This charges both M12 and M18 batteries. It charges them sequentially not at the same time. It charges them first in, first out. If you have 2 batteries in it will charge one and automatically start the other.

I hated lugging around two chargers. Now this thing makes my life that much simpler. I also like plugging it into my power inverter and charging on the way to work with it.

Bought this to charge the power pack for my 18 volt Milwaukee hackzall. Got the power pack, charger and hackzall all for a sort of deal even though they were not all from the same vendor. Anyway, this charger gets the power pack up to speed quickly. I like the light that indicates when it is charged. It can also be used for Milwaukee's 12-volt power packs. Though I don't have any 12 volt Milwaukee tools at this point, it would come in handy for those as well.

its not like you have an option. there is no other charge that works with the battery indicated. but still, milwaukee has a great reputation. in case you don't know, the brand is produced by a parent company that owns most power tool makers. just fyi. but that doesn't diminish the quality. milwaukee is my tool of choice in most instances.
as to what it does, charge your battery, it is great. it does it. quickly. that's it. nothing else to ask for.

If there's one thing to lock you into a brand of tools, it's the batteries. No one wants to have a bunch of different chargers on a job site for a bunch of different brands of batteries. I've been using Milwaukee tools for the past eight years, and I'm sold on their quality and durability. I mostly use 18V drills, but over the past three or four years, have started using quite a few 12V tools, like a jigsaw, oscillating multi-tool, and small drill/screwdriver.

I just replaced two 18V chargers and two 12V chargers with two of these combo chargers, and couldn't be happier. Not only am I carrying around less weight and taking up less space in my tool box, but when there are limited outlets available on a job site, I can charge four batteries on two outlets instead of four. I do wish that it would charge the 18V and 12V batteries simultaneously instead of one after the other, but they do charge fairly quickly so it's usually not a problem.

I'll definitely be buying more of these as I get more tools.

Thank you! Fast delivery, great price on what must be Milwaukee's "Past Season" model, making way for a newer model that charges in even less time. I'm not picky -- if I'm organized and have enough spare battery packs, I always have enough power backup when I'm out on a job.

I love that it combines the two battery chargers into one. This alone made me want to buy other Milwaukee cordless tools. No mess of chargers and batteries. It won't charge them both at the same time, it will wait for the other depending on what order you put them in. Also I put in a really cold battery once and it waited for it to be warmed up again. I like these kinds of "smart" features. It also charges my M18 battery much faster than expected, only a short wait until you are back to full power again.

I am a slightly handy granny. This little tool is easy and simple to use with the hackzall that I purchased. I am using it to cut/prune small trees and some shrubs. It is lightweight and easy to use. I like it. I am amazed at how quickly it recharges. Super.

I purchased this charger cause I wanted something I could take with me if I were traveling somewhere. While charging both M12 & M18 batteries. I grew tired of removing both of my M12 and M18 chargers from the hutch on top my tool box. This charger is fantastic. I have already used it 50+ times. I highly recommend buying it on amazon for the best deal!

I have the m18 kit and the m12 kit and this charger makes the work day so much better as now I only need one charger for both kits I can sell all of my other chargers!!
