vila and found myself with quite a few broken bits. Basically everything smaller than ¼” was ruined. Usually on metal that I was drilling into. I guess I put too much pressure on the bit? Not really sure. Most of them broke as soon as it passed thru the metal and sheared off if it ever got a little misaligned with the grooves in them.
So I really wanted a ‘buy it for life’ type product. I hate buying something that should be durable and have it consumed in a short amount of time. Yes, this product is more expensive than the black oxide bits but what you are buying is TITANIUM and peace of mind that these are of a higher quality than other cheaper options. You definitely get what you pay for with drill bits and I haven’t had a single one of these break on me with no change in my drill or substrate. I had to assemble a dog kennel and it required drilling into steel alloy pipe and these things worked like a charm. I then had to install a storm door and the aluminum was no match for these titanium bits. I’m quite confident I would have broken the other set (if they weren’t already broken) during the installation which would have required another visit to home depot for a simple home improvement project.
Do yourself a favor and buy the better quality bits. Even if you only use them once in a blue moon you will save yourself money in the long run by not having to replace them right away

Took me way to long to break down and buy a set of drill bits. Glad I did, and so is my neighbor. Matter of fact my other neighbor used mine before I got a chance to. He said he was amazed how these bits seemed to cut through the stuff he was drilling into. I later found the same to be true when I did like men do and invented some project just to use them. Just holding them in your hand you can see and feel they are quality but using them is obviously where they truly shine, so get your drill out and poke some holes in something and don't blame me when you poke them in the wrong thing.
