  • YALUMI- The Brand You Can Trust. We sell the products that we design and manufacture. We don't do "buy and resell". We make our products unique.
  • BEST LED HEADLAMP AVAILABLE - We uses sophisticated optical lens for enhanced beam. The efficiency of light output is much better than the cheaper reflector type. White CREE LED with 105-lumen light output and 90-meter beam length provides 187 hours burn time in economy mode.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT & EASY TO USE - We use state of the art lightweight materials to reduce the weight. It is less than 2.7oz and simple push-button system for quick lighting mode selection (3 modes: economic, high-brightness, strobe).
  • MODERN, SLEEK and LOW PROFILE DESIGN- Our headlamps are designed and fabricated by advanced tool and machining. Careful treatment of the polish surface makes the headlamp fashionable.
  • HIGHIEST QUALITY- The headlamps are designed for outdoor activity. They are IPX4 rating for water resistance and CE, RoHS compliance.
The yalumi Spark Dual headlamp integrates two colored light sources--one high-output Cree XP-E white LED for long-distance illumination and two red LEDs for safety--that together provide five lighting modes (white modes: economic, maximum, and strobe; red modes: constant and strobe). The high-output white LED in this battery-powered headlamp (AAA batteries included) provides a narrow, focused beam of 105 lumens in maximum mode and throws light up to 90 meters. The maximum burn time is 187 hours in economic mode and 95 hours on maximum mode (burn time may vary based on battery brand and life). The red LEDs provide a strobe light for safety signaling and spare lighting in a constant mode to preserve night vision. With a compact and lightweight design, Spark dual is ideal for all types of outdoor activities. The exceptional lens qualities in the yalumi Spark Dual are rooted in more than 16 years of experience in engineering state-of-the-art solutions for camera lenses, video lenses, scanners, and other optical products. The adjustable headband with lamp-angle tilt allows aiming of the beam. Lock mode keeps you from accidentally enabling the light--and draining the batteries--when the headlamp is stored in your pack or pocket. The headlamp also is IPX4-rated for water resistance. With a compact and lightweight design, the Yalumi Spark Dual LED headlamp is ideal for outdoor activities or for technical activities where bright, precision-focused lighting is a requirement.

Bought this for my night running. Felt great on the head and the light is very bright. So far so good. The other brand name - black diamond - is twice expensive but less lumen rating. Cree LED is a reputable brand. Hope it lasts. Recommended.

Updated - Ran twice at night around 1 hour each time. The headlamp is very comfortable and won't slip down and especially the angle tilt stay put. The light output is awesome!! Very bright and shine far ahead. Love this lamp. Other runner friends are placing order with same lamp with great performance and cheap. Hope it lasts. One negative thing that I can think of is that since the light compartment is not removable from the Adjustable headband, after several runs the sweat will make it a bit smelly (or I have to wash it by hand manually...). May be if the manufacture read this they can improve it for the next version. :-)

Updated - 2/12/15. Purchased five mores for my running club! Battery life has been pretty good. I used rechargeable batteries and they performed great. I also dropped my headlamp once very hard but still in tact. Highly recommended.

I just have to weigh in here, I am an ultra runner, I have done several 100 mile runs which take you through the night. My daily runs are all in the dark. I love my headlamps. I have a Black Diamond, and a Petzl. I got the BD wet and it won't turn off...it's out. My Petzl started going a bit in and out on me a couple of weeks ago, if you gave it a good smack it would work fine. I was signed up to run the Javenlina Jundred 100 mile run! I couldn't risk being 80 miles into a race, a 1 AM in the Arizona desert and have my light go out, that was a recipe to become coyote or javelina food! But I also didn't want to spend much money on a light. I went with this Yalumi thanks to the lumen rating and the customer ratings. I brought the Petzl as a back up. I not only didn't ever use my Petzl, but I used the Yalumi on the not-as-bright setting. It worked all night, was extremely bright, never faded and it guided me to a 1 minute PR on the 100 mile distance! I love it!

I bought this to replace a Black Diamond after reading the reviews and I haven't been disappointed. It's an excellent headlamp for running - reasonably lightweight with a very bright light and stays at the angle you set it at. For just less than $15 it's a steal. Buy one.

Great bright light. It doesn't burn through batteries like other headlamps I have owned it the past. Would recommend it.

I purchased this headlamp & the back cover would not snap closed over the battery pack. I received a replacement for the defective headlamp NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! The replacement was perfect! Thank you - I'd highly recommend this product & seller! A+ customer service

Just what I wanted. Searched for a long time to find this quality of a product with these design features at this price. I purchased two. Put them both through the endurance and battery life test. They both performed as advertised.
I will probably buy more.

I had an older (a couple versions ago) Energizer headlamp and decided to get some more since headlamps are just so much more handy than flashlights.

I bought the yalumi LED Headlamp Spark 105-Lumen 90-Meter Spotlight, Advanced Optics, 1.5X Brightness, Longer Battery Life, Less than 2.7oz, a new Energizer version, the Energizer Pro 7 LED Industrial Headlamp, and a DEWALT DWHT70440 Jobsite Touch Headlamp. All three are decent, each with its strengths.

The Yalumi has the tightest, most focused beam of the three. The low-beam is quite strong, while the high-beam can be blinding when you catch the reflection (i.e. turning a corner). It seems to me that the emergency beacon mode (flashing/strobe) would be the most visible of the three. I was really surprised at the quality based on the price -- a lot more light than I expected. For longer distances, it's hands-down the winner of these three.

The Dewalt was a tad more expensive and a little heavier. It's a solidly made light with good beams and can be used on helmets better than the others due to the extra gripping material it has on the inside of the strap. While it feels slightly heavier when worn independently and the front light sits a little differently than the others, it's actually very comfortable and firm. Instead of a switch to change from low to high, it uses a "dial" that changes the focus of the beam. It also angles upward if that's a consideration (the others can be flipped upside-down for that purpose).

The Energizer has an added feature the others lack in the red beamed "night light". If you are in situations that require good night vision and you don't want to have to wait 15 minutes for your eyes to re-adjust, the feature is a real plus. As with the Yalumi, it has an emergency beacon (flash/strobe) mode. Otherwise, the flood is a decent, wide-angle (150 degree?) soft light and the spot is acceptable, though not powerful.

Swapping between the three for about a month of nightly use, I haven't seen any battery drainage and only time will tell how they stand up to use and abuse. For flooding an area close to you (e.g. indoors), the Energizer and Dewalt are the better options. If you don't need a flood for a short-range, broad beam or the red beam to preserve night vision, the Yalumi is the way to go. All three are solid buys for the prices.

UPDATE (12/30/14): The Yalumi quickly became my go-to light and is definitely the best of the three, despite being the least expensive. Battery life is very good -- maybe not what's claimed -- but still better than the others. The Dewalt went in the toolbox. The Energizer went on the shelf -- except for the occasions I want a red beam to preserve night vision.

RANK:
1) Yalumi
2) Dewalt
3) Energizer

I am kind of a Flash Light Freak. I feel you can never have to many lights and they just keep getting better the problem is this is an expensive hobby. I have many headlamps from Black Diamond on down. ones with separate battery backs and built in and this is my new favorite light. It is a good quality build not to flimsy or light weight but also not so heavy that it will bounce as you run or slide down your forehead. its also incredibly bright and clear for its very low price point. it also manages to maintain good battery life through smart consumption. it has a built in lock out switch so you can make sure it will never come on in a pocket or your bag and use up your battery when you don't need it. its lens keeps the light crystal clear but gives incredible range many head lamps are lensed for near distances of 30 or so feet this one is designed to give you max distance out to 90 feet giving you great visibility and you can clearly see what is ahead long before you get there this is typically only for hand lights. over all a great light and a very reasonable cost.

Really bright for suburban sidewalk running (which needs more light - to combat the blinding oncoming car lights - than running on dark trails), light enough to wear on my head, and the light itself has a three position angle adjustment (vertically) so you can point it where you need it.

I agree with the other reviewer who wishes that the headlamp can be separated from the band. That would be nice so you can wash it or more easily slip it around your waist if you want to wear the lamp on your midsection.

Awesome little light...Very light and bright...Has Low and High beam plus flasher mode...The beam is somewhat narrow, but again, very bright... In the picture below Im sitting in the back yard about 40 feet from the house, but it can really reach about 80 feet no problem...At 80 feet the beam gets a little wider...Some reviews said it broke when they dropped it...Well, dont drop it..Its not the most durable light Ive ever owned, but the price is good for what you get...

Those pruning saws always cut well when new but seem to get dull very quickly.
