Received the S62 in a timely fashion. When I installed the chain, I was cutting a 24" trunk at dirt level with my 18" Craftsmen. The chain went through the trunk like warm butter. I have ordered several more to cover my future needs.

This chain was a nice upgrade to the original Poulan Pro chain that came with my chainsaw. It seems to spray out bigger chunks of sawdust, so not as much getting in chainsaw to clean up.

Just when I thought I had a defective chainsaw. The saw chain that came with my cheapy Poulan Pro (hey $150 is still pricey to me, even if it IS considered a low-end home unit) was a total pos and had to be replaced after the 2nd or 3rd use as it kept coming off and the last time it came off, it got bent making it impossible to remount. And yes, it was properly tightened.

I switched chains to some other brand (Carson? I think) that happened to be included in the saw's case, it was some kind of bonus from Lowes I guess, and was still having problems getting the chain to stay on. No visible problem with the bar or the chain.. Hmm..

Then decided to try one of these Oregon saw chains and WOW! What a difference. This chain went on quick and easy and does NOT pop off every 5 minutes after heating up and stretching (my guess as to why the other chains kept coming off!) It goes through lumber like a hot knife through butter. And it costs less than several other brand names. Very happy with the performance.

Glad I came across this brand on Amazon at such a low price, otherwise I would not have known that the brand of saw chain made such a huge difference.

This comes with a nice instruction page that includes what size file for sharpening. I had a very dull chain, and no idea which file size I needed for sharpening. I now have two chains, and will rotate them back and forth until I get to sharpening.
I give this five stars as it was priced right, and a direct easy replacement for my saw. I also like the plastic container you see in the picture. I put the old saw blade in it, and hung it on the wall—reuse being better than recycling.
If your saw is not cutting quickly, if it produces sawdust instead of wood chips, or if you just want a second chain while your other one is being sharpened, I recommend this.

Chain fit my 18 inch Poulan Wild Thing chain saw perfectly and it arrived faster than expected and it cuts through tree trunks and limbs like butter. Oregon has always made great chain saw chains and I have always been pleased with their performance. The Oregon Chain Saw Chain web site that I went to verified that the chain was the correct one and as delivered it id. I don't often use my chain saw but when I do I use Oregon Chains! XX.

I am very happy with these chains. They get twice the time between sharpening and they don't stretch as fast a others. They have more teeth and cut faster.. They last a long time compared to the chain specified for this saw.

OK, It's a replacement Chain Saw Blade. It works extremely well and lasts a long time if you keep it out of the dirt. Now-a-days, it is cheaper to have new ones on hand as sharpening old blades costs the same or more than a new blade for the non-commercial user.
For our lot, one blade has out-lasted 7 trees felled and cut into fireplace logs, average trunk base diameter 23" (ranged 18" to 30"), average height 28' and is still cutting nearly as well as it did when new.
