Simple, functional hand crank flashlight

1. Tight cranking mechanism
2. 1 min crank = 1hr+ light
3. 1 min solar charge = 5-15 mins light (didn't get consistent results, probably due to different light levels at different times of day)
4. Bright LED light
5. Caribiner is functionaly

My only complaint with this little light is that the caribiner isn't very friendly. The gate should probably be rounder because it's tough to push all the way down. I would almost have just gone with a hook on the end of it and added a small aluminum caribiner for carrying with it like some other products do. That said, I really love everything else about this light!

We bought one of these at Christmas a few years ago, and loved it. We couldn't find it anymore, and were very happy to have found it on Amazon. It's great because you can use it as a solar light, or as a dynamo, crank it and it lights up. Best of all, no batteries!! We wanted to test the ruggedness, so we let our grandson, who is 3, use it all day, and it held up! We ordered 5, and will be ordering more as gifts. They're great for leaving in the glovebox because you won't have to worry about dead batteries.

LOVE IT....I have solar flashlights and now this one with hand crank and solar!! You can't lose. It has a built in carabiner for belt loops or to hang in your tent or in the car. Good sturdy hand crank. Some items this is where some products goes down to WORTHLESS. But this feels good and strong! IF it doesn't hole up I'll be back to post those very words. BUT so far so good. I use this when I take the dogs out at night for the walk. It is easily seen from a distance and beats any kind of reflectors I could add to each leash or their collar. I hooked it to my big guys collar one night for his walk.... worked great and I knew just were he was at all times.
I may buy a couple more to keep in my dog box for the other guys. Being solar and with a crank....it is all good. The dogs don't seem to mind the whine of the crank....they did come to investigate that sound though! IT'S a keeper...

So far I like it a lot.... thumbs up for sure!!

I guess i cant say enough good things about this little light. I got and played/wound it up for a while, then put it in my Pack. Months or so later, as im updating my bob.... here this little guy is. hit the power button, still charged and enough to get me back in from the garage.

Small hand sized flashlight. Has three lights inside that seem bright so far. Nice that it takes either solar charge or crank charge, so it can work at night even if it's not charged. I tried cranking it maybe 10-20 circles and it allowed it to have light with just that amount of cranking.

Works and doesn't need battery replacements. Great addition to my tackle box and fishing vest, for those just in case kind of moments. I have a flashlight on my phone, but I don't always want to take my phone out and play with it when I'm standing over water. This is perfect.

these are great. I bought one as a gift and then ordered 3 more. We have one laying in a window to keep it charged. It is amazing when the power goes out. Bright enough to help you find your way around .Living in a rural area that is often so we have used it several times.. Actually I was surprised at how bright this small flashlight is. Love that it can be cranked if the solar light dims. My grandson is working on becoming an Eagle Scout and takes this on his hiking trips. Hangs easy off of a backpack. The crank comes in handy when its late and you stop for the night. I would recommend to anyone looking for a light weight flashlight.

This little guy is great! It's so small but puts out some power! The crank is a tad noisy but it serves it's purpose well and I love that it has a carabiner attached. It clips perfectly to the strap of my Bug Out Bag! Will be great in emergencies and I won't have to worry about running out of batteries.

Works just fine. I have broken handles on similar flashlights in the past so I am careful, but this one seems strong and is working fine for the three months I have been using the flashlight. Nice to have a flashlight that does not run down batteries. Perfect size for the glovebox.

I just got this today and I gotta admit I was very skeptical about this purchase, but I was pleasantly surprised. This flashlight seems well made, and very bright for a crank flashlight. Will update when I've spent more time with it.
