This little puppy is nearly too much fun! As a contractor, I've owned Milwaukee tools for decades, and each one has lasted. And lasted. But they've typically been heavy and, like any corded tool, sometimes a challenge to power up. Not this little guy. All I need is one of the M18 batteries I've got from my other new cordless tools. Yes, the blade is small, but it's big enough for 2x stock, and there's plenty of power, and if I've got to cut something larger, I've got plenty of other options. Only time will tell how this will hold up, but for the moment, it's my go-to circular saw. Well balanced and light. For under $150, it's a no-brainer. Love it!

I had used a B&D 5.25 inch "Firestorm" 18v circular saw for several years. It was not much good at anything - bogged-down easily and devoured the old NiCd batteries in a few minutes. I bought this Milwaukee 6.5 inch as part of my update of my tools to Li ion technology, for which I had chosen the M-18 battery series. My first use of this saw was for Trex decking, for our new porch/deck. The saw cut smoothly, effortlessly, and kept going all day! Never bogged-down or appeared to be stressed at all. Powerful! What a contrast!!! I love the really solid rip fence. The saw is easy to use, and appears to be really well made. And did I mention - powerful!

Milwaukee makes the best power tools period, corded or battery operated. As a professional I have to use drills, saws, impact guns & grinders everyday & Milwaukee has the best by far. They cost more than the others & there is a reason - quality. Amazon had a better price than anyone, & I mean anyone because I researched before I bought.

I have been buying Milwaukee for many years. I have yet to be disappointed. This saw is nice and light weight and seems to have sufficient power. I bought this one because it uses a common battery (M18 XC) with some of my other tools. The brake takes some getting used to. It stops the second you release the trigger.

I hardly pull my corded circular saw out anymore. This saw is accurate and holds a charge well (much better than the 14.4 volt piece of yellow trash I had before). Very convenient to use.
Edit: nearly two years later, I have since given away my corded circular saw. I use this for everything from construction (using a Dewalt construction blade) to fine cabinet cuts (using a Freud fine-cut blade with a straight edge). Batteries hold up well and take only a short time to recharge.

I typically don't buy any of the FUEL tools from Milwaukee because they are so much more expensive!
But this one still has enough power to cut through common 2x4 and 2x6 and 2x8. If you cock the saw in the middle of a cut, the saw can bind and stop. I believe this is the case for most (if not all) cordless circular saws.
Blade that came with the unit is very sharp. Comes with Allen wrench that neatly stores in the handle.

Arrived well before estimated shipping date, in great packaging.
Powerful little saw - great for doing overhead work, or for when you don't feel like dragging out a cord (or turning on the noisy generator).
Ergonomic, light, and feels hefty and well made. Blades were easy to find on both Amazon & at the local big box tool store. The blade that ships with the unit is decent, so we'll see how long it lasts!
Pleased so far!

This was a gift for my husband. And for the first time HE LOVED my present! That has never happened before. Though he loves everything Milwaukee! You can't go wrong with Milwaukee! They make the best tools! I did spend the extra money to send the saw faster, so it took 4 days to get it. So all in all very happy!

I finally broke down and purchased this Milwaukee 2630 cordless circular saw. It was one of my better decisions, as it comes in more than handy when working on a project outdoors. I haven't used it a great deal except to cut some 2 x 4's, but it has plenty of power and easy to use.

Surprisingly this saw packs some very good power using my 18V Li-Ion batteries.
I love the fact that the blade is on the left side of the saw so I can see my cut line without looking over the saw.
No regrets.
