My first impression of this headlamp (I own one and bought this one for my dad) was that it was amazingly bright. I mean so bright, I could not shut up about how bright it was the first night hiking back to camp. The illumination distance and width is ridiculously LARGE. My second impression, the second night in use, was "What the heck? The batteries are dead already"? So then I hated this lamp. Luckily my walkie-talkie had one LED on it and I made it back to camp(keep in mind there were no lights or people for many miles). Well, I love this lamp again. Why? you might ask. Well let me tell you. The batteries are removable (very easily) and are rechargeable, so during the day I have them recharging on a portable/backpack-able solar panel. Additionally I have 3 sets of spare batteries in case the sun doesn't cooperate. So I'm totally great for about 5 and half days of very heavy use even if there is no sun. Having sun means I have perpetual, very bright light every night. I highly recommend this as long as you order some spare batteries. The spares were $3.37 per pair. (Edit due to spelling errors)

Extremely impressed so far. This is one of the best buys I've found in lighting. Period. Hands down.
Of all the things I have reviewed, this would be the first 6 stars...

So there are some pretty good reviews on here of the light. Check them out if you want specs, or breakdowns on functions.
I'm going to focus just on the light by comparing to give you an idea of how this stacks up vs other well known lights.

5 Modes CREE XM-L T6 LED Bright 2000 Lumens Adjustable Focus Flashlight Torch Lamp Torch - (alleged 2000 lumens... Probably not, but still a very nice light) 10-20$$

Stanley LEDLIS 10W Lithium Ion LED Rechargeable Spotlight -
Also 2000 lumens. (a legit 2000) and A VERY nice light. 50$+

Energizer Brilliant Beam Headlamp - 135 lumens. Less than 10$
Simple, small, but a cute little headlamp.

And this one.
InnoGear® 5000 Lumen Bright Headlight Headlamp

That's all my review will cover since there are some pretty fantastic ones you can check out for additional specs!

I wouldn't say it's 5000 lumens. 2200 perhaps. This is just based on experience. I may be wrong.

*some notes - all of my other lights are in good working order, but are very WELL TESTED. I use my Stanley light every night, and have for years. (I work outside at nights)
I run with my tiny headlamp
and My cree adjustable torch is my go to light around the house.
All batteries are charged but these are not new.
This headlamp was straight out of the box.
As far as I can tell though, they still work like they day I bought them. Only their run time has diminished (slightly)

*All of these lights I've rated at 5 stars
(this is based on their purpose, function and price)

*Lights shown on camera aren't always as impressive as they are in person. Cameras tend to react very poorly to bright lights, so be aware of that if you already weren't. That's why I tried to show them together, and not just one at a time.
In my opinion, this 5000 lumen headlamp was the affected the worst from this.

*Lights were projected onto a wall 14 feet away.

The winner?

The headlamp is a bit bulky, but that's what you get with thousands of lumens.
I love the memory feature (Turns on where you left it)
It's priced right, well made, and seems solid. as of right now, I stand by my 6 stars.

The stanley Does compare, however, it doesn't win.
It's a Large, simple, spot light. It's also twice the price, and lacks the features.
It also dies very quickly where the headlamp is rated for 5-10x the running time (I've yet to run this headlamp down personally)

I'm gonna go lie down because that strobe setting (from the headlamp) really did make me want to puke.

No seriously. I feel like crap now, it's that bright.

I have purchased small headlamps for my son who likes to ride his bike when it's near dark and for my husband who is an avid outdoors man. They were OK. They do the job on a small scale. But this one by InnoGear blows the little ones away. This headlamp comes with a USB charger and a wall charger. It is quite big and a bit bulky because the batteries are large. The area on the back where the batteries are houses is a block and it is a bit large. However, for the results, it's worth a little extra bulk.

The straps are adjustable and comfortable on the head. There is a middle and two side lights and you can light just the middle, just the sides, both the side and middle lights, and also make them flicker for safety or to let someone know you are in need of help.

And BOY is that light bright. Even the lowest of the lights is very bright. Oh, before I forget, It's very important that, before you do anything, you remove the batteries and take off the plastic sealing them then replace them intp the battery area. If you don't do that, the lamp can't charge and you will be disappointed.

Once you do that and charge the lamp, you're ready to go for around 6-8 hours depending on which level of lighting you use. Things I like are that the charging cable turns green when the batteries are fully charged and the simplicity of switching modes. Just a quick touch of a button will cycle through them.

My husband likes this headlamp and says that it is way brighter than the others. Oddly, it is missing a red light which all the others have. But the flickering light will catch anyone's attention so it's all good. The lamp is a tad bulky but not very heavy. I had it on my head and, while I knew it was there, it didn't cause any issues and didn't feel uncomfortable. My husband did say he wished it were not as bulky in the back but that is where the batteries are housed and they're pretty large.

As far as functionality goes, this lamp is reliable and so bright. I don't know if it is 5000 Lumen but it you cab't even look toward the light without feeling blinded. It throws light a long way too and it's a wide beam. This will come in very handy when my husband goes up north fishing and hunting alone. There is nothing up there but nature and he needs the strongest light to keep him on track. Along with lanterns and flashlights, this InnoGear Headlamp will help keep my husband safe by making sure he sees where he is going and what is coming toward him. Bears have been known to come right near his tent many times and they are't the friendly type. Although it would be nicer if the battery pack were slimmer, I am still going with 5 stars because the headlamp is so functional and bright and it throws that light a long way.

I received this headlamp in exchange for my honest feedback and review. I asked my husband his opinions since he is the guy who uses these things the most. I am not affiliated with the seller and was not commentated for this review. I honestly think this is an amazing headlamp and, if the slight bulk isn't a big issue for you, you will be amazed at how bright it is.

So my husband was looking for a light for his bicycle helmet. He wanted something so bright that no one could mistake him for not being there. He rides to work on a busy dark road with idiots for drivers and there's not a bicycle lane. He has nearly been hit multiple times every day, and the ride is scary.

The first concern was fitting it over and attaching it to the helmet; with adhesive velcro, it worked.

Secondly, how bright it would actually be. He said after his first ride, which is the day I am writing this review he said he could see better, and not one car even got close to hitting him on a 11 mile bicycle ride.

He said it's the best light he had invested in for his bike.
We turned it on in our home in the dark and it was crazy bright! I'm just glad he is safe!!! We'd buy this again!!

Wow the best head lamp I've use ever!!!! Right out the box I used for 6 plus hrs and didn't even need to charge it and bright is an understatement lol its a light house light lol the box for the batteries on the back side of the band is a Lil big but not uncomfortable at all and has a charge light on it the tips of the lights and backs as well are metal with a middle plastic body and the adjustment of the light up or down is solid and the band on the head is fully adjustable as well i even accidentally dropped it onto the concrete from onto of my truck and it didn't even take damage I'm over pleased with this light the first night using it and I highly recommend it to anyone who works or plays in the dark and needs hands free light

Awesome , awesome, awesome. I have trouble seeing my trace lines when cutting on my bandsaw. This tool lights up the table and item so bright that I no longer have any excuse for not cutting on line. This is a great tool and really lights up the area in front of me.

I won't get into a lot here as the video covers so much but to summarize...

Bright light
Easy to switch modes (4)
Comfortable with a lot of adjustability
Multiple charging options (2)
Batteries included (2) 18650 is the type, each is 3000mAh
Water resistant
* It can also serve as a power bank, different but nice option*

The charger has a small LED that is red and turns green when charged.

The backside of the battery pack is lit green so anyone behind you can hopefully see you better.

Adjustments to the straps are easy and the elastic feels sturdy.

Now I do not know if this really puts out 5000lm but it is definitely bright and I really think it works great. It has a nice feel of quality to it compared with some headlamps I've used.

Please see the video for more info and to see how well it works.

In all but one category the review sample that I received exceeded my expectations. Where it falls short is the lack of documentation. There was none with the unit I received and it took some time to figure a few thing out.

The four modes that the product description cites are the sequence of lighting from pressing the on/off button successive times. One press illuminates the middle, large light. Two presses turns off the middle light and illuminates the two smaller side lights; three presses illuminates all three lights. A fourth press puts the lights into rapid flashing mode for emergencies.

Illumination, even with a single light on in Mode 1 is bright and relatively wide. It will easily light a path for bicycling or hiking. All three lights covers an even wider area and for close in work from three to seven or eight feet you can actually perform detailed work or observations. It's also strong enough for some point and shoot night photography without needing a flash (I tested it with my Galaxy Note 3's camera outside at night and it was more than sufficient illumination.)

Wearing this is surprisingly comfortable, especially considering that the battery pack contacts the back of your head. That component is made of soft rubber or neoprene and is water resistant. A nice feature is the small green light that is on the back of the pack that provides locational guidance if you are hiking with folks behind you.

I did not test the life of the batteries, but since they are 4000mAh each I am guessing that they will stay on all night and then some. The included wall charger has a fixed cable with a barrel connector. Frankly I do not like that arrangement and would have preferred a standard micro USB cable for charging the batteries. I almost subtracted a star for that (and the lack of documentation), but it also comes with a separate USB cable - also with a barrel connector) that has USB A on the other end. That allows you to charge it from any lighter socket or wall charger that you use for your phones and tablets, as well as battery packs and even portable solar panels.

Overall, this is a handy light set for numerous applications. Despite the areas where I think it falls short it's still a four and a half star product. I rounded up to five.

I am extremely happy with this InnoGear 3 Cree LED Headlamp, it comes with a wall charger, a USB charger and 2x 6000mAh battery. It's solid built, comes with some great features, like heatproof and waterproof, it is also 90 degree rotatable, the straps is adjustable to fit different head sizes, This thing is really bright, it has 4 setting, 1 click for the main light in the middle, 2 clicks for the 2 smaller lights on the side, 3 clicks to activate all 3 lights, the 4 clicks for strobe, it will last 4-6 hours continuous use. it can be use indoor for garage work, and outdoors activities like camping, hiking, cycling etc. It fit really comfortable on head, it fits on a regular size biking helmet as well, but I preferred to wear it with a cap to make it look more normal or cool looking. I attached few picture to show how nice it is. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review
