For the price this kit is an amazing deal! I bought it figuring the case it came in would be next to useless, but I took a chance on the bits being all there and in good condition. I was pleasantly surprised, the case seemed sturdy, the little dividers in the front were loose, and the pieces were displaced, but it was nothing a little glue couldn't fix, and displacement of small parts is to be expected for something that gets shipped half way across the US.
If you're looking for a good set of rotary tools for a great price and don't really mind a little gluing/rearranging this is a great price.
The only thing I would be aware of is if you're looking to give this as a gift you might want to open it up and fix it first before giving it for presentation purposes. Despite this I'm giving it five stars for the great price/accessories.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
The box I recieved is about 1 1/2 times wider than the illustration, with more tools and accessories. More, but basically the same variety. Specifically there are 40 "tools" (corresponding to the top two rows). The photo shows two brass wire brushes. In fact the kit comes with NO brass wire brushes, but comes with 3 nylon brushes and 3 steel brushes. I would have prefered more and better brushes.
The remaining 188 "accessories" are mostly unmounted cutting disks, sanding disks, sanding drums, grinding wheels, and polishing wheels. Indeed, two sections (on the bottom row) are filled with cutting disks. Three sections are filled with polishing wheels. In addition there is one container of sanding disks, one section of sanding drums, one section of unmounted grinding wheels, and one container of polishing compound.
Realistically, there are few tools I did not still have from my old Dremel kit. But what I use most (and was out of) was cutting disk, sanding disks, and sanding drums. The set is a bargain just for those.
CONDITION
The box I recieved was entirely intact. Nothing broken, and all but a few unmounted grinding wheels were in their place.
CAVEAT
Note however, that the sanding disks are small and NOT self-adhesive, and correspondingly there is no tool to hold self-adhesive sanding disks. If you've been spoiled by dremel diamond cutting disks, you may be disappointed by the "ordinary" cutting disks in the kit.
SUGGESTION
The tools often fit tighter into the cylindrical plastic sleeves/inserts than the sleaves fit into the holes in the wooden "shelves". Therefore, when you pull out a "tool", you often get the "tool" and its sleeve. I suggest that when you first get a box that you carefully take out all the "tools", and line them up in order (so you can put them back where they came from). Then pull out the plastic sleaves one at time, and apply a little glue and reinsert them. When the glue is dry, reassemble the box. Ordinary white glue will do. Elmer's All Multipurpose White Glue, 7 5/8 oz. (E379)

This accessory set complements my Proxxon IB/E Professional Rotary tool quite well. For the price, you can't beat it. More pieces than I'll ever need but I'll certainly try to find more uses. Once initially opened, only a few things were displaced and nothing needed to be "glued". The first green capped container is filled with cutting discs but aren't made of metal. However, they are very sturdy and I expect will work fine on metal, wood, plastic, etc. The second green capped container is full of sandpaper discs. The third green capped container is filled with a green substance I assume is for polishing. There are five white safety caps for the sharpest pointy bits. Everything else you see is one piece. There are two phillips head (with red washer) mandrels for holding swappable discs. Naturally, there are additional mandrels for the sandpaper wheels (sanding sleeves), polishing pads, grind stones, etc. Being a novice, I found a very helpful youtube video explaining rotary tool How To basics on mandrels. See customer images.

The box and the separating compartments were actually intact when I received this in the mail, which came as quite a surprise to me, considering the other reviews. However, what they say about these being fully functional bits is true in that there's more here than most could hope to burn through assuming they knew what they were doing with a rotary tool. Great value if you dont want to pay for name brand bits that'd get worn out quickly with heavy usage.

As a loyal fan of Dremel I have to admit that for the price of this set Dremel can't touch it.I used a few of the tips and they worked very well and completed the task at hand.I seen many previous customers complained about receiving their kits with the pieces all scattered every where in the case, but I guess the manufacture of the product must have heard the consumers cries because the matter has been rectified. The manufacture installed rubber inserts where the original holes were in order to hold all the bits securely.Sorry Dremel I refuse to pay any more for the same product I can receive cheaper else where.

these rotary tool accessories work great for what I use them for I use these when building RC aircraft.I have not tried using them on anything else so I'm not sure how they will hold up. I really can not add or say much more then other reviews have already said. I think they were worth the money I did not received this item on time and I have prime. I notified amazon they took of the problem thank you amazon you have the best customer service wish other company's had great service like yours.

I ordered this on a whim. I'd scattered all the rotary accessories I had throughout my house and I was sick of trying to find them. I liked the look of the storage box and figured at under 20 bucks what the heck. When the set arrived I was immediately impressed! Check out the video for a close up look at everything that's included and if you found it to be helpful please hit the button at the bottom of this review.

The well criticized wooden case:
Having designed my own custom 'spill-proof' Dremel case from a 10"x12"x4" aluminum tool case, I wasn't too concerned about the box included with this kit. I will report that all pieces were where they were supposed to be when I opened it. Most of the bits (mounted, canistered and loose) transferred nicely into my case. A few spares went into my bench top "DREMEL BIN". I'm sure I'll find another use for the wooden case...it's in pretty good shape; certainly worth keeping. (I did pull the plastic inserts and incorporate them into my case...that makes it just a touch nicer!)
The bits:
Being only an occasional Dremel user, I haven't developed an acute feel for one bit verses another. The Dremel is one of those tools that spends much more time on the shelf than being used, but when I need it, there's nothing else like it! I haven't used one of these 'cheap' bits yet, however, that didn't do what I needed it to do. Therefore, no quality complaints, thus far. (Not too sure about the fossilized polishing paste included in the kit...maybe if melted it would transfer to a buffing wheel more smoothly?)
The deal:
For the price, it fills in the blanks in my Dremel case nicely with pieces to spare, so, I'm happy with the purchase. For me, this will likely be a lifetime supply... and for ~$18, that's no bad deal!

Impressive set of reasonably priced and nicely packaged accessories for a rotary tool. It arrived in great condition and is exactly as it appears in the photos on the product page. Since this item has been around here for a few years, and some people noted differences in what they received versus what they expected, I have attached a few pictures for comparison sake. My set was exactly as expected and when it arrived everything was still in its proper place within the wooden box -- nothing was rattling around loose. The soft foam insert helped cushion the pieces and prevent movement. I bought this for myself but it would make a good gift for anyone with a rotary tool.

It's loaded with goodies. I have no idea how to use most of the prices but I am sure YouTube can help me with that. I have some knives that were really bad scratched up. I used the wire brush and polishing compound that came with this kit and in short order the blades turned out good as new. I really like the the fact that I have some cutoff wheels that I can use to cut my carbon arrows with a little more precision that what I was currently using to cut carbon arrows. Overall I am very pleased with this kit so buy with confidence.
