I love these small tools. I can use them on anything I need to file. I make alot of bead works and sometime a bead will have a small spot that catches on things. I have a file now for all size problems and type of material. I use them on wood, plastic and glass. These are great.

It's cheap and works. They aren't anything special but I have used them a few times in trigger work and other things and they seem to work well for light work.

In reading the reviews about two of Amazon's offerings, buyers said the edges were rough and needed some quick filing. The two products were the Lepai amplifier and a metal bottle opener. Sure enough, in a few quick strokes, jagged edges were smooth.

Reviewers of this product comment that this files are not suited for precision work. I wouldn't know since I not a tool guy. What I know is the rough edges of two different products were smooth in a few strokes. These are perfect for a guy like me that has the occasional odd project.

In previous eras, products were finished and had smooth edges. With foreign made, low cost products, the attention to detail is sometimes lacking. These little files allowed me to "finish" the job.

If you can't afford the $80 for a set of nut Files, these Tektron 6655 Needle Files are an excellent substitute. Several of the included files are ideal for cutting and fine-tuning guitar nuts, and with a little careful widening of the slot, will work well for bass guitar nuts. These are NOT the cheap dollar store files you may have tried before. For even twice the price, these are a real deal. Most highly recommended!!

These seem like the perfect thing for touching up 3D printed parts. They seem pretty soft as far as files go, so I wouldn't be using these on really hard metals all the time, but they work great for the little nooks and crannies on 3D printed parts. They also come in a nice little pouch that keeps them all organized.

While I'm giving 5 stars, I don't see these as a perfect product. There was what appeared to be a bit of grease or oil left on quite a few of the files when they were in the pouch. This was easily removed. Even though they're made of softer metal, they look like they will last a while with use only on plastics and wood.

A must for anyone who does 3D printing.

Several were bent - the round one, the one that most NEEDS to be straight, was severely bent. I like Tekton, but not this junk.

FOLLOW UP: I was contacted by Tekton IMMEDIATELY, offering to make this right. And they did. Thus I've upped my rating to 5 stars, based upon (1) the assumption that the replacement set will be fine, and (2) my long experience with VERY many Tekton tools and accessories, all of which have been uniformly flawless.

Way to go, Tekton - keep it up!

A must have for those who like to tinker. Especially for my fellow obsessive compulsive peers. The picture of this kit does not do it justice. There are files shaped for everything I have found so far. The rubber handles make the work easier and seem to stay in place so far. They also work great for picks and scrapers for hard to reach places. I for see an issue with their carrying case however. They are very sharp and will eventually push through.

I'm a maintenance technician and need small files for some of my work and when I saw these I had to purchase. I've been purchasing more and more Tekton tools over the last two years and I've never been disappointed.

These files are about 7 inches long and the rubberized handles come in handy quite often. I also love that they come in a plastic carrying case.

They've been holding up well and if I had to purchase again, I would buy these, no questions asked.

These are a great needle file set. They are all sharp, smooth cutting/filling action and comfortable to hold and use.
All of them look like they are well made and should last a while...depending on what you use them for and how much pressure you use.

The price is great for a set like this. I am really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it.
