Here are my results with various multitools:
Leatherman Super Tool 300: snug fit, not excessively tight, but you have to watch the lock release tabs when you insert the tool or they might catch on the sides. Leatherman sheaths have the same issue. The ST300 is very bulky, so you aren't likely to find many other sheaths that fit it.
Leatherman Surge: Perfect fit and the file/saw pouch fits nicely in the rear pocket of the sheath. It feels as if this sheath was designed specifically for the Surge.
Leatherman Wave/Charge: The sheath is a good half inch taller than it needs to be, but this doesn't affect its performance. The fit is snug enough that the tool doesn't wobble around in the sheath, but you can see that there's plenty of spare room. The result is that it's bigger on your hip than it needs to be, but it works fine, though I prefer the Leatherman Premium Leather and Nylon Sheath (the model without the elastic sides) for these tools.
Leatherman Blast: Despite being almost the same size as a Wave, the Blast fits more snugly and doesn't go in as deep, so you have the impression that less space is "wasted" at the top. Very good match for this tool.
Gerber Suspension: Because of the shape of this tool (it flares out at one end), it doesn't go in very deep and leaves about an inch of unused space at the bottom of the sheath (which isn't visible from the outside). But this also makes the tool fit very snugly in this sheath and, like the Blast, the fact that it rides higher makes it LOOK as if it fits better, when, in fact, it's the opposite. Notwithstanding the wasted space and being a good inch taller than it needs to be, it works fine with the Suspension.
General pros, that others have noted:
- very solid construction
- the rotating belt clip lets you carry the tool vertically, horizontally, or at an angle, and makes it comfortable when seated
- rear pouch is useful for thin accessories
- cloth loop at the top is useful for hanging the sheath off a hook or carabiner, though I wouldn't carry the tool that way
- the belt clip, once in place, stays in place; it won't slip off your belt
- button clasp instead of velcro
- the thick plate of nylon at the front is nice protection for your tool
General cons:
- it's big; it's definitely not a discreet sheath
- the belt clip stays in place too much; it's a pain to take off (it's easier to undo your belt and slide it off!)
- it's a bit on the heavy side when compared to other nylon sheaths, but not much more than a leather sheath
All things considered, I highly recommend it. I have two myself.

I bought this for the Gerber Diesel and it's a perfect fit! I was a little skeptical about the brand at first. But this holster is tough and rugged, way better than I expected. The holster opens up near the bottom to accommodate the points from the pliers; on a normal pouch the points will eventually pierce the holster and poke out, very annoying! The rest of the tool fits cleanly, snugly inside and there is no issue whatsoever in removing and inserting it. An awesome buy!! You'll be impressed with the quality as soon as it's in your hands!

I've been using it and carrying it on my belt for more than a year now (bought it back in January 2014) and it still in really good condition. I'm constantly getting in and out vehicles. I use it to carry my Leatherman Wave or Victorinox Spirit (depending on which multitool I feel like carrying that day).
Can't beat the price.

Carries my thin knife in the rear, plus whatever multi-tool I want to carry that day. Stretches to fit thin or thick tools. Has a flap with a locking snap so my tool wont fall out, and the belt clip swivels, so I can attatch it to my belt, pocket, or sideways on a strap of a tool bag.
Also, i found that it fits a standard double stack magazine for a pistol, if you want to use it for that.

I ordered this tool holster in conjunction with a new multi-tool (Gerber #01471) and it has multiplied the functionality of that tool immensely! The Gerber did come with a holster but I wanted something a bit more rugged. As an airline mechanic for a national carrier, it's very important to account for all of my tools, especially knives, as I leave the interior of an aircraft. Having a multi-tool handy on my hip at all times keeps me from dipping into my bigger tool bag as often. As advertised, this holster will accommodate virtually any size tool you'll want to carry. The belt clip swivels which helps when removing or inserting a tool and the snap on the flap is substantial and strong... a nice change from the velcro found on many holsters. It looks like it will last a long time even with everyday use. Definitely a winner!

This is my go to holster for all my flaslights. Thata the great part. This little guy can hold a little tactical light. And you can drop a 6D cell mag light in it. It expands for whatever you need. Just a great design.

Like other Nite-Lze products I've used, quality fit and finish is excellent, my Leatherman Rebar fits nicely and I love the fact that the flap has a snap instead of Velco. The design is such you can use it for other sized items within reason which causes it to have a little more bulk than your standard Velcro pouch. The belt hook is of the design that makes the pouch stay on until YOU want to take it off.

This is a well made fabric case. My husband uses it for his multi tool/knife.
The heavy duty snap works better than Velcro @ keeping the flap secure. He wasn't sure at first that the "clip on" was going to be comfortable, (last one slid on through his belt), but because the clip rotates 360 degrees, he can adjust it when he's sitting.

While others are using this for flashlights, I'm using this to hold my Alupen stylus, which I use to write on Swype keyboard. It make sense for me, particularly in the winter months when the air is cold and dry and I have to apply hand creme continually. That doesn't go well with S3 touch screen, so that why I need to carry a styluses around with me. The type of styluses I use are high quality and fairly pricey, so I wanted to give them better protection than just stuffing them in my pocket. So I looked all over the place and this is what works.

I was looking for a way to horizontally carry my 1.3 ounce OC spray on my duty belt. I like it up front on my belt but horizontally it digs into my waist in the vehicle. This was a perfect solution. It stays firmly in place and does not rotate unless I want it to. It fits my small canister of oc perfectly with the safety sleeve also.
Nite Ize makes great products. I also have one of their rotating flashlight holsters for my strramlight and it works great. Holds firm and has proven very durable. I've had it for over 6 years now. I highly recommend their products.
