Extremely fast shipping, no product damage upon opening, absolutely gorgeous design, heavy yet small which is perfect, writes amazingly smooth and does break windows with the slightest of easy. Also used it in a training dummy and ripped into silicon body no problem.

I'm a DCO ( Dog Control Officer ) and I have bought some tactical pens in the past. This one kicks all of their asses hands down. Since I have received the pen I have carried it for work. When I approach a house it's in hand, when I'm doing paperwork I used it to write and also used it instead of my baton to break a window to get a dog out of a hot car.

Result of the field test, window break is a 10, writing is a 10 and still has ink in it after doing over 150 documents, feeling of protection is a 10, design is a 10.

For $10.99, I cannot believe the quality of this pen! It is so solid, the pen comes out with a very easy, slight twist and writes well, the "glass breaker" end looks very serious and gives you the added benefit of being able to strike with either end as a defense weapon. The pocket clip is very heavy duty and since is is one solid piece of steel, will not fatigue and snap off over time. The middle is heavily knurled and gives you a very confident grip. Most pens that look identical, like the Uzi brand, cost double. I cannot find anywhere that says where this pen is made but I don't care, .....I"m very satisfied with this product for the money....it's an excellent value! Only con is that it is heavy and if placed in a shirt pocket, will cause the pocket to sag with the weight. Who cares....put it in your pants pocket. I really don't plan on writing with it, I plan on keeping it on my person for defense purposes only while working, so I have a legal weapon option at work that no one will think of as a weapon. One more note, I have to say due to it's black, tactical look, it has a somewhat "sinister" look...some people might look at it and say "What the heck is that?". I will say: "Oh, it's just a heavy duty pen that I can't break...I"m hard on my pens!"...smile!

Wow, this is strong and very well made. This will last a lifetime. This portable survival aircraft aluminum defender tactical pen is very cool. This would be a fantastic gift for someone you care about. It is impressive. It comes in a nice box and the pen looks nice inside. The pen writes like a normal pen does however there is more to this. There is also a clip so you can clip it on your shirt pocket, inside jacket pocket or inside your purse. There is a super duper strong point tip at the top of this pen that will most likely break glass (I have not tried this out though). Also this pen is so strong, sturdy and unbreakable so it would for sure be a great self defense tool. The top tip that is for breaking glass could surely hurt someone and help you defend yourself if you needed to. This is 100 times stronger than a normal ball point pen. Even though this is so well made with strong heavy duty materials surprisingly it is not heavy. I would highly recommend this tool pen it is fabulous. I received a discount on this product in a special promotion. My review, my opinion and experience is honest and 100% genuine.

I am very impressed with the Sminiker Defender Tactical pen. It appears to be well constructed although the knurling might be unforgiving on a shirt fabric. The pen is for real! It's not a cheap Bic rollerball. It writes better than my Mont Blanc. I've not tried to take it aboard a commercial flight but I plan to pack it in my suitcase when I go on my next cruise. It would be a good defensive weapon when I can't carry my knife. I recommend the tactical pen from Amazon. The price was right and it arrived ahead of schedule.

Sturdy, heavy duty tactical pen. I'm a security officer so i use pens alot in my reports or daily activity log. As far as pens go it is perfect. Writes smooth, twists open fluidly. Glass breaker tip is sharp but not painfully sharp just by touching it. Also as security personnel i spend a lot of time walking outside in the middle of the night so its secondary function can potentially come in handy. I hope i never have to use either of the secondary functions of this but im 100% sure if i did, it could do the job.

 If you get this pen you may need to order one of the chains you see at banks to keep it from being stolen. This pen has walked away from my desk multiple times and has had several pen-napping attempts at my home. This is a very formidable pen. The weight and feel of the pen tells you that the construction is solid. It has a checkered grip on the side to give you a bit more of a firm grip when using this pen as a glass breaker or for self defense. The ink cartridge is a standard issue and easily replaceable. The current cartridge writes in black ink. The pen is slightly heavy and does tend to make my shirt pocket sag. I keep it clipped in my front pants pocket in the event I should be attacked by ninjas while I am out at dinner. This pen will get you out of a jam whether it is writing a note excusing you from something, defending yourself against attackers, or breaking out a window should you become trapped in your car. I will probably keep this in my truck as I am always needing a pen and never have one available in my truck.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Although I haven't had the opportunity to use the glass breaker end, this is just a nice pen to use. It has a good weight and is comfortable to use. I have been using it almost every day and I really like it.

What can I say? It's a pen, right? It writes. But there is really so much more. It's heavy, and I like a heavy pen. It is really easy to grip. And then there are all the features the ad will tell you about. It has a glass breaker. (A pointy metal tip). It's good for self defense,(and mightier than the sword). There are probably 15 other features, but I really don't care about any of them, because all I wanted was a good pen, and I got that. By the way, it's my second one. If you are going to buy one, get two, as your wife will take yours away, because she wants a good pen too. Also, it uses a common refill, so it will last forever. (Did I mention it's made of metal?)

I ordered this pen because I am starting a zombie apocalypse survivors go bag. It is very important to have a tool that you can easily keep on yourself that can be used to break a window in case of a zombie attack or maybe if you go off a bridge or something. I was not able to test the piercing power of this pen by breaking a window as I did not have a readily available ex's car but from simpler tests I can verify that this is sharp enough and sturdy enough to get the job done. Also it writes well and the ink cartridge is a pretty standard one so it is easy to find a replacement. The pocket clip is very large and made out of the same metals as the pen itself so it will not easily bend out of shape. The grip on the pen is designed so well that you do not have any worries about it either slipping in your hand or scraping your hand raw during an impact. This is a very nice survivor pen it will for not stay in my car.

The sminiker portable survival pen is made of very good quality aircraft aluminum and very heavy duty for all it does!
It is heavy, but works very well to write with and with just a twist makes it easy to operate.
The pen comes in a very nice padded and protected box to secure the pen.. Very nice for the price.
This pen would make an excellent gift for women or anyone that would like to keep a survival tool on them in disguise in case of an emergency!
I have not used the pen to break glass yet, but it seems that it will get the job done by the mechanics of the pen and how it is engineered.
I highly recommend this pen to everyone! You don't want to get into a situation without a survival tool when you need one.
