I used this to single handedly disassemble my press-board laminate counter top, by using the edge to slice out the rubber grout and then using the sharp flat front edge to mow down the remaining caulk from the tile. When trying to to that by hand, or chipping away at it with a screwdriver head it was maddeningly frustrating. This bulldozed it in one long strip.
The following day, I used the flat side of this as a precise spackeling tool, and it cleaned up easy.
What a cool tool to have handy. It saved me a lot of time.

This tool is great for just about any type of scraping, smoothing, or cornering you may need to do on a DIY project. It was constantly passed back and forth when I was tiling my kitchen with some friends because people preferred it to other putty knives.

Scraping the bottom of a boat is never fun. This tool eased the pain a bit. It was able to get into those crevices and crannies, which is what I was hoping for. Plus, it is rigid enough to attack that nasty bottom paint and the handle is comfortable. All those things matter a lot after the first hour of so of looking up at crud.

Bought this version because it just looks like a classic tool. The metal is thick and doesn't bend. The front flat blade is very dull, about 1mm thick at the tip. I plan on sharpening mine if need be. On first picking up the tool, the plastic handle seam cuts into my hand. I fixed this by running the tip of a knife over the plastic edge to dull down the sharpness. Now it is a very comfortable handle to hold.
This looks like a tool my father would use. This tool could last 50 years if the handles were made of solid plastic.

Magic. I was crazy enough to decide to scrape popcorn ceiling on my own (after receiving crazy quote from a painting company). I read on Pinterest a lot and finally realized I need a tool like this one. I am so happy I got it! After wetting my ceiling, this little tool helped me get popcorn ceiling of in the hard to reach places like corners and around the lamp. For the big flat areas, I used a different one. I am pretty sure I will make a good use of it when it's time to even out some of that ceiling and paint. If you plan a project like this, do yourself a favor and get one. Here is a pic of ceiling before and after. The tool itself looks as advertised so I am not uploading it.

I basically use only the curved edge to scrape paint from the roller covers when finished painting. Great tool. Inexpensive as well as environmentally helpful when washing the covers. I will update this review as I use the other edges - especially when I use painter's tape for the trim.

A must have in the tool arsenal for any handyman. Stripping caulk, small mud work, scraping paint off glass and a long list of other things this little tool does. Good solid edges and doesn't flex when you put pressure on it.

I had this exact tool many years ago and recently I was doing some finishing and painting and I could not find this, so I used a regular scraper. What a disappointment. I need the pointy part of this thing more than I would have expected. Also, this tool is very rigid which can be a big help when using putty and scraping. The beveled edge on this is THE BEST for scraping. I'm so glad I saw it here on amazon. I will be keeping it somewhere safe. Oh, and the handle is much more comfy than my cheapo scraper. This is a very sturdy well thought out and well made tool.

Great little putty knife, I have a few others that are much more flexible, but I'm glad I have one that is really sturdy and flexes much less. Great for gasket scraping and cleaning, well built tough and easy to clean up and always a handy hang up hole.
