I have been a knife collector for many years, and I own some of the best knives made, (now and years before this), so trust me when I say I ADORE this knife! When I buy a knife of this price range I don't expect a great deal ... I DO expect a certain amount of quality in ANY knife, as reputable companies have to put their name behind their products, and so can only "cut corners" in so many places, but I don't expect to enjoy or appraise a $6.89 knife anywhere near as much as a $75 (or more) knife.

However, that has indeed happened in this case. I have always liked Tac Force knives as a low-end option, and feel their quality is indeed above their prices, but even so, when I saw this listing and noted that there were no other reviews, I was bit hesitant to buy, (especially a wood-handle knife, which can have more inherent problems than knives made completely of steel, or knives made of carbon fiber or steel and polymer mixes). I have literally hundreds of knives, and I always have a "binkie" or favorite that I keep with me and carry in my pocket, (which for a long time has been a Benchmade, and before that, a Browning or Gerber).

I choose my binkies for many reasons, but primarily for quality and how it "feels" in my hand ... I like the knife to seem like it was made for my grip, and well-balanced also, with a solid strength and smooth design. This knife has all of these qualities and more, and the details to design and efficiency that I look for in knives of a much higher price, and so has quickly become my NEW binkie, and my favorite to have in my pocket at all times.

I show it to just about everyone, and let them feel the action of the spring-assist, the smooth grip in their hand, the solid liner lock and weight, the sturdy belt clip and construction as a whole, and the balance when opened. Don't get me wrong, this knife does not come with all the extra gimmicks and materials that $150-plus knives do, but it is easily worth TEN times what I paid for it, and the enjoyment I get from it is priceless.

If you love knives with a simple, smooth design, and clean look and quick action, then you HAVE to get this knife. You'll find as I did that it's the best seven-dollar knife purchase you have ever made, (or possibly will EVER make), and you'll most likely be writing a similar review yourself, (or at least will be thinking it). You will NOT be disappointed ... Tac Force comes through for me again!

I just simply LOVE this knife!

Awesome knife at an unbeatable price!

PROS:
- Very beautiful looking knife, looks far more expensive that it actually is.
- Excellently smooth assisted open action.
- The knife is very sharp right out of the box, I wanted a plain edge knife so it would be easier to sharpen rather then a serrated edge, and this one has a nice sturdy edge to it, with a very sharp point.
- Its a nice size and weight, it doesn't feel like a cheap sub $8 knife, it feels sturdy like it will last a long time. Its also not too small either, I wanted a good edc knife that wasn't the size of a keychain.

CONS:
- None.

I wasn't sure whether to believe the hype and all of the positive reviews, but seeing is believing. I wish I bought a few of these I can just keep around the house or in case I lose one because it is a very nice knife at a very nice price. If you want a good, cheap, edc knife, I, like several hundered other people that have bought this knife, highly recommend this one.

This knife is just sick, and when I got it in the mail I couldn't put it down. Good quality, ultra fresh and classy look to it. Heavy (Which is good for reliability and Durability) Pretty Ergonomic handle for gripping. I recommend it, and for its price there isn't a thing I'd rather get.

I'm not out in the woods every day. I just need to cut tape, string, packages, wrapping, that sort of thing. You know, basic urban needs. When I get the heck out of the city and out into someplace a little more wild, sure, I'll get a bigger knife with better steel. But for a nine-to-five warehouse worker, who takes the bus and walks a lot? Excellent little take-me-everywhere blade.

This knife is perfect for what it is. A solidly built, decently good knife that I can use the crap out of and not feel bad if I destroy it, while being good looking and fitting discreetly into my pocket. I wear this knife all the time, and whether I'm at work, at church, or on a date, it feels comfortable.

I've included a few pictures so you can see the size of the knife. You can see that it fits perfectly into my inner pocket on my jeans. I'm 6'2" and wear a 36 inch waist and a 34 inch inseam - a bit tall, but I'm not a giant. The clip is sturdy, the lock is solid, and the pakkawood is beautiful and comfortable to hold.

The knife is easy to sharpen, and does what I need it to do - just an EDC knife for a poor college age kid who could probably afford a more expensive knife but wouldn't want to use a more expensive knife, because I have bills to pay and I pay them all myself. This is a beater knife, and I like it.

for only costing a few bucks, this is a great knife. i've had it for a few weeks and its held up really well. the spring action is a little slower than some spring-assisted knives i've had from tac-force, but its still a good knife, and it looks classy as well

Great Knife for the price, or even several times the price. The design is stable, and works as it should. The blade is of 440 steel, preferred for knife blades. As for the loose screw problem(the small one on the side without the clip right behind the pivot on the steel plate) many have had with this knife I found the trouble to be that the scew is just too short and the doesn't reach the thread in the second plate of the two plates it screws into. Only one thread of the screw grabs(if you try to tighten this screw it will strip the screw but not the socket). It comes loose easily and lets the metal plate slide. Eventually, this sliding loosens the pivot screw as well. Using locktite helped for a short period but doesn't last. I found some other screws, in my old screw junk box, that had the same thread and were a little longer. I screwed it into the knife and it fit the threads in the second plate perfectly and would tighten up. I actually had to file the screw shaft a bit to keep it from protruding into the area where the blade slides by. The whole operation, taking out the old screw, filing the end of the new one to get it the proper length, and screwing it all back together took about 10 minutes. The problem of the loose screw no longer exists on my knife. All the other screws are tight and haven't loosened up. Fixing this screw issue transformed this knife into a 'could've been a great knife' to ' a great knife' . It is really an easy fix and makes your $7.00 knife worth a lot more. Plus you can tell everyone how you fixed your own knife.

Though somewhat bulkier than other EDC options, this knife is fantastic. Don't let the thickness fool you, it will fit in your pocket just fine. It's also quite durable. I've been very rough with it over the last year, and it's still in tip-top shape. It's been dropped in water, used to split small logs, half-buried in a garden, dropped countless times, and even used as a hammer in a pinch. It STILL looks and works great.

Given the price, I would recommend this knife to anyone and everyone. It's benefits far outweigh the low low price, and if it were to break on me, I would certainly replace it without hesitation. It also looks awesome, which is an added bonus.

Pros:
Everything above

Cons:
None. This is a fantastic knife.

This is a great EDC knife. It's probably my favorite folder for 2016. On top of that, you can't beat the under $10.00 price for this. I usually do my research and read the lower rating on all the products I buy. With that being said...

**For everyone that has complained about issues with the spring-assist opener, I would highly suggest getting (for all of your knives) a cheap TORX screwdriver set to ADJUST the tension setting for this knife. The largest TORX screw is the one you'll need to tighten or loosen.

Once I've made this adjustment, this knife opens and locks with authority. For all of the non-control points of this knife, it never hurts to re-check the tightness of the other screws. It's totally worth the investment. I put a link to what I use for my knives, but any smaller TORX set will work.

I can't say enough good things about this knife. For the buck, you really can't beat it. It's far from being a toy, but I have not shown it to someone and to not have them flip it open over and over again for like 5 minutes... there is something about the assisted opening that makes it rewarding and fun to open.

Sharp right out the gate... and all and all, a nice little knife to carry around with you. The price is great, and if I lose this one (which I always seem to do) I can easily just buy a replacement without feeling too bitter about it. All and all I am very happy with this knife and I would highly recommend it.

I picked it up during a lightning sale, and I'm positive I would still be glad even if I'd paid full price. It's got a great heft to it, feels nice in my hand, and is sharp. The opening motion is smooth and it glides until it clicks. It's not too hard to unlock and close. It's perfect to keep on your desk or carry around in your pocket for every day tasks. The wooden handle is a nice touch.

I don't buy knives all that often, nor am I an expert, but I wouldn't hesitate to look to this brand again.
