Tech Rescue
Over the years, I’ve had a number of tech toolkits for working on servers, drives, switches, laptops, etc. It used to be that when working on computers you could get away with a set of flat-head and phillips screw drivers ranging from tiny to large, even if you encountered smaller Torx screws. This is no longer the case. Anyone with any electronics in the house needs a kit like this.
Many modern laptops (like Apple MacBooks) use what appear to be “T" type screws (look like a 6-point star), but are actually “PL”(Pentalobe) tamper-resistant screws, which look like a 5-Point star and primarily used by Apple. You can no longer get away with using a small flat-head screw driver without ruining your driver or the screw head (the 5-point layout does not accommodate a flat-head driver, not matter how small). So, having the right bit is essential.
I try and keep my tools in small to easy to grab sets depending on need, and to that end this Everybit set is simply Awesome. With smaller electronics and clean product designs that hide screws in small places, you’ll need almost anything whether you are fixing a vacuum cleaner or computer. This set truly has it all.
It’s not plastic!
Most tool kits like this come with cheap plastic driver handles, but this one is metal. It’s not too heavy but feels solid and works great. In fact, it seems to be well-designed and of really decent quality. The driver handle might be a tad small for people with large hands, but for me it’s a perfect fit.
Every bit you could need is in there.
This kit has all the basics, with a few extended phillips and T-bits. Oddballs like TA’s and TR are included which is wonderful as these are becoming more common.
Everything stays snug
One of the beef’s I’ve had with small toolkits I’ve bought over the years is that they’ll often come with decent cases, but when opened, everything comes falling out. Especially with small bits, you need them to be easy to access but stay in place. This kit does a wonderful job of keeping everything together. The bits stay snug in their carriers, while the carriers are velcro'd to the toolkit case and don’t move. This is ingenious, as it makes it simple to pull everything out, yet only take what you need. When you pack up, everything easily goes back in its place, no fussing around trying to get small bits into smaller elastic holders. No more lost bits. The larger tools are held in place with stitched fabric-elastic bands.
Small Touches Add Value
One of the nice touches with this kit is that it comes with a small magnetic parts mat and suction-cup keyring. I don’t use either too often, but they help keep everything in its place when the case is zipped up.
Overall, this is a great kit and I have recommended it to several friends. This set is small but doesn’t compromise on quality. It has a well-made feel to it, with thoughtful touches that keep everything from spilling out all over the place. I am truly surprised how much I like this set.

I studied all of the computer tool kits for sale on Amazon very carefully before choosing this tool kit. This tool kit lived up to all of my expectations. The bit handle is nicely made and a pleasure to use, with a burled grip and a spinning top cap. The handle holds the bits magnetically, this gives a light magnetic charge to the bits as well, so the bits hold small screws perfectly. The bits appear to be well made, and are stamped with their sizes, which is very helpful considering how many different size and shape bits are in the kit. The magnetic parts holder (looks like a refrigerator magnet) is very useful as well. The case and the bit holders keep everything organized and in its place. I used this tool kit to replace the battery on a 2011 MacBook Air, and it worked wonderfully. This tool kit is a joy to someone like me who likes nicely-made tools.

This is a thorough and well thought out kit that contains many hard to find bits like security bits and penta lobe bits.
Overall, I find this to be a good bargain because it generally has everything you need. I fix various electronic gadgets from time to time and have, for example purchased the security bits separately, plus shipping and it all adds up.
I also use a plastic knife to open some parts and having this professional kit with the correct spludger tools, etc is nice, especially the carrying case, versus my plastic zip lock bag I use today.
I've repaired a few phones thus far for myself and friends and a kit like this will easily pay for itself the first time you use it! (Search Amazon for whatever phone glass screens you may need and make sure it is highly rated, I've had excellent luck so far.)

I don't know where to start.. This kit is just perfect. Honestly, if I lost the case, I would be happy paying another $20 just for the case. It's a well crafted hard shell, and fits everything perfectly. Even the box that it came in was cool! I know everyone's main concern is the durability of the bits. Fear not! They are well crafted, fit snugly, and are durable. The magnetic tip is very strong. Your little computer screws will not fall off. I took apart my Xbox One controller because it had sticky buttons, and I needed something to do the minute this came in, the tip held 3 screws. The security torx bit fit perfectly aswell. The tweezers are ESD safe, which was cool. The spludger is sturdy, and doesn't chip. Did I say the case was cool? All pieces fit securely in it, the bit holders even have a strip of velcro on the back to hold them in place. In all honesty, I ordered this in a rush for the tri-wing screws to fix my son's Nintendo DS lite screen, and it just became my go-to kit. I might even buy a second just to keep in my truck!

This tool kit seems to be a high-quality kit for this price. All the bits seem to be well-made, fitting into screws with no "slop." The driver handle is metal and comfortably sized for me. The included case is great. There are velcro tabs that the bit holder strips affix to, and in mine, they don't hold the red strips the best, but that's not an issue for my uses. The bits in my kit are somewhat looser in the holder strips than some bit kits I have, but I find that nice as some kits I have are so tight I have to work too much to get a particular bit out. Overall a well-made kit.

Awesome little tool set for electronic repairs. The case is definitely a nice touch. It's a soft nylon case that zips up. No cheap plastic case that's going to explode if dropped. The tips are all well machined, no cruddy cuts like you would find in a budget, generic Chinese brand. You get a ton of different tips, tri wings for Apple products or gameboy repairs, triangle, pentalobe, nut, star, a few hex (definitely recommend getting a multi hand tool for additional hex, T bits though if you don't already have one), and then a few sizes of your small typical flat and phillips. Also, you get a small suction cup for screen removal of smart phones (might work for laptop screens too though it's a tad small) as well as a three corner plastic spudger that looks like a deformed over sized guitar pick (but thicker). The magnetic mat looks like a refrigerator magnet and would be most helpful for holding small screws (though mine doesn't seem to be magnetic at all! Which is also the only con to this set, but hey, I didn't even know it was in this set until I opened it). For 20 bucks, this is imo, the best little electronics repair kit that money can buy. And the magnetic driver is also a nice plus for those tiny screws you don't want to be dropping everywhere.

Very nice compact tool set for any gadget. I have used it to repair a ipad mini lcd, ipod 5th gen. front assembly , iphone 5 digitizer , ipad mini digitizer, iphone 4 front assembly, and a galaxy s3 front assembly. It contains almost everything you need for repairs or replacements and the isesasmo tool along with the screwdriver bits are excellent quality.

Great little set of tools for all your cell phone or small electronic repair needs. Everything comes in a nice simi-rigid carrying case where everything is either held down with Velcro or held in place with elastic straps I bought this specifically for cell phone repairs and it has everything I would need as it included a suction cup, a couple of spungers and tweezers. This set is magnetic compared to the larger Tekton 145-pc. set so the pieces are probably nickle coated or contain a fair amount of nickle. As such, the tips can be a little softer than the same non-metallic bits. My 0.8mm pentalobe bit was defective in that the 'lobes' appeared to be not cleanly formed or cut. As such, it did not fit the pentalobe screw. A quick email to Tekton and they shipped me out a new bit that I received in a couple of days. The new bit fits and works. Great customer service from Tekton. I hope the other bits hold up well. But even if they don't, I am confident that Tekton will take care of any problems I may have.

To be totally honest, I haven't used this too much yet. But there is an awesome array of bits here that you will not find anywhere else. I'm not even a techie fixer per se or the type who is too likely to open up a smartphone very often, but I'm a DIYer who likes to have everything I may possibly need and to be prepared for any occasion...can you relate? Some of my kids toys have these triangle bit screws, and one of my phones has the "tri-wing" screw. I'm the type of guy that when I see a new screw, I must have the bit that opens it. The minimalist packing and clever, almost beautiful way that they fit everything neatly into this attractive little package is impressive. I'm looking forward to years of having this sit on my shelf. Heh. And using it when I need to.

I have purchased many precision toolkits looking for a great precision driver and even got a Wiha 4mm driver (really designed for long bits).
This driver is nearly perfect.
1) It is all metal, which has is good (nice feel, sturdy) and bad (not insulated)
2) It is a little short at about 3 1/3" (85 mm).
3) Metal (actually a magnet) stop at the bottom of the socket. So many others use a plastic choke & collar system (or metal choke and plastic collar) that are hollow at the bottom. When you apply some downward force, the bits slip into the handle, which is more than annoying. This driver has a proper stop for small bits. Love this feature!
4) Magnet is very strong at holding bits so they do not fall out, unlike previous magnetic drivers. The magnet is NOT strong enough to hold onto anything bigger than small screws. Even HDD/SSD mounting screws may be to big for the magnet.
The rest of the package is very nice in a compact package. It was smaller than I expected and a tiny bit smaller than the dimensions listed. The "magnetic mat" is just a standard flexible-type refrigerator magnet. My mat was DEMAGNETIZED as it cannot even attach itself to the side of my file cabinet like other refrigerator magnets. Not a big loss as I have plenty that I can substitute with.
