Like all of DeWalt Products, this is an excellent Set. I am especially happy about the magnetic screw holder. I can put any screw on it and know that it will hold until the screw gets a firm bite on wood. It is so powerful, that it virtually eliminates any wobble or wiggle when trying to get the screw started. Excellent product!

Originally bought this for close quarters. Needed something longer than a tip-bit and just short of a tip+extension. For the assortment of common use bits, designed for impact driving, I can say I am happy choosing black and yellow over shocking red. Though used for home use; I drive drywall, wood, sheet metal, and masonry screws with the same PH2 tip. AND I do mean the same tip as the one single bit I generally use and still use from this set shows barely any signs of wear and only a little of the paint coming off. They seem to be hardened just right as I sometimes flip the heads off masonry screws. The design does not fit EVERY corresponding screw head, but it does fit 90% of what I put it at. I used to have problems driving stainless screws where the head would round out, but this PH2 design fits snugly even in slightly rounded heads.

The clamshell case is standard and holders can be custom swapped between other sets that use the same case. The holders are sufficient in design. I mean, come on... How many times are you going to change tips? Most of the time you may leave it in the extension, or keep the 2" bits in the driver. If you are going to do frequent tip changes, then drop it on the nut drivers and switch between tips.The magnets are VERY strong and nothing will shake loose. Again I'm using these for DIY, I'm not contracted, but I have driven hundreds of screws on the same single tip-bit.

Would I buy this again? The real question is: Would I need to buy again?

UPDATE: Two of the flat/slotted bits have broken. However, I applied them to a screw head (#3) larger than intended (#2). No stars removed as the third bit drove the screw. some twisting was noticed, but that is due to the slack.

No complaints. Some reviewers say the bits are hard to put back in their place in the box...that's nonsense. When you insert them, you have to tilt them slightly and then they snap into place. I've owned a lot of bit sets where the bits eventually fall out while the box is moved around at a jobsite and in my truck. These bits stay firmly in place. I like that feature a lot. The bits themselves are good quality and work great. The magnetic collar fits around any of the bits so it is versatile and holds a fastener firmly in place. My only wish is for the sliding tube Dewalt has on some of their other bit holders that keeps the fastener from falling to the side when starting and still have the magnet to prevent dropping the fastener. I'm still fine with this one as it is compact and does the job. Overall, great product and packaging. I would buy it again.

I have used a number of these screw driver bits with a DCF886 impact driver and love how well the bits hold onto the screws. The magnetic screw holder makes screws almost drop proof when trying to drive them. This kit has a large variety of bits as well as a couple of nut driver sockets.

I use these in conjunction with a Rigid impact driver. These tools are worth the money. I have probably used about 75% of the bits in this kit and they have not rounded or broken. I also love the screw "helper" attachment that comes with this kit. The magnet helps secure the screw so that u can drive with one hand. This is a very well thought out kit with great bits.

This set is great! I have used quite a few of the pieces from it already and haven't had any problems with it. All of the bits seem well made, and didn't get messed up when used. I absolutely love the magnetic screw holder thing! It's so great! I had to put together 2 desks for work and it made my life so much easier! Definitely worth the price just for that piece.

I have other Dewalt bit sets and I have had very good performance and product reliability without any issues at all with bits not holding up to the job at hand. I only put this set to work today but every bit I used out of it worked perfect and showed little if any ware at all. Lets face it you can damage any tool at any time and I have had bit sets by other manufactures that did not hold up half as well as Dewalt products.
In the end I have found Dewalt tools to be a quality product at a fair price and hold up for years...

This Dewalt set has a great selection of options to use with my drill. The set is great for someone who needs a set to complete jobs around the house. They are strong & I like the magnetic features. This makes them much easier to use with my drill. I would buy this item again.

Got a set of these with the 20v impact driver, just to have some bits to keep with it, and they are great. I have found myself borrowing them to use with other tools. Not sure why, but I like the skinny part of the longer bits. Perform great. Driven probably 1000 T25 screws since i got them, and the bit is still great, doesn't slip, and shows minimal signs of wear. The magentic piece that holds the screws is a great idea, but I didn't care much for it.
