I am a professional contractor and use this saw almost daily.
I was at first on the fence about adding this saw to my kit due to my previous experience with 18v cordless circular saws. as they were about worthless for anything more than a quick cut or two. I was however so impressed with the Milwaukee fuel drill , impact driver and sawzall that i decided to give this saw more consideration, and I am very glad i did.
The saw is very well made, feels great in your hand and is light weight. I put the saw to the test this past winter and this is my results.
First, let me saw I live in North Dakota. The project I used this saw for that really sold me on it was last December framing and finishing a garage that had the slab poured before freeze up. The saw has effectively replaced my corded saw pretty easily. The saw was able to hold it's charge in very cold temps, was able to cut anything I put in front of it, and only need the battery replaced once in a day( I was using the 4 amp batteries)
The entire job was framed and sheated using this saw and it never skipped a beat. I have since then never brought a corded circular saw with me.
The pro's of this saw are:
Light weight
well built
comfortable to use
as powerful as a corded sidewinder circular saw
has a very good led light
No cord to get in the way
can take anywhere on the job and not need an outlet for extension cord.
uses a 7 1/4" blade
and this is an important one to me, the blade stops immediately when you take your finger off the trigger.
I can't find a con because the saw is worth every penny.
I don't feel there is another saw like it on the market, and would purchase again without hesitation. I can say for the first time that a cordless 18 volt saw can replace it's corded counterpart.

As someone already wrote this is a right-handed saw. If you were to use it left-handed all the chipscand dust would be sprayed at you. Only made a few cuts so far, but I can tell I'm going to really like it. It has a gear drive which when you let off the trigger the blade stops almost immediately. Only thing I found that could be a problem is the blade wrench doesn't lock in tight when stored.

I'm a homeowner and will use this saw periodically. I only performed some test cuts. It performed well and having a cordless saw will be very handy. The build of the saw is very nice. It's obvious that the quality is top-notch.

I absolutely love this saw. With my 4 amp hour battery, it does plenty of cutting before the battery gauge lights show any sign of drainage. I love how if I need to make 2 cuts, I don't need to drag a power cord out to the shed. I just load a battery and make my simple cuts. It has plenty or power too! Love this tool!

I love to power and ease of use. I recently spent 8 hours behind this saw and it performed flawlessly!

Lots of juice. I love the right hand blade, as that's what all my other saws are. Very nicely balanced, heavy like the corded brother, and enough power so you don't notice you're unplugged.

you won't be disappointed with this tool, cut the cord, by far the best, I never get my corded saw out anymore.I do use my 5.ah battery with this saw and works great.

This is a powerful saw that compares to corded saws for power. Even though batteries last fairly long, it is a good ideato have one charging while using one.

Milwaukee tools - all of the tools I have with the Milwaukee label are excellent. The 2731-20 M18 is the best and I have owned several other brands

After all, my wife and I have gone through close to a dozen hand-held pruning saws during the 20+ years we've lived on our property. Those pruning saws always cut well when new but seem to get dull very quickly. With their close set, needle-like teeth they're also difficult to sharpen - and I've sharpened regular saws using saw sets and files. Eac...
