I use this in the matching Eveready flashlight that I originally found this type of battery in. The original battery has lasted me probably 5 years with minor use. It stays in a cabinet kept in a temperature around 70° year round. I use it on occasion if the power goes out or if I hear a noise outside, so minor use where it doesn't burn for hours but only minutes at a time. The original battery is still cranking but the light is growing a bit dim now so I bought another just like it.

We needed a pair of these for a lantern and couldn't find them locally, so I pulled up Amazon on my phone and sure enough, there were quite a few to choose from. I added them to my cart and two days later (thank you, Prime!) they arrived along with a few other things I had carted.

Installation was a breeze and the lantern fired up first try. Each battery comes shrink-wrapped with a cap on the negative terminal that pops off easily.

Zero issues so far, and I'll certainly purchase them again when the time comes.

My son has been making electronic devices at his homeschool class and needed a battery instead of using my lantern battery to power the devices. Easiest way to get the battery, most stores won't sell just the battery. I love amazon!

I purchased this battery for a spare just before Hurricane Sandy. Arrived on time and works like a charm. Almost went blind when turning the flashlight on (pointed somewhat in my direction). I recommend this product, especially an Everready for this price?!!

Good battery, got a new one to replace the one in a big flash light we've had for years. It arrived quickly, I expect it to last a very long time just like the last one. It is a good price, it's powerful, easy to insert in battery.

I wasn't able to find this battery in a brick and mortar store, so I purchased it on Amazon and it has been working fine. I needed it for a camping lantern that we keep in around for those times when we lose power to our house.

I could not believe that a 6 volt battery could cost triple the cost of the lantern it came in! This battery was out of stock in all the stores in my area when I desperately needed it. And when it was back in stock, the price was almost $20 for just one! I stocked up here on Amazon and now have what I need plus spares. The shipping charges weren't bad for the five batteries that I purchased and delivery was prompt. I am very satisfied and would use and recommend this item again.
