This is probably the nicest set of screw drivers you will find for less than $40. Sure, there are better drivers out there, but they cost double or triple the price of these. Nice hard tips and straight through design, should you need to take a hammer to one to "create some threads" in a stubborn screw. Nice selection of sizes and very comfortable to hold and use. Highly recommend!

I don't necessarily use tools a whole lot (it's not my trade or anything), but I'm a homeowner and a homeowner definitely needs screwdrivers for various tasks. I used to buy cheap-o tools because I didn't want to spend tons of money on items I didn't use a lot. Plus, I had a tendency of somehow losing tools. The downside of buying cheap is that the metal would bend and/or the tips would break if too much pressure was applied. I've used these on really tough screws and I've never had any bending of the shaft or any breaking at the tips.
I absolutely love that they've marked the ends with what kind of screwdriver it is. I finally invested in a toolbox which severely cut down on my "where the frak did I put that frakkin philips head?!" moments, but I can't put all of these in it facing the same way on its storage shelves or it won't close. I alternate their directions and the marked ends make it so I can easily determine what I'm looking for without having to pull them all out to see what they are. I haven't used the wire stripping and wire bending features at all, so I can't vouch for their performance, but I would imagine it's a nice feature to have built-in.
I'm sure there are better tools with a much higher price tag, but for my uses, these have worked great!

I am an electronics tech in a maintenance department and this is by far the best screwdriver set i've ever owned. Very comfortable grips and the quality is easy to see and feel. Everyone thats used them says the same thing, just how well made they feel and work. They are used hard at least 5 days a week and the tips are as crisp as the day i received them. I am really happy I made this purchase.

I recently purchased this screwdriver set from a big box store after viewing it on Amazon's site. It was pricey online. Sometimes the local depot is the place to buy......just sayin'

A bit pricey but worth it. I really appreciate the metal insert in the handle where you can tap it with a hammer (if necessary) and you won't destroy the handle. The metal ends are cross checked for greater "grab" and are perfectly matched to the screw heads. And with the grafic of the purpose of the screwdriver on the end, you can put them into a holder (handled side up) and still grab the correct one. Neat set. RHF

I have always bought Sears Craftsman tools and have never been disappointed but, I wanted something even better. The Milwaukee screwdrivers are excellent. These are for home use. The material quality is top rate. They feel good in the hand. I doubt I'll ever have to buy another set of screwdrivers unless I lose these. Amazon shipping was quick.

These are my new go-to screwdrivers. The tips are crisp and defined and they really grip the screws very well. I would go so far as to say this has the best #1 (size) screwdriver of any I've ever gotten. The handles are a comfortable size and shape and the weight is exactly right. My previous set of screwdrivers was also comfortable to hold, but the tips were not as perfectly shaped and so they would not grip the screw as well = they would slip more.
I haven't made use of any of the wire stripping/bending features, but as a screwdriver, these tools leave nothing to be desired. Recommended.

I usually get the cheapest screwdrivers available to do a specific job, but I understand now why people pay more for them. These things are solid and feel great in your hand. There has been no slippage when I've been using them, and the tips fit perfectly in all the screws I've used them on so far; this means no stripped screws, and I haven't slipped and gouged anything when trying to torque down on a screw.
The screwdrivers also have wire strippers on them; I haven't had a chance to use those yet, but I'm sure they're going to come in handy shortly.
If you're in the market for a new set of screwdrivers, don't be like me and go for the cheapest set you can find - definitely get these instead.

I got the Milwaukee 48-22-2008 8 Piece Screwdriver Set to replace a more expensive set that I have been frustrated with for the past year because they did not grip the screws well. The Milwaukee screwdrivers have solved this problem nicely. Screws that were stubborn before with the older set are easily removed with this new set. They fit almost every size screw and do not slip out or strip the top screws, either.
There are other favorable features. The handles feel very comfortable and allow a great deal of torque when tightening or loosening a stubborn screw. The markings on the top of each screwdriver allow for easy identification, and the wire stripper came in handy when I was replacing speaker wire.
8 Screwdrivers Included: #1 and #2 ECX (4"), #1 and #2 Phillips (3", 4"), 1/4" and 5/16" Slotted (4", 6"), 3/16" Cabinet (3", 6")
These screwdrivers feel very solid and durable. They advertise that these have a shock resistant steel cap that provides extra durability when struck on the handle. I am pleased with this set and highly recommend these Milwaukee screwdrivers for all needed repairs.

As I'm an electrician, I had been wanting to try the ECX bit. At least one size of the ECX is included in the Milwaukee 11-in-1, but I've never been a fan of multi-bit screwdrivers, so I figured I'd give this set a try.
I've been using these a couple of months now, and am quite happy thus far. Being that I use my screwdrivers all day, every day, durability is very important, and these are holding up nicely. They're very comfortable in my hand, the handles being well-proportioned. The bold tip designations on the butt ends of the handles make them very easy to distinguish when in the pouch or tool bag slots, which is very important in a pro application.
They have a stout feeling to them, despite being rather light, other than the 2 with the striking cap. I don't use my screwdrivers as chisels, but still it's a nice feature.
Several of them have both integrated wire stripping notches and wire bending holes. I use dedicated strippers, but I did try both features and believe they work adequately. As for the 2 ECX drivers, I am loving them. The smaller one has gotten a ton of use in the short time I've had them, installing switches and receptacles. You can put a lot of torque to the fastener without fear of cam out.
I suppose time will be the true judge of how these hold up to day in, day out use, but at this point, I definitely recommend giving them a try.
