I had to just guess that this thing would work on the new Fuel tools. Nowhere did it give a p/n for the accessories for Fuel. But, now you know that is does work. Not only is this a great accessory that is a must have, it works great on the 18v Fuel impact driver. I think it would likely work on the drill/driver as well. I haven't tried it though on that tool... AS for function, the holder is just that... It is as pictured, and the mechanisms are very tight. I doubt it will be losing any bits anytime soon.
That said, I must respectfully disagree with one of the reviews on this tool accessory. One person disliked the tools due to a screw issue. Well, I can only see a few reasons for that... 1. It was a defect (which happens), and if it was, you should have returned the whole thing and got another... Or, 2. It was overtightened and either stripped or rendered the lock nut useless.
Either way, I think the design is just fine. I don't see the method of attaching it as flawed at all. The holder isn't relying on the one screw for support. The plastic on the tool and the plastic on the holder are designed to mate one within the other. The screw simply holds them together. Force should be directed on the notches, not the screw. On mine, it attached just great and hasn't come out on my impact. I can't think of a driver that vibrates more than an impact... Remember folks, the screw is steel, and the female on the tool is just brass. Over tightening is not necessary, hence the lock-washer. Go to snug and call it a day. If you are worried about it staying fast, re-torque it as you would a new car wheel at least once after some use. Remember, brass is much softer than steel... For the gentleman who had problems, I would suggest rather than trying to get a replacement screw from Milwaukee, try going to Fastenall or some other bolt store and get a replacement. If, the brass is stripped on your tool, you can fix that too. But if it is, then it shows you likely overtightened it.
Just my two cents... Hope that info helps. I would highly recommend and will likely buy another.

These are pretty well thought out bit holders. They attach to the M-18 tools at the base right above the battery pack in the brass screw holes reserved for this purpose. Unlike some other drills, Milwaukee's M-18s ergonomic design doesn't waste a lot of plastic to mold in a built-in bit holder, hence the need for this option. It does add some bulk to the side of the drill, so it may not be optimal for your particular holster needs. I like these bit holders so much that I have them on all of my Milwaukee M-18 tools. I also have the Milwaukee Belt Clip/Hooks on the other side of the lighter M-18 tools (Milwaukee provides a screw hold on both sides of the base). I have two 2650 impact drivers, several 2601 series drills and 2602 series drills, and the 2615 right angle drill. Of all these, this bit holder works on all except the 2615 right angle drill. I mention this because Milwaukee markets this bit holder under several different product numbers for the different M-18 series. As near as I can tell, it's one-size fits all. If there's any difference, it's negligible. I can't speak to the rest of the Milwaukee M-18 line of drills/drivers/etc. as I don't own any - but these definitely work on the 2601, 2602, and 2650 series.
The holder retains both 1" and 2" hex recess bits (2 of either) Longer bits would fit, but might snag clothing as the slots are not much wider than the 2" bits. I think that these bit holders (and the belt clip/hook for that matter) are very useful options for the M-17 series. Recommended.

Fits more Milwaukee drills than the description. Will fit any of the drills with the two hole/one screw hold on the side. Nicely form fitted to the tool and holds it securely. The screw comes with a washer but toss the washer, it raises the screw head to where it makes contact with the lower bit...it still holds the bit in place but it won't sit straight. It nicely fits a 3.5" bit on the bottom where the bit doesn't extend past the battery and a 2" bit on the top.

One of the most important tools i have. Truck with $15k of tools on it and this might be my favorite.lol I install windows and constantly switch from pillips #2 to recess #2. Nothing makes you cuss more when you put in a window then realize you cant screw it in. This thing makes life so much easier. Never have to account for the bits you constantly use.

Gotta have this for your regular duty drills and drivers. Always found it odd that Milwaukee doesn't include these with the sale of their drills (at least from my experience in a retail setting), oh well, just glad It's available for purchase.

Now 1/4" drive impact is the perfect tool. Not sure why this isn't standard equipment. Holds 1/4" hex bits securely installs in seconds and still fits tool hardcase.

Yep, this is what you are looking for. Fit my m18 impact driver like it was designed to do (which it was). Why does Milwaukee NOT include on on every tool!?!

The bit holder is great, clamps extra phillips and square drive tips securely. Only thing that annoys me about this is Milwaukee doesn't include it with the drill as DeWalt does.

why would you not have this on your impact driver to cary spare bits around????? Duh. This holds three bits that don't fall out on there own. Great product, easy to install.

Perfect for my drill. I've been annoyed that I can't carry both a flat head and phillips bit with me, but now I can. This works great!
