Look, I'd never thought I would be sitting here ranting and raving over a hole puncher. It's a hole puncher, right? Wrong. It's Swingline so you know it's quality. It has a little ruler on it, so you can measure your paper or use it for straight edge. This hole puncher will punch holes and punch holes through paper like none-other. I was having trouble with a punch from a different manufacturer; when I borrowed this for a day after mine broke (again!), I was stunned to discover how solid and reliable it was. I immediately bought one, and it has exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend this highly enough.

the price on amazon was fantastic compared to the local stores & this particular punch is great.
it has a much longer handle, so punching is easier. the holes are also not as close to the edge as you get with a standard punch. and it also has a lock-down for the handle so you can still slide it into your drawer. the strange flip door for the punch-outs works fine. it is hard to get all of the bits out, but on the other hand - it's easier to manage than the standard rubber tray bottom that usually spills them out all over the place.
i use my hole punch frequently (for class hand-outs & such), but am not usually punching more than 10 pages at a time.

Works great and looks good on desk. You cant ask for more from a reasonably priced product than to do it's job and to look good. The reduced effort is not a marketing scheme it is easier to punch through 10 sheets than the old model that this replaced. The Swingline Desktop Hole Punch, Precision Pro, 2 - 3 Holes, Adjustable Centers, 10 Sheets (74037) has adjustable punch settings and is great if you don't use it too much. Eventually the adjustable punches become loose and have to be constantly re-tightened. Also this model has more leverage making it take less force to do the same job.

I have a weird obsession with office supplies, (ya I know). Any I lost my small 3 hole punch moving. Was so sad and defeated by having to use a one hole punch for tons of papers, either that or just shoving the paper into the binder and making awful holes. Oh good just thinking of it raises my anxiety.
This 3 punch is PERFECT. 20 pages at once?! CHECK! Convenient and easy to use I don't have to sit there with my one hole and try to jam that through more than 2 pages ( which of course I did try). It was a rough few weeks, but can finally rest easy knowing I have this for all my punching needs!

LOVE this hole punch. I made-do with my old one for way too long before getting a replacement and once I used this one for the first time I could have kicked myself clear around the block. Very easy to use, gentle on the hands and easily accommodates at least 6 sheets of regular paper. I don't think I've tried more than that at a time, but sure it could handle it. The alignment takes a little getting used to as it appears that the sheets of paper are crooked when inserted but this isn't the case and the holes are even as they should be. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This punched through papers with ease. It is very durable and I feel it will last a long time. It is a bit large so it does take up a bit of desk space. I just store mine under in the cabinet and take out when needed. It lines up the holes perfectly to fit the binders. I have not tried to adjust it because it came perfectly lined for what I needed ! I was able to punch through 8 pages of standard copy paper with no trouble

I am LOVING this so far!
The handle is great, the size is perfect to store in a drawer.
It punches through sheets like a dream, and even the locking mechanism is easy to use.
The size isn't really adjustable like older ones I've used, but I only use standard paper anyway.
I've mainly only used ancient 3-hole punches before, so this has been amazing for my home office.

This does exactly what I need it to do; which is to punch holes in papers so I can stick them in a three ring binder. It doesn't take too much effort to use, and the holes are nice and cleanly punched. I can punch holes in about 10-12 pages at one go,which is as much as I've needed to do.
I highly recommend if you don't need a to punch the three holes in dozens of pages at one time!

As a person over 65 years old, the best feature of this paper punch, for me, is that it requires minimal strength and will punch several pages easily. The added bonus is the storage section locks thus preventing those little paper circles from spilling all over the floor.
