Bought this for my shotgun, but will use it on my AR also. Takes less than 30 seconds to switch out. The fit and finish are really nice, and the thumb wheel is a plus. This is the same quality as some other more expensive mounts I've looked at. It's inexpensive, but not cheap.

Very versatile. Will old anything about 1-inch in diameter. Plantains, carrots, Jalapenos, cigars, big doobies, small vibrators, etc. Just think of the possibilities!
But seriously...
I'm not sure what makes this off-set light mount different from the other half-dozen similarly-priced off-set mounts on Amazon, but I like it. The price is right, it's less bulky and heavy than the off-set mount featuring a quick release lever, yet it can still be tightened or loosened without tools if desired. If you want to tighten it with a tool for real security, you can do that too using a small Allen wrench or pin inserted into one of the holes on the knurled knob and tightening.
Works great on a IWI Tavor and securely holds a Streamlight.
Cheers.

This mount IS everything as advertised.
Really shocked at some of the ratings and complaints about screws coming loose. Maybe some are just trying to make you buy a more expensive version. There should be a rule that if you didn't buy, you can't leave a review.
1st - It mounted perfectly to my picatinny rail (Solid and flush)
2nd - It holds my 1 inch light and could hold different sized lights if not exactly one inch (but not smaller diameters)
3rd - The screws - LOCTITE!!! There are hundreds of reviews for gun mounts and scopes stating that once you get the item in the position you want to LOCTITE the screws. These items don't have lock washers, so of course when you shoot 30 rounds out of your AK-47 they'll come loose.

I've had this for a few months now and here's what I think so far:
The quality on this is solid; all metal construction that is slick but durable which was a concern of mine when buying.
I also had worries about how well the quick tighten/release mechanism worked after reading reviews but again, rumors were only rumors. I can tighten the dial with only my hands and it holds well, it also came with a small alen-key for the screws but it doubles as a stick-in lever for those whose fingers can't grip as well.
I love the fact that it's offset, as it lets me put a small flashlight in (similar to those popular 9-led 3 1/2" aluminum flashlights, that have the on-off button in the rear/bottom) and turn the lights on with my pointer or middle finger when attached to my handgun. (which is what I bought it for, and it sits nicely under the front in one of the two open rail slats.
This model is marked for 1inch diameter, or 25.4mm and fits so; the flashlight I had intended for use with it was a few hairs bigger over so I'll need to get a 30mm or 1.18 inches which should fit better which those few extra hairs.I'll still hold on to this incase I come into a smaller flashlight that fits.

I wasn't sure how this would line up or work on my AR, but DAMN! this is the GO-TO to recommend for my friends now.
I have a Spikes Tactical M4 with a Trijicon ACOG and used a Surefire G2 NITROLON flashlight, since I had one laying around.
I figured I'd try the surefire first and then see what else I had lying around that is better, but it worked perfect, so I left it.
I was concerned that this would block the scope, or be in the way, but really, it's genius. it tucks out of the way of EVERYTHING.
I mounted it on the front-most slot on the rail which leaves me enough room to crank the end-knob into "ON" (not "momentary")
without hitting the rail-knobs that tighten the ACOG. I'd likely have to remove this from the rail to change the batteries, but I it literally would take 10 seconds, so no sweat there. I used blue locktite on the screws to tighten it onto the light, and it fits the surefire like a glove.
the NITROLON has an aluminum tube, so I was less worried that overtightening would pinch the batteries, but I didn't see any issues,
I went to "snug (plus 1/8th turn) with locktite" over "gorilla strength" though.
I did remove it from my rail and take the batteries out and put them back to be sure, but no hassles.
I didn't mount a remote momentary switch, because I don't feel that is one of my needs. I can touch the "momentary" button on the rear of the light if needed, but it is a bit awkward. maybe i'll rethink this down the road. we'll see.
anyway, back to the mount, it's kick-ass. very solid looking, and surely the light will come apart before this does. it mounts it RIGHT at 11 o'clock and snug down near the BBL without touching anything. it's SO close between the barrel and the sight that I was SURE I'd see it in the scope, but I dont, and at 25m the SPOT of the spotlight is dead center in the scope. it's damn near usable as its own sight. "spotlight em and fire!".
well done, Olight !

Bought this as I was beginning to tact-out my weapon. Fits nicely without any problems. I only had an issue with finding the right light to fit it since it isn't adjustable and only fits lights up to 1" in diameter. It doesn't have any lining so you may have to wrap some foam or something around your light to prevent scratching.

Took almost two months to arrived, but finally came! Fits perfectly to my "Ade advanced optics magazine tube rail mount." Solid lockup! Depending on the size of your light, you can always stick some cut pieces of bicycle tube as shims in between the light and clamp for a more secure fit. Great mount, Does the job!

This is one of those items that you either get a cheap version of a light mount, or you get something that is low cost, but has high quality manufacture and design. In this situation, this light mount is the later, wonderfully made and the fit and finish is first rate quality. I thought I'd give this a try, as the price was so low that I figured I'd buy 2 of them and if one failed, I'd have another one ready to go for less than other makers similar product. This mount fits easily on any Picatinny rail and I've already mounted one to my home protection shotgun. I really like the offset design as it allowed me to mount the light near the barrel, but with the light just slightly down and away from the muzzle, keeping the flashlight out of view when looking down the barrel. I used a Surefire 6P type light and this mount should easily and securely hold any 1" nominal diameter light you want to use. After getting the light mount and seeing the quality, I've decided to use the other one on my AR with a similar setup. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this mount to be much more than 'OK' and it's turned out to be very, very good, if not excellent. I bought 2 of them and should have gotten a few more, as I'm pleased with the quality and even more so with the Customer Service I received (first shipment was lost by the USPS) but after contacting the seller, they quickly replaced my order pronto. Can't wait to see what other accessories these guys make!

Great price, and on a scale of 1-10.....6. The quality is WELL worth the money. The reason for a 6 is the machining of the threaded areas could have a tighter tolerance, would recommend using a dab of medium loctite. I bought this to secure the below flash light....this clamp is quite a bit too small.

Well-made, solid mount. I'm using this mount in tandem with an M-LOK rail section and M-LOK Magpul handguard on my AR15. I've seen some people hate on lower end products like this and pay 4 to 5 times what you'll pay for this and what they end up getting is essentially the exact same product. Again, this is not your BCG or hammer or barrel or some other EXTREMELY crucial part of your AR that you need to be sinking hundreds of dollars into. This is a basic flashlight mount that is well made and super affordable at under $4.
