I've always wanted to learn how to burn wood so I decided to buy myself a wood burning kit with all of the attachments. It was so much cheaper on amazon than my local big box stores. My husband bought me a $50 gift card for Christmas so I used it on all kinds of stuff for my new craft room. You can seriously find anything on here that you can't even find in stores. Great tool love it, very good for a beginer if i gets to hot try wearing a protective glove, i have posted some pics of my detailed work. I clearly have no problems with mine.

I've had wood burning kits before, but I was very pleased with the quality of the Weller wood burning kit. I love that it comes in it's own carry case, has several attachments that come with it (including blades), but it also has an easy to read instruction manual, and a couple of sample designs to practice with. I feel this product is a great bargain and would recommend it.

I recently started dabbling in working with pallets. I've got a huge learning curve ahead of me to say the least. That applies equally to wood burning. I received this kit as a birthday gift. I'm not sure if it is sold as a starter kit but it does seem like a really good starter kit for someone getting into the wood burning craft.

I have put a good number of hours with this wood burner. Again, I'm a starter so I admit I may not have a complete grasp of everything. The tool heats up very quickly. It does a good job of burning wood. Since I am mostly using it on pallet wood I have to be careful not to press too hard or it will over burn and leave an impression as well. I have used most of the tips in an effort to learn. They screw on and off very easily. The kit comes with a holder/rest piece for when you need to put down the tool. At first I thought it wouldn't work, but it has every time. I still take precautions but I completely trust it to do its job. Next on my list is to purchase attachable letters and numbers to burn into wood. I'll update when I do!

First time wood burner and this was a very good tool to start with. The handle does get hot to the touch and I would recommend using it somewhere that has fresh air (outdoors... a garage... or near an open window). It was easy to change the blades when it's cool and easy to get comfortable using. Glad I got this! Great price and great beginner set. I had a hard time opening the case initially.

I was sent this link by a friend. This product was highly recommended to me. Now, I highly recommend it to others! Every other wood burner I looked at didn't have the round burning attachment included. I loved finding this one with the attachment. It's made a few projects much easier to burn than it would have been with the thin tipped attachments. Heats up fast. Cools down fairly fast. The only thing I'd change about the set is the tool rest included. It's not very sturdy for a tool that can get up to 900 degrees. I worry about it falling over so I try to use it on my metal worktable just to be safe.

I was so upset when I broke my other burner and when I found this what a steal! Gets hot quick and works awesome! The accessories gives me more options to do so much more and I don't have to buy all kinds of add ons.

This wood burner worked perfect for my project. I used the 5/8" round tip to woodburn dots on a set of yard dice. Make sure to let the burner warm up well before using it to get the best results. A couple minutes to warm up works well. For the low price it is amazing.

Really nice wood burner. Gets super hot super fast, so be careful if you are wood burning numbers or letters because they get hot so fast it kind of messes up your artwork. But, I love this wood burner and all the accessories!
