Excellent quality for the money. Purchased an cordless impact gun for our wrecker & needed a set of sockets to go with it. These were cheap enough, so I thought we would give them a try. They really worked well. I was so impressed that when my strap-on 22mm impact socket vanished into thin air, I ordered another set of these. I use them regularly & they seem to be holding up just fine. Also, this set was much cheaper than replacing the single missing strap-on socket.
As others have stated, it is an odd set, missing some critical sizes. I would like to see them do away with the 10mm & 11mm & give you a 15mm & a 18mm. Does anyone really need a 1/2" impact socket on a 10mm headed bolt? If so, I believe you are doing it wrong. In my 20+ year old set of 1/2" impact sockets, the 12mm looks almost brand new & the 13mm shows signs of minimal use. Also, in my 30 or so years of working on cars, I have yet to run across a 11mm nut or bolt on anything. I mainly work on Japanese imports, but I do dabble in a little bit of everything. Seems like a filler size, just there to make the set look more complete. I would gladly pay a little more for this set if there were a 15mm & an 18mm. Just my opinion.... and we all know about opinions.
Also, a few of them are not marked very well, but that is just a minor inconvenience.
Summarized: If you are looking for an inexpensive set of impact sockets, that do what they say there going to do & wont fall apart like some harborfright krap, pick up a set of these. You won't be disappointed.
And STANLEY, if your listening & if you care, make a set with a 15mm & a 18MM. You will have a lot more happy customers. GG - arbez

I do all my own repair and maintenance on my vehicles, which currently number 6... All except my boat are foreign vehicles, and I finally got around to getting a set of deep impact sockets in metric... (Since impact sockets are six sided, you can get by with SAE sizes, but it's far from ideal... :) )
These sockets are good. The finish on the sockets doesn't match quite exactly, but that's really not an issue. Some are a little flatter black than others... Apparently they were made either in separate batches or they were made at different subcontractors, but they don't all look like they came from the same set... But they are well made and sized exactly right... (Some sockets are a little tighter or looser than the standard, but these are dead on. I measured them with an inside micrometer; they are dead on with the spec.)
If I had a wish list, I would have made this set include a 25mm socket and drop the 10mm. I have never seen a 10mm bolt that I actually needed an impact socket for. If the bolt is extremely tight, I would just grab a 6 sided regular socket to remove it.
Since I have a very large collection of sockets and these are deep sockets, I didn't have room in my toolbox drawer that I have all my sockets in... I knew I wouldn't, and that's why I wanted a set that came in some sort of holder or box that I can store in the cabinet where I keep my impact wrenches. The box is nice, two locking tabs and a handle to grab it with. The standard spring loaded socket holders won't work with these, they are far too heavy and will just fall off.
Very happy with these sockets.

I own an auto repair shop. I've used these everyday with my air gun with no problems over the last few months. I can't ask for more in a tool.

Great product definitely not made by any cheap material you can feel the reliability in the weight of the product. This is a must have for every garage it comes in handy so much, the case is a definite plus to help keep track of each socket.

So far so good! They have withstood my abuses, but I'm not a heavy user (although I have a heavy hand). I have used them to remove and reinstall 8 tires so far (2 sets of Winter tires switched over to Summer tires). They handled it way better than my standard Craftsman sockets that weren't built for that kind of abuse, so I'm happy. I believe my impact gun is rated at 550ft/lbs, and I had my compressor cranked to 120psi, so I think I may have over-torqued my lug bolts, but these sockets performed exactly as expected, so regardless I'm happy with them.

These sockets are high quality for basic mechanic work. They are made of Chrome Vanadium steel with a black oxide finish. You can get the Metric or Standard set at WalMart (air tools section) for about $18 and they do come in a decent case for transport. They also come with a lifetime warranty. Compared to other makes these are a steal.

1/2 inch drive.
Several METRIC sizes (be careful - make sure you don't think these come in INCHES, they come in MILLIMETERS)
They're about 3 inches long each, maybe a bit bigger. They hold up to some serious torque. These things are designed well.
They come in a yellow plastic case that holds them adequately and is labeled for each size.
They are not loose, as the picture may show.

Sockets work great. I've owned a lot of stanley products, and a lot of there stuff is very good for what your paying. I would advise staying away from their ratchets, as ive broken all of them, but all my sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. I still have to this day after almost twelve years of use. I use these sockets everyday, and i don't have anything bad to say about them.

Used these to do a brake job on my wife's car a couple weeks ago. They are nice and come in a nice case. I can't complain. I wish they came with all sizes between 12 and 21 or so but it had all the ones I needed for the brakes.

Great set of wrenches. You buy the impact tool to maintain and repair your SUV and heavy boat trailer. The sets you buy at Walmart don't have the top end sizes (7/8" and above) to do what you need for trucks and trailers. These sets do. I'm loaded, locked, and ready to go now.
