I bought two of these so my four year old and 2.5 year old could participate more fully in the leaf-raking ritual. They LOVE their rakes! They run outside to use them when I tell them it's raking time, and the rakes keep them busy and out of trouble and within my sight while I do most of the raking. Plus, the rakes really do work. My kids like to make their own leaf pile to jump in while I take care of the rest of the yard.
The edges of the rake are a little sharp, so if your child is too young, or waves the rake around near faces, they could get hurt, but mine have kept their rakes on the ground after rake orientation.

Packed loose in a large box. A few tines were out of alignment when it arrived. I pushed them a bit, and everything lined up just fine. Seems just as sturdy as any full sized rake from the hardware store.

Bought this so my toddler could help us out in the yard. it is a real rake so be aware that it is kind of sharp. It is a nice piece of work and we forgot about it outside in rough weather for a week and it did not show any signs of wear or damage. Much nicer than the toy plastic ones.

I purchased this so my son could help me out in the yard while I was raking leaves. Of course, he just ends up jumping in all of the piles, but isn't that part of the fun?
At three years old this rake is a bit big for my son but he can still grasp it easily and will grow into it. It is well made enough for the cost and I am happy with the purchase.

My 2.5-year-old granddaughter watched me rake and wanted to help, but of course, the grown-up size is just about unmanageable for little ones, so I bought her this one, and she loved it. Got right to work raking the leaves.

Big gardening project on our school campus, with all staff and students working together. These worked great for that day, and will again for future gardening activities. These were perfect for the K-3 kids.

My 2 year old loves her rake! Now, she can help us in the yard without struggling with adult-sized equipment. Once she's too big to use it, it will be a great tool for me to use to rake under bushes and in landscaping. It's a great product.

My 2 and 4 year olds loved this rake. I bought them each one. They're real metal and feel just like the grown-up version. They also act really well when used together to scoop up leaves and lift them into bins/bags.

Bought this for my grand daughter for Christmas as part of a package with other house keeping tools. (she is 4 & wants to use the broom all the time!). She loves it. We had to hide it until Spring because she wanted to rake the floors!
