The caliper feels solid in the hand. More importantly, it does the promised job : precise and accurate. Comes with different parameters : mm, inch, fractions. Comes in a protective case. Uses only a single LR 44 button battery. If there's a complaint, the instrument immediately turns on as soon as the rotating wheel where the thumb rests, is touched; it's that sensitive. So before putting this caliper away, slide the digital screen all the way to the left, then press the on/off button to turn it off.

The digital caliper from GlowGeek Tools will certainly come in handy both at my job and my husband's. All you have to do, is turn on the caliper and place the object with the jaws. Your readout displays the measurement. When measuring our tortoises, the precise reading allows us to correctly gauge the tortoises' growth. It measures in both metric or imperial units. The smaller jaw measurement capabilities is what my husband likes; perfect for ordering screws, nuts and tubing. He can know which to order based on inside and outside diameters. The carrying case is sturdy so you don't have to worry about damaging the caliper when in transport. If you need exact measurements, I highly recommend this product for you.

A caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object. A caliper can be as simple as a compass with inward or outward-facing points. The tips of the best digital calipers 2017 are adjusted to fit across the points to be measured, the caliper is then removed and the distance read by measuring between the tips with a measuring tool, such as a ruler.
