I'ved used many ratchet crimpers, both my own and work purchased ones. These ones are great! When you consider the price they become not only good but a bargain.
Pros;
Great construction
VERY solid crimping, I've dealt with cheap ones that no matter what just didn't crimp well
Replaceable jaws
Nice soft handles
Cons;
Can't really think of any yet, I will of course update if that ceases to be the case.
Very Happy!

The quality of the crimps this makes are SO FAR SUPERIOR to those typical/crap stamped hardware store crimpers I can't emphasize it enough. With a tug I can easily pull the wire from crimps made with typical stamped crimpers, crimps with these not with all my might, they would support my body weight. The included die crimps red, blue, and yellow INSULATED terminals, thus 22 thru 10 gauge. Ring, fork, quick connect, barrel, butt, all of them as long as insulated. At about $20 these are a must have for one who crimps daily as I do. For about $75 I see similar units with five different interchangeable die/heads which will do non-insulated terminals, and three other kinds which I am entirely unaware of, please comment and tell me what they are?? If you only use insulated terminals these are a must have.

What can I say, It is a great tool. Color coded and works as advertised. Better than the chinese built crimpers I have been using for years. Those crimpers were hit or miss and i went on-line looking for a better way to crimp terminals and I have found it. Great price too. Check it out you won't be sorry.

I was tempted to buy one at my local HF store for just 5-6 dollars cheaper, but I'm so glad I got this one instead. Build quality is night and day, down to the color dots. Made in Taiwan and excellent quality. Ratcheting action is smoother than whipped cream.
At first I didn't know how to properly release it and thought why would they design it so you can't fit your finger in there to press on the release lever, then I realized all you have to do is just to squeeze all the way and it'll release itself. I've never trusted crimping and always soldered when I had the cheap non-ratcheting crimper but this is quite secured for general automotive repair. Very satisfied!!

I had doubts about this tool because of the relatively low price. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It's nice and has a solid feeling, and it crimps beautifully. I've done a couple hundred crimps now and it hasn't failed even once to do a perfect crimp. I'm using it for wire and the matching lugs ranging from 24 ga. to 12 ga.

Nice tool for old hands without the power to crimp the used to have. Highly recommended for good results in crimping

I just can't believe that a tool of this quality is available at this price. It crimps insulated butt connectors, insulated ring terminals, etc. just flawlessly. If it has any weakness, it is as some have reported that the force required on some terminals is definite a two-handed operation. I have found that the problem is at its worst when crimping red (18-22 gauge) terminals that are at their wire capacity. In this case, I have found that crimping the terminal first in the blue slot before moving to the red slot makes for trivially easy, one-handed crimping. The difference is night and day.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Started using it at work for panel building and wire harness repair. Slots clearly marked and terminals seat easily in the dies. Makes good crimp connections with solid electrical and mechanical connections. Was at my door in 2 days for about $22 with Prime. Solid good quality tool at a fair price.

I owned a similar tool from Ancor (which was absconded by a fellow member of our racing team who has since moved out of the country). I used the Ancor product to completely rewire a boat and it was an excellent tool. I needed to do some electrical work on my present boat, and I bought the Titan 11477 Ratcheting Wire Crimper because it was quite a bit less expensive. I was worried that it would crimp as well as the Ancor, but it does an excellent job. I used insulated terminals, and the tool worked flawlessly on all crimps. I am very satisfied with this purchase (and I won't be loaning this tool because it will end up 'lost').
