In my opinion this is one of the best drills you can buy for diy projects. I previously owned a Dewalt 18v cordless drill which I loved, that drill took an enormous amount of abuse. When that finally died I decided to try something smaller. I do not miss that extra size, weight or power I had with the Dewalt. This drill is perfect for everything I need it for. If I were using the drill everyday all day I would have purchased another 18v but don't let this drill fool you it has plenty of power and so far the battery life has been great.

If your looking for a light compact all around great drill/ hammer drill. Then u have stumbled on the perfect product. I have multiple 12v fuel products. And the are by far the best power tools I have purchased hands down. You will not be disappointed be ready to leave the heavy 18v at home. To give you an idea of how great fuel 12v are. I removed lug nuts on my work van when it got a flat. With the impact 12v and this drill def is worth every penny

The big decision was if I needed the hammer option. I have a cheap corded hammer drill but when I need it I can never find it or left it at home. This replaces my heavy 14.4v Milwaukee drill and I can't believe the increase in power and run time. I still need the old one for the 4" hole saw but for 99% of my tasks this is the drill. The 1/2" chuck is sweet and there is no visible run out. I sleep with it under my pillow and it's so compact I hardly know it's there. Pull the trigger, this is it!

I use this drill every day and it has not failed me yet. a great tool with out the weight or wear and tear on your wrist and arm.

I bought the drill originally for its compact size and hammer drill feature (though I didn't think it would work well given it's small size and voltage) but wow was I wrong this thing blasted through concrete floor with a 3/8 in bit in one second flat. When hanging dry wall I over drilled a screw and it torqued my wrist powerful and compact why would I reach for my 18v set anymore? Just buy it !!

I got this as part of a bigger m12 kit. I've been using a 19v system for years, but wanted a wider ranging system. Overall, while i wouldn't claim this to be as powerful as the 19v system, it doesn't feel that far behind! Here's my thoughts:
-Smaller/lighter than my old 19v driver
-Feels like a lot more power than 12v should be
-Ergonomically excellent in the hand
-Only goes up to 18lbs of torque, but that's enough for MANY applications
-Hammer driving built in with a switch.
-Led light absolutely comes in handy
-Power indicator takes guesswork out of how much battery is left
-Battery last a long time, especially the high capacity ones.
As you can tell, i seriously love this driver. I'm a home user, so not big projects, but i've built a table and drilled though many different types of materials with this drill. I'm definitely a fan and highly recommend it.

Works really well at drilling, driving, and hammer-drilling. Most hammer drills feel cheap when drilling with out hammer mode. This works so well, it makes me think I should sell my non-hammer m12 fuel drill.
Drills fine with 1inch spade bits through 2inch pine. Cuts out intermittently with 1+1/8" spade bits (possibly damaging battery/drill according to the manual). Drills through mortar pretty easily, and through brick reasonably well which is great for such a small drill. It's no rotary hammer but hey, it's only 12V.

While a bit larger than all the other M12 tools I have, this combines the high speed drill, hammer driver, and clutch driver all into a single tool. My new go-to M12 device and I only grab this one anymore as it is so incredibly capable. Couple that with the brushless motor long run-time on the same batteries and huge torque and you have a stellar tool that beats most others in my arsenal.

This tool is perfect for working overhead. I use it with a drywall screw attachment to install drywall (the side clip is really helpful). The drill is light and is great to use when you have to get into hard to reach places. When I first used it I thought it was as powerful as my M18 Fuel drill. I compared them side by side and it is not, but you wouldn't think that you only have 12 Volts at your disposal. Mine came with a durable carrying case, charger, and two Lithium 2.0 batters (one high capacity and one regular M12 battery). If you are just a home owner, this all you need for weekend projects. This could save you money by not having to buy a larger cordless drill. Milwaukee hit the ball out of the park with this drill.

This drill. Where do I start. Its milwaukee so the quality is top notch as to be expected. The power this little 12v drill has is incredible. Some days I question if its really only 12v. I am a maintenance and laugh when I see other techs with 18v drills. They use my drill and realize why I laughed. This drill is for daily work and will do anything outside of major construction you need it to. Get the extended battery while your at it!
