I bought this so I could get into my Lenovo laptop. I was very happy both with the screwdriver itself as well as the storage case. The case is unexpectedly nicely arranged and usable. Everything was just what I wanted! Too bad I didn't get it for free.

I just recently moved into my first house and you wouldn't believe how often I need a little kit like this. At my mom's, there was a much smaller kit that I used often and decided to buy my own. This kit is so much better because of the handle and it has many more options as well. My mom's old kit had about 8 tiny screwdrivers in it that were a little smaller than this as this one. They were also much thinner and without a grip which was awful on your hands. Since they were tiny little metal things, they tore up your hands when you had to unscrew something that was on tight and that is if you could even get a good grip on them in the first place, since they were so small and slippery. This one is still very little which is convenient for storing, while providing the prefect amount of grip which makes it much more comfortable to use. I also love the amazing case that it comes in, keeping the pieces nicely organized and safe from getting lost. I just tuck the whole thing into my junk draw until the next time that I need it.

I rely heavily on reviews, which is why I feel strongly about leaving honest reviews myself. My funds are limited, so I research a product extensively before I purchase it, which is why the majority of my reviews might be positive. However, I leave negative reviews whenever a product warrants it. Trust me, I get mad when I receive something that is not as I expected and I use reviews as a cathartic way to release my anger. Jakemy JM-8153 Precision Screwdriver Set is well made with quality metals. The tips are magnetic, great for laptop repairs. It helps me to completely dissembled a Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook with various star and Philips screw sizes. Highly recommended for laptop repairs.

I bought this after buying a cheap set from Walmart, needless to say the Walmart one was cheaply made and easily broken so I couldn't unscrew anything. But this one is great, it's probably not the best precision screwdriver set in the world but it does what I need at a price that is affordable. I'm really happy with it, I finally could open up a hard drive and other things that have special screws. I'be already used it 10+ times to fix different things, it has essentially paid for itself.

For those of you who like to build your own PC or help friends repair things, or you just like taking things apart to see how they work you won't regret buying it.

I'm bought this for cleaning up retro video game consoles. The inclusive of many different bits including the tri-wing. The only thing it lacks is the gamebit commonly found in Nintendo systems. But these are cheap and not a problem. Honestly I'm a bit surprised at the quality. The build of it is just fantastic. There's an amazing attention to detail. Like when you open the case the bits will come up, and when you close it the bits are secured by plastic tabs, so they don't move. I honestly don't know why someone would buy an ifixit set when this one is a much better price and the same build quality. Amazing.

I purchased this because one of the people where I work has a laptop and it has specific screws that you can't get in a standard screwdriver kit. Not only did it come with bits to open up and repair the laptop it came with bits that will get into the premium gear from other companies, I've opened Ipad's, premium Dell and HP computers with this, the tweezers are incredibly helpful in opening things as well. Overall if you need to get into something small and precise, this set is perfect.

I was very amazed at how accurately the bits were machined! Better quality than expected! Jakemy had great Customer Service! Sent me a new case when my case broke upon opening! Magnet works well. Nice variety of micro bits for small electronic gadget repair. Small toy or R/C tinkering! I think these are made in Japan with pro specs! Highly recommended and well worth the $$$!

If you are a professional and need the highest quality bits, this set is not for you. What do you expect for $10? But if you are tinkerer or home handyman, it is a bargain.

The case is NOT fragile as some other reviews say. Case is OK, the latch just has a bad kinematic design. The answer if to close it by first tilting the bit trays back a little with your right thumb. Then it closes easily.

This is exactly what you need to work on and fix a MacBook Pro. The mac battery has Y2 screws and this kit can handle them. I didn't realize it also came with needle tweezers so that was a nice surpise. I love this kit.

I needed a certain type of Torx screw in order to open my PS4, so I could do a deep cleaning. You get a lot different screwdrivers and they are all made really great. Ever since I bought this set, I been opening up a lot of different electronics I have around the house and clean the insides real good.
