I may be 30 years old, but that hasn't stopped me from hitting garage sales and buying random boxes of Legos. And I don't mean just a small random box. We're talking about 20lbs boxes! It's like the ultimate puzzle trying to figure out what sets are in there and super satisfying to find 100% complete sets! Buuuut... now that I'm older I've realized that the chaos of just dumping a bin of Legos out on the floor is no longer as appealing as when I was 10. Oh no, no, no... things must be organized now! And adult-me also prefers that small things be organized in bins that keep pieces separated even if I were to drop the bin.
That is where the Stanley SortMaster Tool Organizer comes into play! It allows my adult brain to stay happily organized while my inner child can go to work in building sets! They are stack-able (which saves space), durable, and easily/securely customized to fit whatever parts you are trying to fit in it. The best part is that having dropped a bin or two from waist height, crossover between the dividers in the container is minimal for even the smallest of Lego pieces depending on how you have organized the dividers.

We've had this nifty box for about six weeks and yesterday, my hubby finally used it to sort his sockets and wrenches from a garbled mess in a clunky toolbox to something he could use and we could find what we need without sounding like a special effects studio on "crash noise" day. This sucker is a lot bigger than either of us anticipated, so if size is important, like it has to fit on a certain shelf, be sure to measure beforehand. It's lightweight without being flimsy and even with most of my hubby's tools from his old toolbox, it's considerably lighter and easier to maneuver. We'd definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends and family.

I nearly fell for it and came so close to getting some Akro plastic parts storage units. I know many people are happy with those units but they're not for me. I actually will store screws and nails, and sundry other small items, in my Stanley units.
I bought 6 of these storage units. They're quite big and the price is literally 3 cents under ten dollars per unit, before tax, at time of my purchase. That's a Prime item so shipping was included.
It was my UPS driver who spared me from making a huge mistake. He explained that people are ordering the big plastic drawer units and later discovering they don't hold much of any weight. "Those dang things fall apart," he said. He advised I stop trying to get a big piece of junk and stick to what works in the real world, meaning not falling apart when used. "Stanley," he said. So this one was the nicest price and it's easy to stack and store on closet shelves. Solved.
It's not the first time my friend steered me to something good and spared me from making bad choices.
What I like so much about this Stanley unit is I can see what's in there and the compartments stay in place. Small metal components stay in their trays. Just buy the good thing from the beginning and end up saving money - my guy knows these things.
Did I mention this unit is big? Get it; you won't regret getting the next size up. This is quite big.

I must have close to a hundred of these now. I have about twenty five in my work truck holding fittings, parts, screws, you name it. I have 6 shelves full of them in the garage( I have more hardware than a lot of hardware stores! ) and the kids love them for sorting legos, hobby stiff and toys. I like these with the removable dividers better than the ones with the little inserts, because I can customize these more.
I have cracked one or two lids at work due to overloading and general abuse, but let's face it, loaded up with pipe fittings and thrown around a work truck from job to job all week is tough on anything.
I order a few at a time, and it never takes long to use them up.
Not much to say but simple, cheap, and they work.

For sewing storage? Yep. Better than anything I found with 'baskets' designed for that stuff. Moveable storage compartments and tight fitting lid. My wife thought I was crazy but turns out I'm crazy like a fox. Bought two and put items not used a lot in one and the other is the ones we use to fix the kids cloths constantly. The snap together so they are always together. We can actually find stuff now instead of digging through what to me always looks like an overpriced lined pick nick basket. Wanted it for me but looks like I'll have to buy more for my stuff. :-)
For reference I did get this for 9.97 here on Amazon. Over $20 is a little hefty and wouldn't have jumped on it. Came back to buy more and found that price was sold out and for good reason.

Nice organizer with a sticker in the middle that comes off nicely unlike the clear professional organizer. Latches nicely, strong plastic and is stackable.

This is the third Organizer in the Stanley Set I purchased. As with the other two I choose to purchase these due to the dependable Stanley name. it has not disappointed. As I have said in my other reviews of their tool organizers they are for my husband who is in the Heat and Air Condition Trade business. He is not gentle on his organizers and this is not something that is going to get treated gently. The lid and the organizer itself is made of durable high quality plastic. The snaps to keep the box close seem well made. They are the only thing I have some concern with, but right now they are holding up. I will advise if this should happen to change. The compartments are a nice depth and can hold a lot of small Odd and Ends. The three organizers that were suggested to buy together when I found the one are a great buy and work together well. I am glad that I did purchase all three. Some reviewers have suggested that the Stanley sticker label is hard to get off ... if you use nail Polish Acetone or Goo Off ... it comes off rather simply. I do highly suggest this organizer for staying organized.
I purchased this item at Full Price as a set of three. I was not asked to do any review for a fair and honest review. I reviewed this item in order to share my unbiased opinion and to help others make a great purchase. No compensation of any type was given to me to provide this review.

Purchased this for my husband to use for his 1/16th scale model tractor pulling parts. It is a nice heavy guage of plastic. the interior compartments feature some movable dividers. It does seal nicely so items do not move from compartment to compartment while carrying with handle. We purchased a large one, but we have seen smaller ones that would be nice for screws or nails.

For the price, I was very impressed with the quality and size of this. It is not some wimpy organizer you'd get at the craft store - it is sturdy, great quality and bigger than I expected, which is a good thing. I am using it to store different sizes of batteries, pushpins/thumbtacks, a sewing kit, shoe polishing items and all of the things that would otherwise be in a junk drawer. Highly recommended.

Our kids recently got the Disney Infinity 3.0 for our gaming system, and with this system, you accumulate a lot of game pieces/figures quickly. With that, we needed a storage solution so we could organize and find everything as well as protect the figures because at $15 each, the cost adds up quickly. In comes the Stanley SortMaster with movable dividers. This thing works great for our needs. I was able to remove some of the dividers for the larger figures and the smaller ones fit perfectly into the non-adjustable (is that a word?) sections. They stack neatly and tuck under the coffee table and out of the way. For under $10 each, this was a great buy and a perfect, reasonably priced solution. They seem sturdy, so I would not hesitate to use them for storing heavier hardware, fasteners, etc. The lid secures nicely and you can see through it so you can find what you are looking for before you open them all!
