The bits are of high quality. Should last a very long time. And the 1-star reviewers who complain about the case don't understand how to reinserts bits back in the case. Don't push them in from the top down. Slide a bit back into it's round receptacle from the end of the receptacle.

It’s difficult for me to say I “love” a product like this, but I do: it has a great variety of bits with some redundancy for when you lose one or inevitably bend it on a stubborn screw, I like the Phillips and regular extension bits for the tighter places, and you can never have enough reversible bits when you’re walking around the house doing general repairs. Looking at other reviews I guess I am one of the few who likes the case as it keeps them all organized and compact vs. laying around on a countertop in your shop, and the smaller size means you can quickly grab it and go: I keep a set in my truck as well as in the house.
One thing I do with these Dewalt containers in order to tell the screw sets differentiated from the drill bit set (sold separately): grab a Sharpie and write “Screws” on both sides, as I can’t tell you how many times I’ve grabbed the drill bit set when I meant to grab the screws and vice versa.
I picked these up during an Amazon sale for less than $16, and as I type up this review they are listed at $18.22; it’s still a great deal as the same set is $29 at my local Home Depot.

I am I new power drill owner and I was in desperate need of a screw driving set. This set was the perfect match for my needs.
It is very easy to use and should be compatible with any power drill. The bits seem to be holding up just fine through some decent use. I love the magnetic extender. Perfect to get into small places and to hold screws/bits while you are working!
Regarding the case: it is harder than expected to get the pieces in and out, but I don't find it as difficult as some of the other reviewers. If you slide the pieces in from the side, instead of trying to snap them in like you are used to, it works just fine.
Excellent product, exactly as advertised. Worth a buy if you are looking for a nice, cost-effective, starter kit like myself!

Dewalt has pulled through again and done a great job with the variety of bits in a small yet effective package. This bit kit includes all of the essentials including a long screw driver, double ended bits, square drive, torx (star) bits, phillips, and standard bits. It is a great kit for a tool box or kitchen drawer.

All the tips you could ask for with a really well made extension tip for the smaller heads. You basically get all the standard sizes in medium lengths for directly inserting into your drill then the same heads pluss many more specific sizes in small head to use on the previously mentioned extension piece for the small hsads.
Case is sturdy compact and impressively organized with a slide lock. After the first 2 or 3 uses you'll no right where your perfect head is for the job. Also instead of the standard hard plastic clasps to hold pieces in place you get a soft rubber with Dewalt that hugs it in the middle then slides in the slot. In other words. No snapping off plastic clasps leaving the heads loose in the case.
All the heads for basically any job and sized well enough that they don't wear out or strip the bit head or screw head easily.

I purchased this Dewalt 45 piece screwdriver set for my husband. It was a great price so I couldn't pass it up and what man couldn't use more tools? This set includes phillips, sqaure, slotted and double-ended bits. The case is very nice and durable. We found when putting the bits back into their slot it was much easier to slide them in from the top or bottom than pushing them back in.

I really love these. LOts of bits..Thank you Dewalt and Amazon for selling such a complete kit thats inexpensive and great quality. I doubt i will need anymore screw diver bits for my work on my home.(not yet anyway). This is perfectly what i need to put my gutters back on house.I have a Dewalt drill so all should work just fine. i have used a couple of screw bits in my drill already for something else did great. no stripping the bit at all. the 1/4 adapter is perfect makes stuff go straight and true.all in all you cant beat the price and quality these bit have.I also used these bits in my magnetic screw driver(not dewalt) ....Theses bit go perfectly for that to.(thats a plus) cause all my older screw bits (not dewalt) are rusted and stripped.i would recommend this to my friends!!!!!!!!. One Con.....the case well its hard to put you bits back in. but if you take out the holder and smnash down the middle section of where the bit sits it will work better.

As an avid and by necessity (read that as I don't always have money to hire professionals) household handy person, I am always looking for ways to organize and keep my tools ready and neat. This set suits my amateur status needs very well. It has a very broad assortment of bits all marked with their sizes and they are conveniently corralled in this compact little case! I love them! I intend to purchase the the drill bit set too. My only suggestion I wish the case had a little handle attached or integrated into the case.

Great screwdriver set to keep near your cordless drill. I have used this set more than any of my other tools and always find myself grabbing this set when I have work to do. The tips are very high quality and they have stood up very well to a lot of use and abuse. The set contains a wide varity of tips and has almost everything you will ever need.
The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is that the case is very hard to open. The locking device is a sliding piece of plastic which if is slightly out of alignment will not open and if your hands are cold or wet you will struggle to open it.

This is a nifty little case with lots of driver bits. I bought a power driver so needed some bits. Bought this one based on reviews and am not disappointed. This is a terrific value.
Pros: Lots of bits, in all shapes and sizes. Lots of useful attachments and extenders. Well made and extremely durable case. Slots hold bits securely. Case fits in the bag with my cordless driver, so its like having dozens of screw drivers handy at all times.
Cons: Will let you know if I find any as I use the bits, but so far very, very happy.
