Charger bought for an electric leaf blower that is kind of old. Didn't figure we would find a replacement for the malfunctioning charger that came with the blower. Then checked on Amazon and there it was! Can always count on Amazon for hard to find items.

I remanufactured the charger... I removed the AC adapter to only use the Battery Mount. It now is mounted permanently on my Metal Detector so I can use my 18 volt battery to power it. The 9 Volt batteries cost too much. Now I can recharge the 18 volt Battery with my regular charger and pop it on my Bounty Hunter Metal Detector for power!!

The new B&D drill is only 12V and the charger is no longer same style. My older 18V version is more powerful so this was great to have available. I've had the old drill for about 15 years or so and will undoubtedly get another 15 with the new charger.

It works to charge the battery on my Black & Decker 18V cordless drill that I've had for years. I ordered this and a replacement battery because I wasn't able to charge my existing battery with the existing charger, and it turns out my old battery was dead. It's not clear, because there's no manual for it, but the red light means there's power being fed to the battery. It doesn't indicate whether the battery is fully charged or not. It's the exact same thing that came with my drill originally, and that one is still working just fine so I would expect this to continue working for years as well.

We desperately needed to use our power drill, but somehow we misplaced the charger (and extra battery). Thinking it was lost or taken, we bought this and it works perfectly! We ended up finding the extras (go figure), but this is still nice to have as a back up.

I'll never know how I lost my first charger, but the replacement worked just as well. Reviews for things like this are pretty much a Pass/Fail.

Gets a pass. Works fine. Has worked fine for about one and a half years now and I use my cordless drill A LOT. Good charger.

I already had one battery charger, but wanted another one to give my B&D weed-eater more time. Usually I can weed eat for a half hour on a charge, so with the extra charger it gives me an hour. I am so glad to have found it.

If you're looking for a Black & Decker charger, than you already have a B & D product that has rechargable batteries. After SIX years of using the one that came with my electric blower, the poor cord that attached to the battery charger finally frayed to the point of no return.

I was torn between buying a new leaf blower or this charger and a new battery. But, seeing the prices that new leaf blowers are selling for, I went with the cheapest means of getting back to work and ordered a new charger and batter. Works as flawlessly as the old one, does the trick and hopefully I'll get another six years of hard core use out of it. Owning a landscape company, my B & D leaf blower is used daily and the charger is used around the clock. I feel that getting six years of hard use out of it warrants that five star rating I gave it.

Purchased this to charge a battery on a hedge trimmer I got from a thrift store. Luckily for me, the battery was good and this charger worked great! This is the second season I've used this charger. It's still going strong and continues to charge the battery. Great buy!
