Very well-made knife. Many replaceable-blade knives like this one are made for skinning, so the blades are flexible and not made to handle any pressure when bearing down. This knife however has a strong steel spine so it handles well for almost any cutting chore. The only thing I don't use it for that I do use my other EDC knives for is cutting food. Since food gets caught between the blade and spine, I use a different knife or wash this one right away.
The blades are razor-sharp and last for a very long time. I finally changed one because I just wanted a newer blade, but the old one would have held up for another 2-3 months. The blade replacement process is very simple compared to other knives of this type too. Some require you to nearly break the blade to get it off, and I'm always worried I'll cut myself while changing them. This knife however is simple, fast, and safe.
For the money, this is one of the best knives to have for EDC. You can always have a razor-sharp blade and not worry about dulling it when breaking down cardboard boxes or something similar that dulls blades quickly.

best EDC knife I've ever owned. Sharp as balls, and stays that way.
EVERYONE tries to borrow your knife once the try this thing, so beware. Replacement blades are about $6, and you'll want to change them out maybe every month or so with heavy use. You can also sharpen them a little bit, but they do seem to chip easier than some other knife blades. Just buy it, and get one for your buddies so they won't borrow yours all the time. That's what I did.

I love this knife being part of my collection, the fact that I don't have to sharpen it if I want a fast sharp blade. the replacement blades being cheap enough to not have to worry as much either. I haven't used this new blade often but love it.
The biggest down side but not enough to knock a star from is the belt clip, I feel it is on the wrong side and should have the ability to be placed facing the other end instead. Depending if your right or left handed, or where you put it like in a back pocket instead of on a belt. This thing has the potential to open and cause a serious injury if placed in a pocket where the blade is able to open rather then be placed so the blade is facing the seem of the pocket so it cant open. And there is no safety button before opening.
I do wish they make a new model with a belt clip that is swappable for facing side, and also fast action open and close like the Milwaukee 48-22-1902 Fastback II Flip Utility Knife with Storage (2 Pack) which I also purchased. The difference between a knife with replaceable blades and utility knife that opens like a pocket a knife is the length of the blade. So depending what application you plan to use it for would probably determine why you would buy it. I mainly use this knife for opening letters and cutting wide tape. While the utility knife I use more on cardboard.

Shop Monkey love this knife! Blades are truly scalpel sharp, easy to interchange. Knife body is sturdy and blade fits tightly all while being nice and light! Shop Monkey found new EDC for sure! Order two, so you can sell to buddy monkey for twice the price, when he start drooling over yours!

This is a very cool knife, razor sharp, light weight good for most handy jobs as well as for hunting purposes and the best thing about the knife is that the blade is replaceable no more sharpening! I comes with 5 replacement blades which can be bought at Lowe's if you need replacements right away. I use mine daily at work, half the crew has one, a very convenient knife!

Awesome knife. Husband has one and we purchased several as christmas gifts. So far everyone loves them blades are SHARP and very easy to replace. Great gift especially for people who hunt and fish and are dulling knives all the time.

As a hunting / skinning knife, it's ideal. It's a good size (not too small not too big), lightweight, sturdy, easy to grip, easy blade replacement, edge is VERY sharp when new and reasonably durable in use. Also it's got ambidextrous thumb studs for one handed deployment.
As an EDC knife, I have a suggestion; make it a liner lock instead of a lock-back; that would enable one-handed closing.
Other than that small grievance, I think I have found my perfect knife.

Love it! The only difference between the edc model and the regular one is this one has a belt clip and doesn't come with a carry pouch.

These are some of the sharpest blades I have encountered. It is literally the last knife you will ever need as you can sharpen the blades, then replace them as they wear down. I've given these out to a dozen or so people as birthday and Christmas gifts, and everyone is super impressed by their quality and sharpness. Do yourself a favor and get one!
