When compared to a car this is like a bmw m car. When it is set in speed 1, it works like any other drill and then some.
Just like the car, when you press the "M" but with this drill set speed to 2 and turn the torque to 24, hold on to your butts, all hell will brake loose. The sound when you press the trigger is like a ferrari engine and that drill bit going in the wood is like the tires of a mustang screeching. Oh men. I love this drill. Kiss it after i clean after a whole day working with it and put it away in its milwaukee tool bag.

Works great! I live Milwaukee tools for their quality and design. I use this drill often for projects around the house. Has never let me down. Constantly putting this thing to work drilling pocket holes, screws, and also use it to drill ice holes in the winter. Thing is a beast. Highly recommend

WORKS PERFECTLY
if u get a jam, get an emulsifier that has foam and insert into the teeth of the drill. put the drill. vice it it and dont go over 24 on the wrench and untighten, done.
in order not to get a jam, just manually tighten, and click, that's it dont go over the emergency click and tighten too much, then it will jam like anything out there, unclick, and your changing the bit no problem, hope this helps...

I've used an old Milwaukee 0624-20 hammer drill for a little over 10 years. Worked very well. But the batteries finally gave up the ghost.
At over $60 each, I thought I might as well get a new model. I was going to get a 12v fuel, but stumbled onto this one.
I read the reviews saying it was a bit too powerful for home use, but in the same price range at the 12v, I figured ' go big or go home ' so I did.
I've used it for only a weekend, but it's proven to be much better than my old one, and the extra power is handy to have when you need it.
It's much lighter, and more compact than my old one, no more arm and shoulder fatigue.
The chuck is a little loose, but if you set the bit correctly, it's a non-issue.

I love this hammer drill driver. This is a 2nd generation M18 hammer drill for Milwaukee. It has 1200 in-lbs of torque compared to 725 in-lbs. for the older 2604 model. It performs superbly drilling both 7/8" holes and 2 1/8" holes. This hammer drill is much more powerful than the previous model. The all metal ratcheting chuck works extremely well. It holds onto the bits no matter how hard of jobs I have given it. Recommended!
