 I purchased this blacklight flashlight because I have a multi-cat household and with the messes I go through on a day to day basis, I want to know just what was going on with my carpets. Be careful what you wish for as the saying goes. Yikes! I did not expect to see what looks to be a crime scene in my home. Wow, I really need to do a better job of cleaning. As you can see form the video there are little messes everywhere. They are not visible to the naked eye in regular lighting but with this blacklight it is oh so apparent. So overall I am glad I purchased this and obviously have a lot of work to do in my home. This little light will come in handy from now on so that I can check my carpets and furniture regularly. The flashlight takes 3 AAA batteries that you will have to provide yourself.

OMG the things I saw! Scary. I knew my sons dog had left a couple spots of urine here and there, but this found some I had no idea about. I made the mistake of taking into the bathroom after my husband had cleaned it and was shocked at what was there! I showed him and he agreed he would be doing a better job in cleaning when it was his turn. It also said he would try and improve his aim!

I have 2 animals that are old and they pee on the carpet sometimes and i cant find the spot but i can smell the pee. Im so very glad i got to test out this light because now i can find their pee and clean that area without having to clean my whole carpet.hank you you have saved my back alot of useless work. I waited till nigh time and turned off all the lights and needless to say i found several spots i didnt even know they had peed there. It glowed like a neon sign. his light takes 3 AAA batteries is all and it works great also for finding ringworms on animals or humans.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I also want to put this out there that just because I may receive and item for FREE or at a DISCOUNTED PRICE, doesn't mean that I just give it a high rating and made up review. I smelled those puppy-accidents on my carpet but I couldn't find the "spots". Luckily I found this flashlight and now I find them in seconds and can clean them up. The dried urine spots are very easy to find. Darken the room up a bit, so the "purple" light is easier to see. You will not regret buying it.

As a pet owner with more than one older cat or dog in the last few years, we didn't realize how many accidents or stains the pets had left behind, hidden to us but leaving a nice "odor" that we couldn't find. Since we purchased this flashlight that finds the hidden urine or oopsy poopsy's, let alone the fur ball spit up areas, we are amazed at how much better our house smells!! We use it every few days and don't know how we lived without it. With a couple of new little puppies in the house now, it is especially helpful during the "housebreaking" period.

this is a great light. we were house hunting and didn't know if any owner had had pets, (we have them we know they have accidents) so knowing if we had to replace the carpet was a huge factor and something we didn't want to pay for. so taking this light with us was a big deal we were able to negotiate new carpet after the owners lied to us about not having pets my light was able to show them that they lied and got us new carpet

I received the Spot's Light UV black light flashlight. By using the light, you will be able to find hidden pet stains or other stains on your floor, hotel inspections, scorpion hunting and auto leaks. The flashlight is measured a little over 3 inches long. For the light to work you need to add 3 AAA batteries and then press the button on the rear cap. When the room you are in is dark, you will be able to see the stains on your walls, ceiling, or floor. I used the light in my living room and I saw the stains my kids made by spilling drinks. This little flashlight really works and I recommend it to anyone needing a UV light.

First of all, I didn't buy this because "Spot" pees all over my house. I live in Arizona where we have scorpions, and they fluoresce under black lights, which make them easy to find (and kill). I already had one of these, but wanted another one so my husband and I can go on backyard hunts together.

The flashlight itself appears very durable, and note that it does not come with the necessary 3 AA batteries it needs to work.

However, when I tried this around the house, I was disturbed and a bit horrified what I found. I thought I kept my house pretty clean, but this lights up every speck of dust, every cob web, and every stain on the floor (doesn't have to be urine!). I obviously need to clean more often. Check out my picture taken in my pantry. There is a stain on the floor that is invisible in regular light. This lights it up (and freaks me out). No more 5-second rule in my kitchen! Time to mop! Every household should have one of these gadgets!

The scorpion in the picture was taken not in my house, but in the desert, thank goodness. But it shows how a scorpion fluoresces under blacklights - fascinating.

I purchased this product because I have cats and they've thrown up a few times on occasion and I was interested in finding the carpet stains that couldn't be seen by the naked eye.

Let me start by saying that this product works...I found several spots on my carpet where I know my cat had thrown up and this light highlighted it. Let's just say that this light should pick up any type of bodily fluid, from an animal or a human. I promise you it works. You can also use this light for many other things. Anything that lights up under a UV light, such as a glow stamp or something like that will show up under this light. This light also makes a great light in a low light area where you don't want to shine a bright white light. It's small enough that you can throw it in your pocket or purse as well.

I'm very happy with this light. It does exactly what It is supposed to do. I was offered to purchase this UV flashlight at a discount in exchange for providing my honest review of it.

I purchased Spot's Light UV 12-LED flashlight to help find old and new pet stains on my carpet and to replace a 21-LED UV light I misplaced. It is lightweight and compact enough to hold comfortably in the palm of my hand and not take up too much storage space. The batteries were simple to install and I do not have to shake the flashlight to keep the contact and batteries in place like other compact flashlights I previously owned.

Pet stains light up like Christmas, making them easy to detect, even older ones that occurred before I owned the house.
