i spend a great chunk of my week working on laptops and to that end, need a good precision screwdriver set. i bought one (unknown brand) from a camera store about ten years ago that has been my 'go-to' set over the years, but as i get busier i need more sets around the shop and for my on-site bag. i've puchased a number of sets over the years only to have them fail nearly immediately (stripped tips every time) and really only purchased this set as a test. 6 months in and going strong and i've actually ordered 4 more sets for the shop because i've been so pleased.
the tips don't appear to be hardened (or magnetized) but have held up well so far. the case is nice and the entire set is amazingly lightweight. the drivers themselves are very easy to use with the swiveling, cupped, top being very comfortable and useful.
my only complaint so far is that they're actually TOO light. a little more weight would help with more difficult screws. that being said, i've only had to drop back to my old set twice in the last 6 months and both were on sony laptop drive carriage screws (which are notoriously tight).
well worth the money.

These are great for repairing the screws that fall out of eyeglass frames or for small electronics that have screws on the battery compartments. I have also used on watches to pop open the backs or replace batteries. The case alone is worth the price.

These are a good set of precision drivers. The contoured grip makes these a breeze to use on projects with ridiculous amounts of screws. The only bad side is that the wide grip can be too bulky in tight spots, but the comfort is well worth the trade off.

It has a different design for the cover. The one pictured has a plastic cover with a see through cover. The one I received is missing this and little kids will get to the too right a way. It has a latch that sits straight across. Look at the picture I provided, you'll see.

Are today's children truly so much more fragile and accident-prone that we have to lock down EVERY battery on earth?
Anyway, getting access to and changing toy batteries were driving us crazy. This little toolset now resides in the kitchen and makes that chore (and fixing loose glasses) a breeze. They are useful and well made - at the great offered price, am considering another to have one upstairs as well.

These screwdrivers are a great addition to any tool box. The tools themselves are well made, and the carry kit is a big plus. Nice to not have to chase small screwdrivers all over my precision tool kit.

I Got this on Monday and Tuesday AM opened my GOsmart OMRON [ASIN:B003NCSM3E Omron Hj-113 Pocket Pedometer, Walking Style, Black]], with just the perfect size tool, & changed the C232 battery ....all by myself! Now, I am 70 with arthritis in my right hand and a small task like this would usually mean another errand on my To Do List. As the full time live-in caretaker for my 96 yr old mom, ANYTHING that I can manage on my own is a joy. I chose this set because of the brand: Stanley, the case, the price and the simplicity of 6 tools. A bonus is the bottom of the case is marked so you just know where to put each size. I am an Amazon Prime customer and I appreciate reviewers comments because they help me know what to consider & what to avoid.

If you have a need for a small precision screwdriver set get this. The set is carefully packaged in a terrific case that is very well constructed. It gives you all of the right pieces and will be an excellent quality collection when you need to work small.

These fit my needs quite well for working on some small electronics - they are MUCH better than the cheap, common thin, all-metal precision screwdrivers that seem to be all over the place in hardware stores. These have bigger swivel tops so I can get some decent pressure on stubborn or tight screws, and the bottom of the shaft near the tip is enlarged so I can get a good grip and apply some decent torque. The bright yellow case and the bright yellow handles make it easy to find them when they disappear on my junked-up workbench.
These are a bargain and I've bought a few sets to keep on the bench and in a couple of toolboxes.

These are excellent little driver sets and when used properly will last. My first one is about 3 years old and still perfect, just use it accordingly and it's small, and small screws require less grunt.
The rotating end allows you to use your fingertip to apply downward pressure while a finger and thumb do the rotating, this is typical of many of these sets. What isn't typical is the fat rubber center to place said finger and thumb upon to rotate. This cheap plastic case also works wonderfully and has held up too.
They are not magnetic and the sizes range from eyeglass use to the small screws on laptops and other electronics, they cover about 98% of all small screws, but only slotted and phillips styles.
These are really great and I'm coming here to purchase my fourth set, not because I ruin them, but because I use them so often that I'm annoyed to have to go to another room to get them.
I'm a tech and have used drivers like this since the 70's, when they weren't so common, and I recommend that you buy two sets so that you can have them in at least two places around the homestead. But then again, maybe we need the exercise. Hmm, but not the frustration for sure.
I hope that all your online purchases go smoothly and turn out to be as useful as this one has for me.
