This drill is excellent for hands on kids! My son has been begging sometime for a drill and so I bought one for his birthday and boy is he a happy camper. It is lightweight, easy to hold and can stand on its own. The rotating bit mirrors the action of a real drill. It even lights up, parents don't worry the sound is not very loud. The only downside to this drill is that the rotating bit can be potentially dangerous to the eyes and ears of children who are fascinated with its movement. I would recommend for 5+ kids. Great buy.

Gave it to our 18 months old grandson and he loves it. It is put away with daddies tools so when daddy takes his tools out to work our grandson gets to play with his. By rotating toys it keeps his interest. He learned to use it very quickly and he was able to use one hand to pull the trigger. The drill bit stops when he touches it so there is no danger of hurting himself.

My son absolutely LOVES this item. He is constantly finding things to "fix" around the house. It's the perfect size for little hands and it's not too noisy (something us moms love!). So far he's used it a lot and we haven't had to replace the batteries either. The only negative comment I have is where he's used the drill bit the silver paint is wearing off. Otherwise, this is a definite must have toy for little boys that love tools!

Now like dad. He has a tool that is close to the look of dads and helps build and fix things. I hope he has some talent in this area when he is older I would love to not have to fix his stuff when he is older

I thought it would be cute to buy our 4 year old the toy drill and daddy the real thing. There was no fooling him. I guess he is too old for the toy version because the real one does a better job for his needs. This would be awesome and a perfect drill but, for a younger child. The real cordless drill is safe enough/not a lot of power for a 4 year old and costs about the same!

I purchased this toy for my grandson for Christmas. He simply loved it. He couldn't stop playing with it. I was impressed that the batteries lasted the entire time. What a marketing ploy for Black and Decker.

Grandsons loved this. We took it on vacation and they were "pretend" fixing everything in the condo. Especially good for 3 year old who kept doing on our skin. Didn't hurt a bit. Very safe. Sounds real. Very fun.

I purchased this for my 3 year daughter as a gift from her newborn sister. My daughter has not put this toy down in over a month. She absolutely loves fixing everything. I bought it to go along with the Black and Decker tool box kit that included some play screws and other tools. She uses this drill to screw those items but if those aren't around she still loves to use the drill. In fact dad is building a shower and our 3 year old says she is building a baby shower since the gift was from her baby. This drill makes noises, moves and lights up just like her dad's drill. It's very realistic without being heavy and no parts that can come out and get lost. Great toy I'm so happy with this option!

This was a gift for our 2 year old grand daughter. Her Daddy is a mechanic, and she wants to work on cars with him and fix things around the house. When he gets ready to do a job, she grabs her tools, and goes with him. This drill is her favorite.

Really awesome toy! I got it (and the black and decker tool box set) for my 9 month old son who loves to tinker with things. He loves it and so does my 3 year old! I was amazed that it actually works to screw in the screws that are sold in the black and Decker tool box set. So fun!!
