Superb tool. The two of us each have one. One of the best saws I have ever used. Somehow it is much more accurate than your high-end jigsaw or other handheld power saw: I can cut on the line, any straight or curvy line, across an entire 4x8 sheet of plywood - as is necessary when making boats, for instance. It is not daunted by thick or hard wood. It is not fast, which may be part of the advantage. It is also very good at tiny detail trimming, where you might think of using a scroll saw or handheld fret - for instance roughing out a violin or 'cello bridge (which you finish with a file). It is probably not built for the tough demolition work that I have put it to - tearing down walls and cutting up derelict boats (where you would ordinarily use a tiger saw) - but it has not lost its accuracy, just looks real beat-up and the removable transparent guide has gotten messed up. A great tool.

Love this saw. So simple to use and change the blade in 3 seconds. Good power with the battery, which is surprising to me. I have a good quality elec model that I don't use much because it's a pain to deal with and clunky. You can throw this in your tool bag. Comes in handy all the time

Great jig saw with lot's of power. Don't buy this bare saw though. Buy the kit for $20 more and get a battery, blade and carrying case. You do need a case and the extra battery is nice. I had to buy a case separate so read the description carefully before buying this version.

I really do love the saw. It is so nice not to have to drag an extension cord around.

This is an excellent jigsaw, meaning it is an *outstanding* cordless jigsaw. Plenty of power for everything I've thrown at it, exceptionally easy to control thanks to its superb ergonomics, and impressively efficient based on battery life.
Factor in that Milwaukee's stance behind its products and its customer service and support are among the best in the business, and this tool is a slam dunk. I recently lost the acrylic "anti-splinter device" that ships with this tool (which has proven very effective) on a job site. I contacted Milwaukee via their website to inquire if it was possible to obtain a replacement, and within hours they had not only responded, but informed me they were shipping out a replacement- free of charge! It's a rewarding feeling when both a product and the company that makes it exceed your expectations.

Even if I wasn't heavily invested in the Milwaukee M12 system, I'd buy this tool or the similar model from Bosch as a stand-alone tool. It's that good. Buy it along with some high-quality blades and never look back.

Quick shipping, greats communications from seller. This little jig saw works great for what I needed. I fix things around people's houses and the portability of the unit is just what I needed. Since I already owned a drill, I had the necessary batteries.

Purchased as a gift. Already have one and am most pleased with its performance and size. Not too small and definitely not as cumbersome as the larger versions.
